Essential Functions

  • Review and clear commercial and residential property reports from our title vendors.
  • Liaise and maintain an open line of communication with various departments, including Production, Processing, Closing, Underwriting, and Asset Resolution.
  • Monitor pipeline and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Resolve title issues, such as secured liens and/or judgments, unclear ownership of the property, and other related issues that prevent the clearing of title.
  • Prepare affidavits and request payoffs.
  • Ensure that all title issues are cleared in a timely manner and that documentation is valid and accurate.
  • Obtain required documentation from the Processing department to satisfy conditions or clearance.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Four-year college degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience working in a lending or mortgage environment as a processor or closer strongly preferred.
  • Minimum one year customer support experience required.
  • Minimum one year of title-related real estate experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
