About the Role

Vidyard is seeking a Full Stack Intermediate Software Developer to join our innovative Nova Team, a pivotal force behind our cutting-edge AI Avatar feature and experimental functionalities. As a key player in this team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our AI video creation capabilities, enabling users to easily create AI videos of themselves and others by providing just a text script. About the Team

Our Nova Team is composed of five developers, a designer, a product manager, and a software development manager. We are dedicated to creating and enhancing Vidyard’s AI Avatar feature, continually improving and expanding its functionality. What You’ll Work On

 What You’ll Work On:

  • Oversee internal controls over financial reporting 
  • Review and report Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Prepare and/or review treatment and adjustments (IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 2, etc)
  • Detailed review, recommendation, and implementation of new accounting standards 
  • Assist with external reporting to lenders, banks, investors, etc.
  • Be responsible for accurate and timely filing and reporting of all corporate taxes including income tax, S&U taxes, PST, etc.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and recommend changes to ensure compliance (such as US state taxes, etc)
  • Oversee all external audits including year-end financial statement audits and audits from governing/tax authorities
  • Act as the liaison between other teams and finance with regards to systems, process changes, implementation teams, etc. and lead implementations/integrations from a finance perspective
  • Treasury management including foreign exchange
  • Other tasks as requested by the CAO

What You’ll Work On

  • Sales Process Optimization:Evaluate and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. To do this, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions, as well as Sales Enablement and Sales Systems leads to support behavioural change management. 
  • Revenue Data Governance: Conduct regular audits at month/quarter-end analysis to support business performance reporting. Own the creation, maintenance, and delivery of key datasets.
  • Order management:Support our Sales team in the quote-to-close process; ensuring our pricing/discounting policies have been followed and all contract-level-data is accurate. This can require liaising with product and legal teams, as well as Sales/RevOps/Finance leadership. Where possible, identify opportunities for process improvement using our tech stack (Zuora, Salesforce). 
  • Revenue Planning:Assist in developing accurate revenue forecasting and financial models. Monitor performance against sales targets and forecasting through dashboards (primarily Salesforce), providing ad-hoc analysis on business performance drivers as needed. 
  • Performance Management:Identify, refine, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, and most importantly, drive actions to ensure a continuous improvement across all teams. Aid in development of business requirements for stakeholder metrics, leveraging tools such as Google sheets, Salesforce, and BI tools.

About the Team

Our IT & Security team consists of the Manager, IT & Security, and IT & Security Specialists. This fully cross-functional team manages all IT and Security requests and requirements, manages our security framework, obligations, and compliance initiatives.
