The Opportunity

The Distribution PAE will be primarily responsible to sell all Imperva product lines and services by interacting with sales in North American which are prospects or leads generated from either Imperva or the Distributor.   • Manage and be the main point of contact for Imperva Sales and Distributor(s) in the assigned region/account assignment

  • Testing functionality and stability of application.
  • Providing System administration support of internal as well as customer-facing SalesForce portals
  • Coordinating the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Demonstrate abilities with APEX triggers and classes, Visualforce, javascript, flow designer, Lightning components
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including fixing data records, user account maintenance reports and dashboards
  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Transfer record ownership due to changes in job responsibility or territory coverage.
  • Maintain security including sharing rules and access privileges.
  • Create and maintain user permissions, roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Configure products, Price Lists and Price List Items for use within CPQ.
  • Document and train staff on system best practices and processes

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years dedicated SFDC application development
  • 3+ years of experience managing a Quote-to-Cash application, including CPQ and Contract Management
  • 1+ years dedicated SFDC admin experience
  • Functional working knowledge of Salesforce with the ability to do some functional changes and reporting with the application.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written, presentation skills, etc.
  • Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of all aspects of Salesforce CPQ
  • Strong data management abilities including excellent skills on writing complex SOQL queries to extract data for farther analysis
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to help translate business concepts to technical projects, and vice versa
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or relevant framework
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Good understanding of Salesforce CPQ is a must
  • Understanding of Salesforce Billing module is preferred.

Product Support Engineer (PSE) is a member of a global team of support engineers that is dedicated to providing superior support and enabling customers to customize their defenses to fit their environment. A PSE also engages with all Customer Success teams within Imperva, and often is looked too, to drive solutions with the customer in mind

Responsibilities:

  • Handling level 2-3 support cases, working directly with Imperva customers, partners and Sales Engineers.
    • Assess the severity and criticality of issues as they present themselves
    • Perform Case Management, customer communication and proactive follow ups through our CRM system.
    • Prioritize investigation efforts to attack the highest priority problems first.
  • Escalating customer’s technical product issues to the Imperva Engineering department and working with them to achieve a resolution
  • Maintain a solid understanding of existing Imperva product offerings, while tracking new feature releases.
  • Contribute to the Imperva knowledge base, writing guides, technical how-to articles, etc.
  • Participate in rotating weekend shift schedule

Required Skills:

  • BSCS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Minimum 3 years of high-level Technical Support experience
    • Additional experience working with Security or Network related products is preferred.
  • Support experience with a record of delivering customer satisfaction
  • Solid support experience working with technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, Proxies and Firewalls
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools such as tracerttcpdump, and Wireshark
  • Troubleshooting experience with Relational Databases (MsSQL, Oracle, MySQL, DB2) is desirable.
  • Prior hands on experience with Linux and other Unix operating systems.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies while leveraging past experience

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with troubleshooting and deploying cloud solutions like those offered by AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl, Python, Shell, Regex
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Container deployments and virtual storage solutions
