RPI Consultants is seeking an Infor (Lawson) Payroll Principal Consultant to join our growing team. This position is responsible for Infor Payroll upgrades, process improvement projects, and new product implementations.  You will work as part of multi-disciplinary implementation teams to improve customer use of Infor HCM Payroll systems.   

Work as a peak-performing, senior, contributing member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team to implement and improve customer’s use of technology to streamline and optimize their business functions. The principal is the high-level decision-maker who is expected to contribute to the overall profitability and performance of the company. Principal Consultants commit to upholding the company policies and practices and contribute to developing HCM business, building client relationships, and soliciting opportunities to add value and billable work.  

Qualifications

  • Has a minimum of 8 years’ experience working with Infor Lawson Payroll modules, demonstrating proficiency in multiple Infor Lawson HR areas 

  • Demonstrates experience and a proven track record of leading successful, full cycle engagements implementing Lawson S3 v10 payroll and at least one CloudSuite Global Payroll implementation 

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in consulting 

  • Demonstrates experience implementing in Healthcare or Public Sector environments 

  • Demonstrates experience with business process validation, system configuration, data conversions and migrations, system customization, testing, cutover planning & execution, go-live and end user support 

  • Experience working in Healthcare or Public Sector environment(s)

Job Description

RPI Consultants seeks a Principal Technical lead with extensive experience in the Infor Workforce Management product to join our growing Infor WFM Practice.  This position is responsible to lead and support all technical aspects of implementations of Infor Workforce Management, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, system analysis, system design and configuration, extensions, integrations, training and post live support.  The Technical lead will work with the RPI WFM and PMO teams to continuously improve and promote leading practices, delivery leading practices, solution architecture, integrations, and value add services as well as support company marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide practice leadership and refine technical delivery models to adopt leading practices
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to other consultants and colleagues
  • Act as lead technical consultant in application architecture, design, extensions and deployment, and rollout of Infor WFM Suite including Time & Attendance, MVS, and all submodules.
  • Serve as the product SME regarding technical architecture, Integrations, and extensions with Infor’s Cloud suite and like products on the market
  • Act as the primary liaison with Infor Support, R&D, and Cloud where necessary to support product and project needs
  • Provide training, testing support, client guidance and post live support
  • Provide thought leadership in the Infor WFM space including delivery of presentations and creation of relevant content
  • Provide audit and QA functions to ensure quality of deliverables and adherence to leading practices

  • Deep expertise with Infor WFM technical aspects, including system architecture, integrations and Groovy extension
  • Mastery of SQL, XML, Groovy, Cognos and Birst is ideal.

This role leads application architecture, design, configuration, deployment, and support of Infor WFM Suite, which, depending on individual expertise may include Time & Attendance and/or Multi-View Scheduler, all submodules and related functionality. You will implement thoughtful solutions to meet your client's business process challenges with employee time & attendance tracking and staffing & scheduling needs. Together, with your team, you will conduct a thorough assessment of your clients' current processes, pinpointing obstacles and areas needing enhancement. In collaboration with your clients, you will devise and execute a streamlined and sophisticated system rooted in industry best practices.

 Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for leading and supporting full cycle implementations of Infor Workforce Management, including; 

  • Delivering on time and on budget projects
  • Gathering requirements and performing system analysis,
  • Designing the system, solution architecting and creating functional design documentation
