Your day-to-day (as a Senior BA you’ll):

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering & Marketing teams to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Draw out key business insights and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for accessing and analyzing data using Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL, Big Query or other tools, as necessary.

What you’ll do:
As a Director of Product Marketing, you’ll be responsible for market research, product launches, go-to-market, messaging and positioning for our product experience. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team of product management, sales, marketing, enablement and creative teams to accelerate business growth.

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B or B2C media and/or data

Spiceworks Ziff Davis is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Editor-in-Chief. Reporting to the SVP of Publishing, the EIC of Spiceworks will lead content strategy and operations to drive audience growth, revenue, and innovation. This leader will oversee the Spiceworks content and community teams. 
This leader will have a proven track record in driving and implementing successful brand strategies across editorial operations, content, community, video and social. Key responsibilities include managing editorial staff and ramping up content cadence during key tech/B2B moments, managing editorial budget, liaising with the monetization team to create innovative editorial programs for sponsors, leading the Spiceworks editorial calendar, and implementing strategies to build high LTV consumers for healthy audience growth. The leader of this organization will drive sustainable growth through a combination of setting and executing the right strategy, instilling operational rigor, and leading with both inspiration and accountability.

Specific responsibilities will include

  • Overseeing the Spiceworks editorial budget and optimize on efficiencies to focus on areas with the most growth opportunities
  • Implementing an art and science approach to content creation making sure the team is using data to help inform their decisions but to also double down on hunches/trends they see coming
  • Applying operational rigor to ensure the content and community teams are focused on products/categories that drive the most value for the Spiceworks audience; create a funneled content approach to re-engage the audience and have them come back for more
  • Building a cohesive strategy to further define Spiceworks and create a strong brand sentiment both externally (consumer and clients) as well as internally; this must be apparent from the content that is created, community engagement, and immersive brand moments such as Spice World.
  • Creating quarterly OKRs and holding the editorial team accountable to meet objectives by focusing on the right things
  • Establishing a strong relationship with the Audience Development team optimizing on SEO, Social and E-mail to drive consumer growth and engagement
  • Working effectively with Product and Engineering to create an optimal site and community experience and develop immersive content experiences to further engage and grow audience
  • Partnering with the Monetization team to develop new and next editorial programs to help drive Ad Sales revenue
  • Coordinating with the Research and BI team to build dashboards that are most impactful for editorial team to use when it comes to content creation
  • Identifying opportunities of operational efficiencies, areas of collaboration, and best practices with partners such as the EIC of PCMag and Mashable.
