Federal Strategic Account Lead

Why We Have This Role

The Qualtrics Federal sales team is a group of highly driven individuals dedicated to closing experience gaps across U.S. Federal organizations. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Enterprise Account Executive is expected to lead all sales efforts within the assigned territory, including prospect identification, lead generation, solution calls, advancing the sales cycle, proposal development, contract negotiation, forecasting and deal closure. The focus is on driving incremental revenue for Federal product lines and buyer personas. As a Federal Enterprise Account Executive, your overarching objective is to drive company revenue growth through net new customer acquisition and strategic expansion across the current customer base within DHS.

  • Takes the initiative to understand the customer mission, create a strategic plan, and execute
  • Elevates customer relationships to the next level through dedicated account management
  • Experience using enterprise sales processes such as MEDDICC
  • Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Willingness to travel and be client facing 50% of the time (approximate travel time dependent on team and to be confirmed by Hiring Manager)

  • Develop a territory plan and specific account plans to drive usage of the Qualtrics platform across DHS
  • Become a trusted advisor to a variety of buyers in the Federal vertical
  • Closely engage with clients at all points of the sales cycle - from prospecting, product demonstrations, onsite presentations, and contracting through close
  • Drive net new revenue growth through new logo acquisition and expansion of current accounts
    Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Be a thought leader and customer advocate with partners to elevate the adoption of experience management (XM)
  • Work closely with Qualtrics ecosystem resources and partners to identify and develop new strategic opportunities

What We’re Looking For On Your

  • 4-6 years of experience selling SaaS solutions to the Federal vertical
  • Successful track record of achieving assigned targets within the Federal vertical
  • Successful track record providing executive-level impact to clients and partners
  • Well-versed in Federal procurement processes and regulations
  • Well-versed in Federal government security standards and policies
  • Prior experience in building relationships with relevant Federal contractors
  • Prior experience responding to and winning competitive RFx solicitations
  • Existing relationships within the DHS territory preferred

About the Role

About the Team

Our Velocity and Pipeline team consists of 3 SDRs, 2 BDRs, and 3 Contract Renewal Specialists (CRS). The SDR and BDR team are focused on pipeline (SDRs = inbound, BDRs = outbound) and the CRS team is responsible for high-velocity renewals and identifying upsell opportunities. The team is talented, focused, and energetic!

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage a team that is critical to the current and future success of our organization. Team is currently comprised of 8 ICs:
    • 3 inbound SDRs
    • 2 outbound BDRs
    • 3 Contract Renewal Specialists (CRS) whose role is to renew and upsell accounts with <$20k of spend. This team runs a high velocity process. 
  • Some key goals for this unique role:
    • Optimizing the process and timing by which we reach out to these customers to renew. 
    • Optimizing our auto-renew process. 
    • Strategizing on how to step-up customers from deep legacy discounting towards our current list prices. 
    • Identifying and managing common objections in a scalable format (ideally using video!)
    • Evangelize our new product offering AI Avatars to these customers to spread awareness and generate pipeline. 
    • Optimize our inbound process to maximize efficiency, and conversions of calls into AE meetings (SQLs), ultimately helping to meet inbound pipeline targets
    • Work closely with Marketing & Sales Managers to iterate on our inbound and outbound processes to materially accelerate TOFU pipeline via both SDR and BDR pipeline channels. 
    • Optimize our renewals process, from the initial outreach to contract completion, including identifying upsell opportunities. This is a meaningful part of our business with a huge opportunity for driving short-term impacts. This can include:
  • Coach and mentor direct reports to provide career progressions to future sales roles
  • You’ll work under our Senior Director of Sales, but have a dotted line to our Senior Director of Marketing on the pipeline elements of your role. You’ll also work cross-functionally with other key teams including Ops and Product. 

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:

  • Highly data-driven and process oriented individual with at least 4-6 years of management experience, preferably in a SaaS environment. 
  • You have managed either an SDR/BDR team, or a renewals team; you are a curious person who has a keen interest in learning the other side of the business. Having experience in both is a BIG plus. 
  • You are an inspirational leader, able to clearly articulate to your teams the ‘why’ behind the work they’re doing, and how they fit into the bigger picture of our company goals. You get the best out of your talent, and develop them to continue in their career path at Vidyard and beyond.

Overview:

Qualifications:

  • Proven capability in financial modeling

A Senior Project Manager is a member of the Learning Services team responsible for working with an ambitious team of project and program managers to facilitate customer-facing change management for a global digital experience platform. Primary duties

  • Architect, build, and maintain the core infrastructure across the platforms – messaging, data, and workflow
  • Maintain and create REST and gRPC APIS for external and internal customers
  • Define contracts between the platforms and enforce consistency in coding and data
  • Identify bottlenecks and points of scale and make recommendations on how to maximize throughput and efficiency, then lead the team to implement

Qualifications / Experience preferred

  • 2-4 years sales or sales operations experience required

  • Hands-on Cloud hosting experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with Infra as Code like Terraform
  • Snowflake certification
  • Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines

Must be available during normal US EST business hours and for a minimum of 40 hours a week.Part of the interview process includes a programming and technical assessment.
