Summary of the Job:  
   
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is focused on understanding & articulating the company's offerings to assist them in the demand generation programs in defined geographies.    
BDR at SWZD (Spiceworks Ziff Davis) www.swzd.com acts as an extension of the company's sales & marketing team. He/ She is responsible to generate sales qualified meetings.    
    
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    
  • Understand the company's solutions & offerings
  • Map global markets, capture market intelligence & identify target markets through research
  • Effectively articulate value proposition to decision makers and assess buying interest
  • Prospect, Educate, Qualify and Develop accounts to create sales ready meetings
  • Effectively perform outbound calls to target prospectsin defined geographies
  • Engage in meaningful conversation/s with key decision makers and business owners
  • Conduct targeted surveys to identify the right business opportunity from prospects
  • Consistently meet or exceed demand generation targets to create high quality sales pipeline for
  • the company
  • Be Responsible for lead nurturing and follow up programs designed by the company
    
Desired Profile:    
  • Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B Domain - US region Only.
  • Should be comfortable working in Fixed US Shifts (EST)
  • Good understanding of theB2B salesand marketing industry
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technology and sales
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills
  • and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Team Player who possesses a desire and ability to work in a fast paced, goal oriented high
  • growth sales environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter with competitive personality and Strong attention to detail
  • Proven capabilities and skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call

Who you are: 
As a Sales Account Analyst at SWZD, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales team by analyzing account data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to drive revenue growth.
This role reports into the US-based Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What will be your responsibilities
Forecasting and Planning:
  • Assist in Sales Capacity Model planning, Quota Setting and Commission Modeling
  • Sales forecasting with account-specific revenue projections to roll up to annual plan per customer account, by product, by sales representative.
Sales Account Analysis:
  • Analyze sales account data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue optimization.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to understand account-specific metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Generate regular reports on account performance, highlighting trends and patterns compared to expectations and prior year.
Account Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile sales accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of account data.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Sales Operations Support:
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of account-related workflows.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making within the Sales team.
What does it take to do this job
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience (2-4 years) as a Sales Account Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Expert experience in Excel, knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented, familiar with sales processes and metrics, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
