Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. 

  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Field Operations Management: 

  • Oversee all aspects of field operations, including site assessments, installations, testing, and commissioning. 

  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track.

Client Relationship Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and exceeding expectations for quality and performance.

Resource Management: 

  • Manage field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring they have the necessary tools, equipment, and training to execute project tasks effectively. 

  • Coordinate with internal departments to allocate resources efficiently and optimize project outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: 

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that installations and configurations meet industry standards and client requirements. 

  • Adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and completion certificates. 

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the original plan.

  • Create and Submit Weekly or Bi-Weekly Meeting Agenda

  • Lead Weekly or Bi-Weekly Meeting Agenda

  • Create and Submit Meeting Minutes

  • Create and Submit Weekly or Monthly Reports

  • Verify Monthly Man Hour Reporting

  • Forecast Labor, Vendor and Subcontractor Costs, and ODCs

  • Maintain Project Budget and WIP

  • Conduct Subcontract Negotiation, Issue, and Maintain Purchase Orders

  • Invoicing of Customer and Approving Subcontractor Invoices

  • Submission of Deliverables and Invoicing in RMS

  • Attend Kick-off, Site Survey, Progress or Quarterly Site Visits w/ CEHNC, PVT

  • Review of SVAPP, APP and Assist with AHAs as necessary

  • Create and Submit QASP

  • Submit and Maintain Project Schedule

  • Create Milestone / Progress Payment Schedule

  • Track Drawing Package w/ Engineering.  

  • Review and Submit Deliverables

  • Create and Submit RFIs, ECPs, and REAs

  • Create Service Orders and Maintain Service Order Log

  • Schedule Customer Training Maintain Sign-offs

  • Review and submission of As-built Drawings

  • Submission of O&M Manuals

  • Submission of Cybersecurity Artifacts

  • CPAR Self-Assessment

  • Final Invoice and RoC

  • Create and Submit Letter of Warranty

  • Track Warranty Claims

Qualifications

  • High School or GED diploma required.

  • 8 + years’ experience as a Project Management, or related field (preferred) 

  • 8+ years of proven experience in project management, particularly in the security or technology industry.

  • 8 + years of strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • FRP 2 Plus – Understand project financials, budgets, billing, and WIP reporting with the assistance of a project coordinator.

  • Managing projects up to $400K

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management, schedules, coordination with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation and/or AV systems.

  • Previous project supervisory experience required.

  • Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • 2+ Years Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, electronic security systems and AV systems).

    •  Access Control Systems; Video Management Systems; Intrusion Detection (Perimeter and Interior)
    •  Strong knowledge of security technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
    •  Infrastructure (Interior and Exterior Cabling, Fiber, Network, Wireless)
    •  Reviewing RFPs, technical specifications, and the production of cost estimate and proposals.
    • Providing cost estimates and change orders.
    • Interacting with internal and external customers to interpret technical requirements and provide guidance to shape solutions.
    • Producing a variety of written documents such as pre or post-bid engineering survey reports; read, interpret, and review electrical, electronic, and electromechanical schematics
    • Proficiency in project management and system integration.
    • Reviewing and assess CAD drawings produced by in-hours CAD team;
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of government security regulations and clearances is a plus.
