This individual will be on the front-lines responding to a variety of clinician and patient billing related inquiries. The individual will be expected to work cross-functionally across many departments (sales, operations, billing, and lab teams) to serve our patient and client needs.

 

LOCATION:Remote

SCHEDULE Work hours Monday - Friday between 5am - 6pm PST for an 8 hour shift.  To be determined by department.  

 

What you’ll do:

  • Be well-versed in all Invitae processes and policies to respond clearly to high volume billing tasks and inquiries
  • Maintain appropriate response time in various communication platforms (Example: phone calls, chats, emails, portal inquiries, etc)
  • Identify issues and suggest potential improvements
  • Collaborate with your team and develop best practices to ensure we are providing the best service and experience to all customers 
  • Maintain an assigned schedule, and be flexible with daily schedules when business needs change
  • Examine incoming orders to ensure completeness and accuracy of required documentation for prior authorization
  • Work directly with various vendors to ensure successful submissions of prior authorizations
  • Monitor the status of prior authorization requests, follow up on pending cases, and initiate follow ups, if necessary, to ensure timely approvals
  • Stay informed about insurance policies and guidelines, ensuring that all prior authorization requests align with the necessary criteria 
  • Maintain accurate records of prior authorization requests, approvals, and denials. Enter relevant information into databases 
  • Participate in projects that extend beyond your day to day to stretch you to think outside the box

  • Support Key Accounts:
    • Resolve account level issues promptly and effectively.

We're looking for a passionate Laboratory Technician who will support high complexity laboratory testing  on patient specimens across various assays and platforms. Reporting directly to the Extraction Supervisor, Laboratory Technician I is responsible for specimen handling and processing, with a strong emphasis in extractions, following the laboratory’s pre-analytic and analytic procedures and maintaining records of tests. This role will be performing quality control and quality assurance procedures while complying with all applicable local, state and federal laboratory requirements. The work requires excellent attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and be flexible with tasks and schedules, and the ability to work independently in a team environment. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm 

What you will do:

  • Carries out day to day tasks including preparing for and executing nucleic acid extractions.
  • Isolate nucleic acids using manual methods and/or automated instrumentation ensuring the delivery of high-quality purified samples for downstream assays.
  • Follows written lab procedures for the correct handling and processing of samples in accordance with standards set forth in standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintains projects and sample information, protocols, and experimental details through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Assists in the orientation and training of new employees.
  • Performs quality control procedures established for each method and maintains accurate records.
  • Additional duties outside of extraction may include histology and other associated tasks.
  • Maintains records demonstrating that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens,
  • Adheres to the laboratory’s quality assurance procedures including documenting all quality control activities, instrument and equipment verifications and preventive maintenances
  • Identifies and documents problems that may adversely affect test performance and notifies the supervisor, assistant director(s) or director.
  • Documents all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from laboratory’s established performance specifications.

As a Senior Platform Engineer on the Invitae Cloud team, you will build new platform capabilities, support our existing customers, and help set the direction for cloud native technologies at Invitae. Engineers on our platform team come from a variety of backgrounds; including software engineering, DevOps, and site reliability. We are looking for engineers who bias towards automation and systems design with a dash of production support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters on [insert cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)]
  • Automate deployments and rollbacks using tools like Helm and GitOps workflows
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for the Kubernetes platform
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to Kubernetes deployments and infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the Kubernetes ecosystem, including container orchestration tools and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

As a Senior Software Engineer of the Identity team, you will be responsible for Invitae’s mission-critical authentication and authorization systems. Thousands of patients and providers use these systems daily to access Invitae’s testing capabilities and find answers to their most pressing health questions. Invitae’s business depends on these systems operating securely, reliably, and efficiently to ensure our patients get accurate results in a timely manner.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building our next patient data service that will securely store all of our patient data from different sources.  These new services will have a new user model that will allow for organizational hierarchy that will work with customers existing SSO.   • Work across the organization to plan and execute large, cross-functional initiatives, including: project definition, technical specification, task break-down, delivery, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Design and implement software systems and services critical for the company’s success

What you'll do: 

  • Plan, launch, and maintain sponsored testing and data product programs
  • Owning project management responsibilities and day-to-day interactions with biopharma clients and third party data and platform partners
  • Building, maintaining, and evolving external relationships with biopharma and third party data and platform partners across the ecosystem
  • Provide feedback with Invitae’s product team to translate client requests into development activities

What you bring:

  • Experience developing project management standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency across the team

Invitae is seeking Regional Managers (RM) to develop and grow the territory for Invitae’s fully informative hereditary cancer health and somatic testing programs. This includes developing and carrying out a territory business plan as well as a specific sales strategy within a defined region.
