Vatica Health is hiring a Remote Senior Provider Engagement Representative - NYC Market

This Sr. Provider Engagement Representative is responsible for the full range of provider relations and engagement activities for Vatica Health. The Senior Provider Engagement Representative recruits and provides account management for healthcare Practices and their respective providers for Vatica’s service offerings. These services include, but are not limited to, Enhanced Annual Wellness Visits and other clinical services. Functions include securing contracts with healthcare practices and providers, in the assigned geographic area and working closely with Vatica’s local, and national operations and clinical teams to optimize the company’s market presence. This individual also interfaces with the provider relationship personnel at Vatica’s Health Plan clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to effectively engage practices, ranging from large health systems to local practices in assigned geographic regions.
  • Engage physicians & administrators in group, face to face and telephone meetings.
  • Support collaboration with health plan clients to analyze, design, and develop networks through ongoing evaluation of both current and potential network participants
  • Recommend appropriate provider engagement tactics to improve performance in Vatica Health’s programs.

  • Sales/Account Management experience in healthcare EMR, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Managed Care Services to independent healthcare providers
  • Experience in Salesforce.com CRM (Preferred)

Vatica Health is seeking Medical Assistants that are highly organized, detail oriented, and adaptable in a fast paced environment for our Field Coordinator Iopportunity. The Field Coordinator I works with our provider clients and our clinical team to optimize practice workflows and generate a high level of penetration in the office. The Field Coordinator I works closely with internal departments (Clinical Consultants, Schedulers, Operations) and our provider clients to organize and coordinate patient and provider engagement.  The Field Coordinator I will ultimately drive practice penetration rates by maintaining our practice rosters and ensuring that every active patient has a Vatica visit. 

Responsibilities

  • Visit provider offices to assist with Medical Record transfers
  • Work with the Clinical Consultants to identify practice workflows and areas of opportunity
  • Coordinate with practices to run reports out of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Organize and reconcile patient lists
  • Work with Operations and Payer to verify patient eligibility
  • Coordinate and maintain scheduling templates for all practices
  • Track and maintain a list of all patients who need to be rescheduled and coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure a new appointment is scheduled
  • Create shells of visits in the application and maintain the rosters within each site (schedule reconciliation)



  • Experience with various EMR systems
  • Provider office administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with specific experience using MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be willing to travel to Provider offices up to 5 days per week

The Manager of Clinical Operations leads and manages the Clinical Operations teams in multiple Metropolitan Service Areas (MSAs) to ensure their efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. The Manager of Clinical Operations collaborates with and reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations on clinical and non-clinical issues (employee relations, productivity, management of relationships with practices, market growth and expansion goals including penetration rate). This role requires expert clinical acumen as well as strong interpersonal and management skills. This position requires regular travel (as needed) within the assigned territory. Additionally, this role is responsible for supervising, directing, coaching, and mentoring his/her teams.  

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to 25 individuals, including Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, and Coordinators located across different geographical areas.  
  • Manage and monitor the teams’ work schedules, productivity, performance, and quality against required standards.  
  • Regularly consult with team members and the Manager of Clinical Training & Development to provide support and improve clinical and operational training.  
  • Mentor/coach staff members, to enhance their professional development.  
  • Regularly assess and communicate the performance of staff members; provide ongoing feedback and coaching and work with Human Resources to manage/oversee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) of all team members as needed.  
  • Assess staffing needs of teams according to workload, staff competency and geographic location. Assigns and adjusts staffing based upon the needs of the organization and the practices served.  
  • Maintain keen awareness of all issues and problems in assigned territory.  
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with Senior Director of Clinical Operations, Provider Engagement Representatives, and other necessary stakeholders to support the business goals of participating practices, deliver the highest level of customer service, and drive prompt, effective resolution of any issues.  
  • Learn, understand, implement, and communicate all changes in strategy, technology, systems, workflows, policies, and procedures to appropriate team members.  
  • Collaborate with other company departments and teams (Member Engagement, Provider Engagement, Product, Provider Network, Sales, Compliance, etc.) on key initiatives and projects and to resolve issues and improve workflow processes.  
  • Independently lead new site order implementations. 
  • Assist teams with onsite and/or virtual provider training on Vatica technology during initial setup, and continually as needed.  
  • Assist all team members to develop best practices and improve workflows to increase Vatica encounter utilization and member penetration to achieve defined goals and objectives.  
  • Participate in activities to collect and analyze data to help Vatica better understand the value proposition, revenue improvement, care coordination, quality metrics, and medical cost savings.  
  • Promote an atmosphere of team building, professionalism, resiliency, honesty, transparency, and open communication that facilitates staff input into decision-making, conflict resolution and collegiality among all team members.  
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with very strong clinical acumen and leadership skills.  
  • At least three years of clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting required; adult critical care experience preferred.  
  • At least 3 years of management experience, preferably managing nurses.  
  • Proficiency with diagnosis coding, healthcare billing, quality and Value Based Care measures and metrics. Risk Adjustment knowledge/experience is preferred.  
  • Understanding of Medicare, ACD, Medicaid, and health plan benefit structures.  
  • Strong management experience or demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize, make decisions, delegate, and work independently.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with Vatica colleagues and leadership as well as physicians, advanced practice providers and medical office personnel such as Practice and Billing Manager.  
  • Must be adept and proficient in all aspects of the technology tools and software platforms utilized by the Clinical Operations team including but not limited to Well365, TASC, PBI, Salesforce, and the Admin Portal, etc.  
  • Experience with change management; leading in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  
  • Flexible, energetic, and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, non-structured, and at times, fluctuating environment.  
  • Must possess and have proven problem resolution skills.  
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong technical knowledge of computers, software, and EMR systems.  
  • Willingness to regularly travel within the assigned region as needed.  
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills and the ability to work independently and within the construct of a team.
