Business Development Representative

ConsumerAffairs is hiring a Remote Business Development Representative

Under direction from the Senior Sales Manager, the Business Development Representative supports B2B sales efforts at top-of-funnel. The Business Development Representative serves as a critical first point-of-contact outbound sales prospects for mid to large brands.  The Business Development Representative must efficiently engage a high volume of contacts, have meaningful exploratory conversations, and create viable sales opportunities for Account Executives.  The Business Development Representative must thrive in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating great judgment, and the ability to connect with people. This is an in office position, requiring candidates to work from our Tulsa location.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively research outbound sales prospects, and initiate first touch sequences using industry standard sales outreach technologies.
  • Conduct introductory calls with brands to identify mutual partnership fit.
  • Maintain a consistent system of follow-up using industry standard technologies.
  • Maintain an updated CRM pipeline and produce reports based on disposition data.
  • Act as client support specialist for free user accounts.
  • Execute multi-touch nurture campaigns designed to transition free user accounts into paid partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications & Credentials

  • A minimum of 2 years in sales or client services experience in a high paced, technical environment
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing a high volume customer pipeline
  • Experience and comfortability around cold emailing, and cold calling

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and sales enablement software
  • Experience using B2B sales enablement tools such as SalesForce, Hubspot, Outreach, Gong etc is a plus
  • General knowledge of SEO and search engines

About The Job

The Account Executive will hunt and nurture new business for the ConsumerAffairs.com’s Reputation business, reporting to the Senior Sales Manager. The Account Executive serves as the central point-of-contact for high priority out-/in-bound sales prospects and converts those prospects into closed sales. The Account Executive must efficiently manage a sales pipeline from “opportunity” through to “negotiation” and “close” stages. Successful AEs will utilize their fundamental sales and nurturing abilities including strong phone skills, follow-up and internal coordination to provide prospects with necessary information in their buying decision. The Account Executive must thrive in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating great judgment, and the ability to connect with people.

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota by identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
  • With a sense of urgency, source new prospects in assigned categories, while also qualifying opportunities sourced by team members
  • Effectively manage the full sales cycle including contract generation and other deliverable to close new business
  • Coordinate seamlessly with team members including Business Development Reps, other AEs, and the customer success team as well as cross-functionally to drive deals across the finish line.
  • Rapidly become knowledgeable on the value proposition of Reputation business for product demos
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing best practices and collaborating cross-functionally with Client Success and Marketplace teams
  • Proficient in managing and willingness to learn standard sales technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach and others
  • Provides accurate forecasts based on opportunity pipeline

Minimum Qualifications & Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Hard/Technical Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales  or account management experience in a technical and/or SaaS environment
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in digital marketing, digital communications or PR
  • Demonstrated experience working with brands
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, sales enablement software, and various data analytics platforms
  • General knowledge of SEO and search engines

About The Job

The Paid Search Analyst will work with category managers and internal stakeholders to define the accounts goals and strategy. They will be responsible for keyword research, keywords selection, ad copy creation, account set-up, campaign execution, campaign strategy and optimization, bid management and analysis of all paid search media accounts. The analyst will analyze, optimize and refine campaigns to meet clients’ goals, such as ROAS, CPC, CPA, etc., as they helped to define them at the start of the campaign.

Analyze

  • Identify & track campaign refinements and optimizations
  • Apply regular optimizations to ad campaigns including keyword expansion and ad copy creation
  • Regularly reviewing performance and data to make strategic decisions

  • Serve as the PPC expert by implementing best practices and overcoming challenges to achieve campaign goals

Collaborate
