Position Summary: Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. This position will be expected to work a flexible work schedule serving Dothan and surrounding areas. (shift time 5:30 AM to 2:30PM )

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs
• Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records
• Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples
• Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing
• Answer related patient questions and provide useful information
• Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling
• Follows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor

Positions Requirements:

• BS or BA in Health Sciences or in Business required;

We are recruiting for a LeadRevenue Cycle Analystfor our Revenue Cycle Department.

FLSA: Full-Time | Exempt | Salary

The LeadRevenue Cycle Analystwill have at least 5 years of experience dealing with all types of payers including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial medical billing. This position requires knowledge of the entire revenue cycle from charges, medical necessity, EOBS, HCFA's, denials, ERAs, clearinghouses, eligibility, payor enrollment, and billing system configuration settings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing, updating and maintaining billing system configurations and act as liaison with the billing software team (Imagine)
• Assist with external initiated audits
• Manage monthly patient statements and act as liaison between the billing department and collection company
• Generate revenue cycle reports and analytics used to monitor and optimize revenue cycle billing metrics and cash flow targets.
• Produce dashboards, reports and other tools to support management oversight.
• Supervise all aspects of client billing process. Act as liaison between facilities and billing department
• Supervise and monitor posting of EOBs
• Management of fee schedules
• Other duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• 5+ experience in medical billing (diagnostics or ancillary services preferred)
• Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC highly preferred; CPC preferred
• Prior experience utilizing a PBX or digital multi-line phone system required

FLSA: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Hourly

The Mobile Phlebotomistwill have to be efficient with time management, good communicator, above average working on a laptop/surface, and highly skilled phlebotomist to be successful drawing the geriatric population. This position works under the supervision of the Mobile Phlebotomy Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Enter in your mileage and complete queues
• Act as liaison with client and dispatcher
• Respond to dispatch on questions about new orders and or about orders drawn
• Monitor throughout the day new assignments
• Monitor all your supplies to include expiration dates on tubes and reorder supplies as needed
• Good customer service skills with clients and patients at all times
• Maintain daily records and logs per each facility
  
• Maintain Professionalism at all times
• Report on time per your shift
• Maintain good communications with your supervisor
• Follow preanalytical processes such as patient ID and proper PPE as needed
• Most importantly be reliable team member

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• 2 + years' experience drawing in the field/healthcare setting (long-term care setting preferred)

Compensation:

• Hourly compensation commensurate to experience.
