How will this role have an impact?

A Data Engineer develops systems to manage data flow throughout Signify Health’s infrastructure. This involves all elements of data engineering, such as ingestion, transformation, and distribution of data.

What will you do?

  • Train and coach other developers on engineering principles
  • Investigate new tools, libraries, frameworks that exist or might exist for use in designing software
  • Communicate with business leaders to help translate requirements into functional specification
  • Develop broad understanding of business logic and functionality of current systems

  • Comfortable in multiple roles, from Design and Development to Code Deployment to and monitoring and investigating in production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner while clearly measuring progress
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, object-oriented design, parallel programming)
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET or Java) and SQL constructs.
  • Strong experience with big data pipelines in cloud and data normalization patterns. Experience with Orchestration tool, Snowflake and DBT is desired
  • Strong experience with cloud-based systems (Azure / AWS / GCP).
  • Strong experience with building big data pipelines (ADF / Data Bricks / Snowflake) and data normalization patterns 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong experience with use of RESTful APIs
  • Demonstrated experience with Queuing technologies (Kafka / SNS / RabbitMQ etc)
  • Demonstrated experience with Metrics, Logging, Monitoring and Alerting tools
  • Demonstrated experience with revision control (Git)
  • Demonstrated experience with deployment tasks and technologies. (CI/CD Pipeline, K8s, Terraform).
  • High level understanding of frontend software applications, Angular preferred
  • High level understanding of HL7 V2.x / FHIR based interface messages.
  • High level understanding of more abstract, non-functional requirements (e.g. security, performance, scalability, monitoring) within system elements.
  • Exposure to different types of patterns and can differentiate which patterns might be better for a specific problem.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $108,900 to $189,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you'll be doing:

Working closely with our engineering and product teams, this person will be responsible for all UX, design, and research on one of our core teams.   • A demonstrated facility with creating and using prototypes, wireframes, user interviews, data points, etc. to arrive at a solution and convey the vision and design of the product.

About the role
Imperva’s Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team is 3 years old and is staffed with senior leadership from Netflix, Cloudflare, Amazon, Fastly and other major corporations. Our mission is to rebuild Impervas pops and core infrastructure with new modern technologies, embracing Infrastructure as code at all levels with automation as a core requirement for any and all projects. 

 

We are looking for an experienced SRE to work with our Network Automation Team. Your responsibility will be to help design and build the infrastructure that will enable our next generation Network Automation platform that we use to support our teams and our customers.
These tools will have to scale with our growing platform and customer base, and will drive operational excellence for the Imperva globally distributed network. The person taking this role will have significant input in decisions that will have a major impact on Imperva’s infrastructure and how we serve our customers.

 

As an SRE in the ICO organization, you will work with your team solving problems, supporting and optimizing the infrastructure programmatically.  You will work with your team to improve the overall availability, reliability,  performance, and security of the infrastructure under control.

 

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Network Automation Team to build and deploy infrastructure supporting our new automation platform
  • Apply SRE core tenets of measurement (SLI/SLO/SLA), eliminate toil, and reliability modeling
  • Establish metrics for data-driven decisions to help increase availability, reliability, and velocity
  • Build and maintain, and evolve SLO and SLI network/system/application baselines
  • Assist with  go/no go preplanning, verification/validation, and review of existing and new product/services
  • Proactively analyze data and test the integrity of network/systems to ensure production applications and services are operating optimally
  • Work with internal customers as needed to troubleshoot and resolve business affecting issues
  • Escalations, incident response, RCA, and blameless postmortem 
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation




Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of professional experience within a cloud/web/CDN scale infrastructure
  • Experience with Python and Go. C/C++ a plus
  • Expert knowledge of Linux systems, network programming and protocols TCP, UDP, DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP
  • Experience with BGP and Anycast routing is a plus
  • Experience with DevOps principles and concepts such as Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Saltstack), CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins, Git), monitoring and visualization (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience with big data technologies such as NoSQL/RDBMS, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka
  • Experience with containers and container management  (Docker, Kubernetes)

About the team

An overview of this role

As a member of Torc Robotics' Information Technology team the Application Integration Engineer designs, implements, and supports Torc’s enterprise-wide application ecosystem to deliver optimal performance, security, and value. This role applies a deep understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and supports complex data flows between systems while prioritizing data integrity and security. The Integration Engineer defines and supports Torc IT’s automation goals using industry best-practices and methodologies for git, CI/CD, and orchestration. Partners with departments, teams, and users to provide solutions. Serves as the technical steward of the application ecosystem they support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintains knowledge of Torc’s core application offerings and their related API and system integrations; design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support secure data flow between enterprise information systems and their related applications. Systems include HCM and ERP, CRM, and IAM
  • Assists in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new software and systems that integrate with enterprise applications; reviews existing integrations and recommend optimizations that maximize data integrity, process efficiency, and user experience
  • Provides timely application and integration support as necessary, including responding to tickets, errors, alerts, and incidents; works with vendors and third parties as a liaison to implement, maintain, and support applications for our internal customers
  • Create and update policies and procedures to define security standards and minimum requirements of API integrations; develops and maintains automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks, reduce toil, and improve system efficiency
  • Support, secure, and standardize Torc IT’s automation tooling environment, including Ansible and GitHub; understand SDLC best practices and how it applies to applications, systems, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the Development Experience team to ensure IT practices align with company standards and requirements
  • Develop policy, procedure, standards, and guidelines for IT’s automation platforms; manages and reviews code repository structure, approvals, workflows, and audits
  • Provide training, direction, and support to the IT organization around how to consume and optimize automation scripting, version control, code review, testing, and scheduling
  • Lead and participate in application and automation projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new implementations
  • Write and maintain clear documentation, including diagrams, architecture design reviews, runbooks, test plans, policies, and procedures
  • Develop detailed project plans that deliver successful project outcomes and staying current on latest industry standards and trends regarding application integration and automation
  • Contribute, as needed, to other IT Enterprise Application team projects and goals
  • Support Torc IT’s software management system of application inventory, licensing, ownership, and compliance; collaborate, mentor, and train junior engineers and teammates

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or other related field
  • 5+ years working as an integration or automation engineer, or similar role in a high-tech environment; work experience equivalent in lieu of education
  • Proficiency in at least one software development language and familiarity with various other technologies such as: Python, Powershell, C#, PHP, JSON, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, SQL, XML, YAML, BASH, or Terraform
  • Experience developing and supporting custom integrations and/or using integration middleware such as Anypoint, Boomi, Jitterbit, or SnapLogic
  • Knowledge of a variety of databases and ETL (extract, transform, load) tools
  • Implementation and administration knowledge of orchestration tools such as Ansible
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC (software development life cycle) best-practices and methodologies
  • Security first mindset with proven experience implementing centralized logging and auditing
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially including the ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical incidents proactively
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across a diverse set of technical constituents
  • May travel occasionally (<10%) to Torc offices or their partner sites
  • Requires appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in areas identified through hazard assessment and continuous technical education and training with a passion for knowledge in the field of study to maintain the highest level of knowledge, ingenuity, and creative thinking
  • Ability to be flexible on short notice and may work extended hours/weekends/evenings when project demands and ability to work and collaborate across locations over different time zones

We expect Senior Machine Learning Scientists to be versatile and have a well-balanced set of skills. You will focus on model training, with significant capacity for research (developing novel model architectures), dataset construction, and model hardening (preparing the model and code for production pipelines).

Day-to-day, your responsibilities are to:

  • Work with subject matter experts and product owners to determine what questions should be asked and what questions can be answered.
  • Work with subject matter experts to curate, generate, and annotate data, and create optimal datasets following responsible data collection and model maintenance practices.
  • Answer questions and make trainable datasets from raw data, using efficient SQL queries and scripting languages, visualizing when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with text data to build predictive models, both supervised and unsupervised.

  • Software engineering background with 2-3 years of experience (we use Python, SQL, Unix-based systems, git, and github for collaboration and review).

The Solution Engineering Team is part of the wider Product group within Trustonic and responsible for integrating Trustonic Secure Platform products into our partner’s commercial products. Reporting to our Senior Solution Engineering Manager in Asia, we are looking for a customer-focused Solution Software Engineer based in Taiwan. Travel is expected to represent a proportion of time for this job. This role is mainly targeting Taiwan and the Hsinchu area but will be part of a wider team, dedicated to facing overall Asia customers and working closely with Chinese, Taiwanese and European colleagues in Trustonic.

Who you are...

As the Solution Software Engineer you have the following skills and experience:

Technical skills:  

  • Good C language knowledge is mandatory. 

  • Strong technical background: Embedded development and debug (including hardware debugger), ARM technology, system-on-chip (SoC), Android OS, Linux kernel and drivers, Fingerprint sensors, Cryptography, Secure policies and practices. Proven methodological testing skills an advantage. 

  • Knowledge in these areas is an advantage: TrustZone, TrustZone-M, secure boot, crypto experience, how security relates to communication protocols, and of the principles necessary to provide end-to-end security. 

  • An analytical mindset, able to approach a problem and devise a systematic way of solving it.

  • Strong team player, able to work with cross-functional and distributed teams, to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders and to lead where necessary. 

  • Ability to work with international customers, and with colleagues based at different locations. 

Languages: 

  • Native or Fluent Mandarin, both written and spoken, is a pre-requisite.

  • Fluency in English is required as it is the business language in the Company.

  • Good oral and written communication and reporting skills.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of software engineering, customer facing application engineering experience required.

  • Preferred experience in Security products (from embedded software to cloud services, including HSMs) in a multi-national company.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in C++ development, including modern C++ 17 standards.

  • Leading the development and maintenance of the CVEDIA-RT application, ensuring high performance and reliability across both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions for real-time computer vision processing.
  • Optimizing the application for different hardware configurations, including leveraging GPU acceleration where applicable.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues that arise during development and deployment.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and C++ development to ensure the application remains cutting-edge.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to integrate new features and improvements.
  • Managing tight deadlines and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
