As Java Backend Technology Leader, you will help our customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs. You’ll use technologies that include Java 11+, Kubernetes, AWS and MySQL 5,7+ You’ll leverage new technologies to build the next generation of functional systems. You’ll develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them end to end. You will work on Data and Monitoring Dashboard along with the banking/payment applications development as required by customer.

For the TL position we would expect the people management experience.

The person will take responsibility to organize the work for the rest of the team and support with the problem solving along with progress reporting.

There are no regional limitations, however you may be asked to visit the Warsaw office from time to time for a day or two (cost covered by project)

Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.

Role Overview

The Core Commerce Org at Recharge is composed of several teams and is responsible for services core to our business, including Subscriptions, Orders, Customers, Credits, Discounts, Shipping, Taxes, Integrations with Shopify, and more. They work to maintain and improve these services from an operational perspective, as well as continue to build pivotal core features for our merchants and their customers. Über die Rolle

Senior Engineers bei carwow arbeiten in funktionsübergreifenden Produktteams aus Produktmanagern, Ingenieuren, Designern und Datenanalysten. What you'll be doing

 

We are typically organized into agile cross-functional teams composed of Engineering, Product and Design, which allows us to develop deep expertise and rapidly deliver high value features and functionality.

 

You’ll be part of a close knit team of Engineers developing the next generation of our T3 Fleet application that enablesend-users  to track, monitor and manage the health of their connected vehicles and deployed assets.

 

Recent initiatives include building connected camera features so that customers can better monitor safety & compliance in vehicles, and improving geofence experience to offer insights about assets within a boundary.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will 

 

  • Help design, build and deliver the services and domains that power the platform and its ecosystem — shaping the product features and platform capabilities.

  • Experience with managing deploys and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Experience with NoSQL datastores.
  • Strong incite into user experience and interface design.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Understanding of Server Side CSS preprocessors.
  • Consider yourself a generalist engineer and are willing to wear many hats, sometimes at the same time.
  • Comfortable with 'owning' products/features and ideally have experience with being responsible for the entire end-to-end development process.
  • Comfortable and willing to learn as you go. There's probably pieces of our stack you haven’t worked with before, and that's okay as long as you’re confident enough to learn as necessary.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Backend development with Django and occasionally some frontend work with Typescript and Javascript

  • Help other engineering teams design new apps and components

Skills You Need:

Job Description

The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for owning the employee life cycle as it relates to the backend HR systems structure including: the entry and maintenance of employee data, providing payroll and systems support to ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.  The HR Operations Analyst will work directly with the HR, Payroll and Benefits teams, and partner with our Regional Operations team and hospital leaders.

  • Manage data within ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN), this includes:
    • Processing entries throughout employee life cycle
    • Managing onboarding activities in conjunction with hiring managers and recruiting teams
    • Monitoring internal file feed communications for errors and correcting timely
    • Supporting the integration team with ADPWFN related tasks
    • Ensuring 100% accuracy, utilization of all required fields when entering information into ADPWFN
  • Perform monthly reconciliation and allocation of employee benefits
  • Respond to internal HR-data related inquiries or requests in a timely manner
  • Provide ADP support for Time & Attendance & PTO modules
  • Function as project support for all HR system upgrades and implementations
  • HR Compliance support:
    • Mandatory trainings, ACA, benefit invoices
    • Auditing personnel data within ADPWFN
  • Create process documents for the establishment of an adherence to HR best practices and procedures, and for responding to employee request for information
  • Resolve routine issues related to employment paperwork and processes in a professional and solutions-oriented manner             
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Day-to-Day
What does the team do?
  • We build product features to be proud of on a TypeScript-first stack consisting of a Next.js frontend and a Node.js/Express/Postgres backend, all hosted on AWS.
  • We burn our tech debt by incorporating a bit of tech debt work into every work week and we regularly have longer tech debt only phases.
  • We collaborate with other teams to ensure that our customers are able to seamlessly use our product across multiple integrations and software upgrades.
  • We mix it up by trying out different technology stacks and roles. Have a product idea? Let’s try out a proof of concept with a few customers. Want to try working a bit on the iOS app or on Docker images? Let’s pair you up with someone who can show you around.
All About You
  • 5+ years of full-stack experience building and supporting software in production
  • Experienced in building REST-based web services (we use Node.js, Typescript, and OpenAPI)
  • Experienced in system design, ideally for both new systems and refactoring old ones
  • Experience with robust test patterns for CI/CD builds and post-deployment verification
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, including data modelling, normalization, basic performance optimization through indexes (we use Postgres)
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with observability systems (we use Datadog extensively for our o11y stack and have integrated Logging, APM, RUM, DBM and use most of their products in some way)
  • Experience with mobile development, especially React Native, Kotlin or Swift/ObjC
  • Experience in another area of product development, like customer support, quality assurance, test automation
