Summary:

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our New Revenue function and drive sales growth as we expand our into diversifying the Able & Cole brand into other revenue streams, including traditional bricks and mortar, retail spaces. Working across a wide range of channels, including wholesale, supermarket retailers, our existing B2B sales proposition, Fed, as well as helping to utilise our vans by delivering for others as a 3PL provider, we have ambitious plans to ramp up our non-D2C revenue.

What You’ll be Doing:

The BDL for New Revenue will play a pivotal role in diversifying and expanding our sales channels, ensuring maximum market growth and revenue generation. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, exceptional sales acumen, and a deep understanding of traditional retail landscapes and willing to learn about a D2C business. This is an entrepreneurial role, perfect for someone who has a natural flair for business development, can think on their feet and balance multiple priorities at once.

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for entering and excelling in traditional retail spaces.
  • Identify and prioritise target markets, channels, and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales execution strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Act as an ambassador for our B Corp values: make all decisions with our social and environmental impact in mind and look for opportunities, no matter how small, to use our business as a force for good.

Business Development:

  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with retail chains, independent retailers, wholesalers & distributors, 3PL customers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, agreements, and contracts with customers to secure optimal margin, placement in store (where relevant) and visibility for our products.
  • Continuously seek out new business opportunities and revenue streams within the traditional retail sector.

Sales Management:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a small and newly formed sales team across the channel mix of New Revenue.
  • Hit ambitious sales targets and KPIs, and monitor performance against goals.
  • Develop sales forecasts, analyse trends, and proactively address any deviations from targets.

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the traditional retail landscape.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimise sales initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Technical and other teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to inform product development, pricing strategies, and marketing spend, where relevant.

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on driving revenue growth in wide mix of traditional retail channels.
  • Strong understanding of traditional retail business models, dynamics, and best practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and people skills – you have bags of emotional intelligence and can persuade even the toughest of prospects

Role Summary:

The Midweight Integrated Designer will work in the Brand & Creative Team, Marketing Department. The Senior Project & Production Manager will manage the workload of the Midweight Integrated Designer, supplying briefs that are planned into two week sprints.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You will collaborate closely with the rest of the creative team, from studio to copy, and follow the content production process

• Create best practice examples of the brand guidelines in all designs, from print to digital

• Manage multiple briefs in your workload and have full ownership of delivering those on time and to a technically accurate standard

• Evolve your designs using feedback from the Creative Lead, Head of Marketing and briefing teams, approaching feedback constructively

• Have a thorough understanding of the Abel & Cole audience segments and commercial objectives of your briefs, using this information to inform your design choices

• You will own executing your campaigns across all customer touchpoints, spanning print, email and web. This looks like:

o Confidently taking on conceptual briefs and collaborating with other creatives, presenting your concepts with strong rationale

o Lead on giving creative direction to the studio team when shooting assets for your design briefs

o Confidently execute print communication designs end to end, from initial concepts through to print specs, feedback amends, and sending to print. All with minimal input and amends

o Confidently execute creative and engaging email communications across the customer journey end to end, from templated weekly promotional emails to creating new designs for ad-hoc brand comms. All with minimal input and amends

o Confidently execute web designs end to end, whether that’s owning the weekly homepage updates, redesigning content landing pages, or evolving our approach to seasonal landing pages. From initial design through to feedback amends, and deployment. All with minimal input and amends

o Confidently execute blog coding designs end to end, from creating blog image assets, coding and linking copy, making feedback amends, and setting live. All with minimal input and amends

o Confidently execute social media designs end to end, from creating concepts and designs, making feedback amends, and finalising assets. All with minimal input and amends

• Proactively stay abreast of content industry updates, competitor activities, and inspirational case studies, sharing with the wider team

About You:

• Your portfolio strongly demonstrates your experience with executing a campaign/project/concept across print, email, and web. By showcasing your creative suite skills, it highlights how you work confidently and independently across print and digital mediums, always with commercial objectives in mind

• You’re adept at thinking at a conceptual level, presenting rationale for design choices

• Great sense of design and composition with a strong eye for layout and appreciation of brand guidelines across all devices and channels

Role Summary:

• Have a strong understanding of our NPS, brand awareness and customer satisfactions scores to help inform customer performance using both leading and lagging KPIs

• Lead and assist with ad hoc pieces of analysis based on opportunities you and the team spot dedicated to driving performance

• Feed into our Department OKRs on a quarterly cadence, both in terms of reporting against them but also developing what we should be reporting against to drive success

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join Abel and Cole’s marketing team. Reporting into the Performance Marketing Manager, this role involves owning Abel and Cole’s strategy for acquisition conversion rate optimisation and providing analytics insight using GA4. You will ensure our campaign landing pages provide a great user journey helping to deliver against our KPIs and objectives. You will also be on hand to help support on paid media campaigns across Google, Microsoft & Meta, plus supporting on affiliate and app activity too.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Developing and implementing CRO strategies to improve our user journeys, traffic quality and conversions

• Design and implement A/B and multivariant tests to optimise landing page experiences.

• Use internal and external data to execute conversion optimisation strategies

• Work closely with the web, content & creative team to develop a strong new customer acquisition narrative, writing briefs for Marketing assets to support campaign initiatives

• Report on web campaigns and CRO initiatives to implementing learnings and strategic improvements

• Working with the App team to improve user experience

• Supporting the Performance Marketing Manager in shaping and delivering the acquisition marketing plan across our core paid media channels, particularly Google, Meta and affiliates

• Support the launch of new paid marketing channels

• Create and manage offers and promotions for various Marketing campaigns

• Be on hand to support senior members of the Marketing team with administrative tasks

• Conduct ongoing competitor and industry research, identifying new trends and opportunities

About You:

• Experience in a previous Marketing role, Marketing internship, or in possession of a Marketing-related degree with a focus on website optimisation and testing

Role Summary:

You will be joining a dedicated support team, responsible for the IT infrastructure across 14 sites, supporting over 500 users. You will proactively administer our servers, services and network infrastructure, deliver enhancements through project work and resolve escalated 2nd and 3rd line support issues, helping to ensure that SLAs are met.

You will be based out of our Wimbledon or Andover offices (on-site two days a week with remote working up to three days). Occasional travel will be required to other sites. You will report into the Service Team Lead and your support responsibilities will include configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT hardware as well as some out-of-hours cover.

This is a hybrid role which can be based out of our Wimbledon or Andover offices, with 2 days required, on site, per week.
