We are looking for an E&I Engineer to join our Enapter Customer Projects Team in Pisa. If you join our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for E&I topics, supporting the design of multi-core electrolyser systems and the integration of single-core electrolyser systems from design to field deployment.

To be successful in your position in Enapter, you should have consolidated proficiency in detailed design of systems. In addition to this, you should also be detail-oriented and able to handle challenging deadlines. The role will add to and develop with the team in terms of technical skills, capabilities and project delivery.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

• You will ensure all aspects of the engineering design effort under your responsibility (design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reviews) are delivered on time, and fit for purpose for the project and business requirements;
  
• Design Electrical and Instrumentation systems & modify electrical installation details, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable and consumer lists;
• Review Electrical and Instrumentation Design Engineering from our development team and from vendors such as calculations, cable schedules, Block diagrams, Motor sizing, Switchboard design, Layouts etc from the development team and from vendors;
• Retrieve information to complete drawing, layout and design including technical specifications;
• Support a multidisciplinary team on E&I matters across the entire lifecycle;
• Develop best practice working procedures to support E&I developments;
• Participate in several minor projects simultaneously.

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

• First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it
• Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• 5+ years' demonstrated experience in LV Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems design, engineering, maintenance and/or project implementation and commissioning in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industries;
• AutoCAD and EPLAN experience;
• Basic understanding of DCS, PLC, SCADA and network systems;
• Knowledge of International codes and standards, good engineering practice and the applicable statutory requirements with respect to Electrical systems and Instrumentation systems;
• Knowledge of Process and/or Piping disciplines is a plus;
• Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems;
• Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

Depending on your experience and interests, you’ll join one of our teams in Germany or Italy:

• Engineering: Work with us on our equipment, facilities and systems and develop new designs
• Chemistry: Investigate, optimise and characterise existing or promising new materials, help us improve the core system of our electrolyser stack or work with us on the scale-up and automation of our chemical production
• Marketing: Support the marketing team in social media and content marketing, delve into the analytics and management of our website or work on generating leads and expanding our partner and customer network
• Communications / PR: Bring in your passion for internal and external communications, engage with our community and spread awareness of hydrogen and its benefits to the world
• Business Development: Win new customers, build our partner network and support us in developing business models and target markets
• Customer Support: Work with our team on identifying customer needs, support our customers in using our products and features and help us accelerate the deployment of the revolutionary AEM technology
• HR: Support the HR team in growing our great teams globally in the fight against climate change, work on HR marketing, talent acquisition, HR development, onboarding and assist with administrative topics

We´re looking for a dynamic Sales & Business Development Working Student (m/f/d) interested in learning about the clean hydrogen business by supporting the Business Development (BD) team in our day-to-day activities.

What role will you play inbuilding a green hydrogen future?

• Supporting the sales team in qualifying leads and processing customer inquiries

• Support in organising and updating our CRM database
• Market research to help identify target markets
• Development of customer relationships and initiation of hydrogen projects

• Preparation and execution of sales pitches

• Support of the team in the preparation and follow-up of events

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business or technical-related field
• Available for 15- 20 hours per week

• Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
• Experience and network in the energy sector, specific to hydrogen is a plus
• Experience with customer contact, Experience in sales is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Have a pro-active attitude, a hunger to learn and a desire to take action in a dynamic start-up environment
