Overview

We're looking for a Manager to join our Customer Success team! This person will nurture and lead a team of experienced Sr Customer Success Managers, scaling across our Top-tier Enterprise Merchants. Crucial to the success of our business, the Manager of Enterprise Accounts must have a mind to design as developing and leading customer strategy is key to success in this role. The Manager of Enterprise will be the aggregate voice of the customer and point of contact for complex, unique, and premier brands.


What you will do

  • Design and develop a strategy to retain and grow the top-end of our merchant base

  • Architect optimization plans alongside a team of experienced Sr Customer Success Managers

  • Propose, own and direct team-wide initiatives that directly impact the success of Customer Success

  • Track, measure and improve meaningful KPIs tied directly to OKRs based on team performance

  • Mobilize your team to deliver best in class experiences to their book of business.

  • Train and develop Sr Customer Success team members to build on existing knowledge and collaborate on solutions across all of Enterprise

  • Communicate clearly and succinctly to customers and stakeholders on Account Reporting: inclusive of Risk + Churn, Net Revenue Retention, Contract Coverage. 

  • Collaborate with connected teams to execute tactical implementation of cross-functional strategy.

  • Craft and report merchant revenue, brand experience, product feedback, and more internally at Recharge.  Champion your merchant portfolio’s needs on an aggregate.

  • Act as an internal advocate for our merchants by collaborating cross-functionally to voice their critical business needs and key results 

What you’ll bring:

  • 3-5 years of proven success in people management 

  • Experience working with Enterprise brands and portfolios exceeding $20M in ARR

  • Grit and a strong-desire to achieve business results 

  • A desire to iterate and continuously learn and grow

  • 5+ years of SaaS experience, ideally in Account Management or Customer Success

  • Strong leadership to enable, coach, and drive team members to action

  • A deep understanding of customer success best practices, particularly centered around growth and retention

  • Organized with Project Management Experience; properly orchestrate merchant needs internally & externally on the aggregate

  • E-commerce industry, tech-stack and knowledge of subscriptions

  • Experience with spearheading large scale initiatives that impact multiple teams

  • Expertise dealing with unexpected issues with out-of-the-box solutions

  • Established techniques in working with cross-functional peers to achieve company-wide objectives

Overview

The Community Engagement Strategist is crucial in cultivating long-term merchant relationships and fostering meaningful engagement within our community. As the strategic owner of Recharge’s merchant community, you will develop new programs, processes, and opportunities for partnerships with key merchants, industry influencers, and thought leaders, as well as enable merchant-to-merchant and merchant-to-Recharge communication.

What You’ll Do

Recharge Community Strategy and Management

  • Own the development and execution of Recharge’s digital community, fostering a lively merchant ecosystem.

  • Develop and maintain a program with high-impact ecommerce influencers to drive organic opportunities for Recharge promotion.

Ecommerce Events and Thought Leadership

  • Attend and represent Recharge at merchant-facing events, fostering networking and learning opportunities within the community.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Product Marketing team at Recharge. What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 4 years of Product Marketing and/or Account-Based Marketing experience, including a track record of developing Enterprise marketing programs. 

  • Involvement in competitive intelligence programs for a technical product. 

  • Experience partnering with Sales, SDR, and events teams for pipeline and revenue targets. 

  • Familiarity with CRM and MAP software (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot), ABM, and sales intelligence technologies (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, Apollo).

  • Experience supporting sales teams with 1:1 and 1:few campaigns and presentations.

  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail with a motivated, self-starter attitude.

Overview

  • Recharge is looking for a motivated Implementation Engineer to lead new and existing merchants through launch on Recharge’s platform or on new Recharge products. You will need to leverage your consultative, critical thinking, and people skills to support our Recharge merchants during their technical implementation.
  • The ideal candidate will be a project management master and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. You will need to collaborate cross functionally with  Sales, Partnership, Customer Success, Product, and Technical Support to get our merchants across the finish line and set up for growth with Recharge. You will also be asked to contribute strategically to the continued growth of the Implementation Team by identifying and driving opportunities for improvement as we aim to continually improve our implementation process.   
  • You will work with the various merchant stakeholders to confirm scope and drive the merchant towards their launch date, while also serving as a Recharge product expert. You will be required to properly identify and execute merchant priorities and overcome possible risks to the merchant’s projects, while maintaining a focus on Recharge's internal business objectives. A strong technical acumen is also essential as you will often interact with the merchant’s development resources and discuss both front-end development requirements and custom API workflows. 
  • With this role, you must share our passion for subscription commerce, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done.  You are equally comfortable in a business setting interacting with executives, as well as in a technical context talking about the ins and outs of the Recharge product.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a Recharge technical project manager and trusted guide to merchants during the post-sales implementations phase (whether implementing Recharge for this first or adding on a new Recharge product).
  • You will consult our merchants to understand their business needs and craft solutions that deliver value and drive growth via Zoom calls, emails and slack.
  • You aim to be a step ahead of objections but when they arise you handle them by providing tailored and actionable solutions. 
  • On both individual and company levels, you will drive impact by taking ownership. You will be accountable for the success of launching your book of business, will drive outcomes while communicating with urgency, while always having milestones and launch dates in mind. 
  • Prepare for and lead technical discussions with teams ranging from non-technical business stakeholders to software engineers
  • Consult and provide technical insight to merchants as an authority on recommended technical approaches & best practices for the merchant’s category and setup
  • Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving eCommerce industry and continually evaluate how to position Recharge during the implementations scoping process

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field
  • 2 years project management experience, preferably in the software space

Overview

The centralized Data and Analytics team at Recharge delivers critical analytic capabilities and insights for Recharge’s business and customers. 

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power internal business analytics and customer-facing data products.  Your work will empower data analysts to derive deeper strategic insights from our data, and will  enable developers to build applications that surface data insights directly to our merchants. 

What you’ll do

  • Build data pipeline, ELT and infrastructure solutions to power internal data analytics/science and external, customer-facing data products.

  • Create automated monitoring, auditing and alerting processes that ensure data quality and consistency.

  • Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models

  • Design, develop, implement, and optimize existing ETL processes that merge data from disparate sources for consumption by data analysts, business owners, and customers

  • Seek ways to continually improve the operations, monitoring and performance of the data warehouse

  • Influence and communicate with all levels of stakeholders including analysts, developers, business users, and executives.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines and models  to ingesting, transforming and delivery of large amounts of data, from multiple sources into a Dimensional (Star Schema) Data Warehouse, Data Lake.

  • Experience with a variety of data warehouse, data lake and enterprise data management platforms (Snowflake {preferred}, Redshift, databricks, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle,  RDS, AWS, GCP)

  • Experience building data pipelines, models and infrastructure powering external, customer-facing (in addition to internal business facing) analytics applications.

  • Solid grasp to data warehousing methodologies like Kimball and Inmon

Overview:

The Technology Partner Programs Specialist is responsible for managing the operations of our third-party integrations program (3pis). You will work closely with our Tech Partners who build integrations into Recharge, helping extend our product, solve merchant problems and foster the growing Recharge ecosystem.

In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for running the daily operations of our Tech Partner Program, providing resources and support at scale to our partners from the build, launch and scale phase of their integration. You will work closely with our Partner Enablement, RevOps, Technical Support, Product, Partner Marketing, and Analytics teams to provide a delightful experience for our third-party integrators. 

An ideal candidate will have industry and technical experience in ecommerce and any of the following previous experience: managing a large number of integrations, technical project management, experience in technical support or solutions engineering. You will help drive the needs and direction of our Tech Partner program, identifying opportunities to improve our program and better support our partners at scale. Come with a curious, validated learning, and build-for-scale mindset.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage relationships at scale with hundreds of vendors in the commerce ecosystem.
  • Create repeatable processes and documentation to support our tech partners successfully build, launch, and maintain their integration with Recharge.
  • Triage and respond to tech partner support tickets regarding technical bugs, Oauth errors, questions on how to best build their integration, and programmatic questions/problems.
  • Review and approve tech partner applications, and follow up with additional questions as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on product changes and liaise with various internal teams (Product, Engineering, Product Marketing) on changes and their impact on our 3rd party integrations. Identify and communicate to tech partner on product changes that will affect their integration, tracking changes and following up with each affected partner.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our tech partner experience at scale via documentation and self-serve module updates (Tech Partner Academy). 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of product development, technical support, technical project management, sales engineering or solutions engineering experience
  • Knowledge of APIs and OAuth
  • Experience working cross-functionally to help answer merchant (or vendor) technical questions/troubleshooting
  • You have experience with executing / managing programs or projects - you’ll manage multiple integration launches at a time. 
  • You can understand and empathize with our merchants’ pain points and how these pain points can be solved by their vendors working closely together.
  • You are somewhat technical (prior roles in sales engineering, technical support)
  • Experience creating content to serve an audience at scale (nice to have)
  • You move fast, and are not afraid to try things, fail, and learn from those failures.

Role Overview 

Join our Revenue team as a Sales Engineer and be a vital part of bringing our innovative subscription and retention solutions to market. 

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical resource during the pre-sales process, guiding technical sales discussions, conducting product demonstrations, and advising on best practices for implementing Recharge’s subscription and retention tools and best practices.

Role Overview 
We are seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the execution of our enterprise sales strategy in collaboration with our sales organization. Overview

In a Technical Support role for our Customer Success team, you are responsible for supporting our customers and delivering a world-class support experience. You work closely with store owners to troubleshoot and resolve issues via email, live chat, and occasional phone calls.

The Role

Our Solution Manager, Professional Services will have the opportunity to join a new function at Recharge: Professional Services. This function will be responsible for helping to deliver value to our biggest customers. As Recharge quickly scales up in the Enterprise space, the demand for these services has spiked. This role will be the key contributor responsible for interfacing with these merchants and our internal teams, independently driving solutions forward, and managing a team of solution engineers to deliver on the work.

The efforts from this role will help us establish a strong foundation with our enterprise merchants to drive a stronger Recharge enterprise narrative in the marketplace. This team has the chance to make sure that we are truly de-risking our biggest merchants using custom solutions and also addressing the massive enterprise opportunity.

What you'll do

  • Guide enterprise merchant efforts at Recharge across new and existing merchants
  • Build key relationships with merchants and at Shopify to maximize impact
  • Lead technical solution architecture design sessions during sales and launch to ensure we are maximizing the opportunity and efficiency of using Recharge in the merchant’s technical ecosystem
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on prioritized efforts focused on enterprise merchant feature needs
  • Lead efforts on proof of concept activities to enable efficient design conversations
  • Problem solve and support existing enterprise merchants with technical needs while guiding engineering resources to successful resolution
  • Own enterprise competitive analysis feedback loops in coordination with Sales and Customer Success
  • Create feedback loops and driving cross functional impact 
  • Define efficient, repeatable processes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Launch, Customer Success, Product, Engineering to communicate priorities, timelines, risks, solution definition to ensure deliverables are met, risk is minimized, and visibility to stakeholders is provided

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in a Product or Project role focused on eCommerce (Product Manager, Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, etc.)

Role Overview

The Rewards team at Recharge is responsible for building out and maintaining functionality that enables our merchants to engage, retain and reward customers. We own core functionality like our Credits and Customer services.

Role Overview

The Storefront Team at Recharge is responsible for storefront widgets and backend services. These inject Recharge features; Subscriptions, Bundles, and Loyalty benefits into our merchant’s checkout experience. They handle 2.5M+ sessions per day and are some of our highest scale components in our platform. Checkout performance is critical to driving merchant revenue. As a result our widgets require high performance and stability.

In addition to the front-end widgets, the team is also responsible for supporting back-end services consisting of SQL/document databases, a CDN, event-driven messaging systems and REST APIs.

What you’ll do

  • Speak with merchants to understand their problems

  • Partner with the engineering team to ship functionality that delights merchants, has the right balance of impact vs. engineering cost, and makes a measurable impact on the business

  • Validate product ideas, and prototypes with early adopters and beta testers

  • Define key success metrics for your features

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Account Management, Sales, and Partnership teams to launch new features and drive product awareness and adoption

  • Write product specifications that clearly document the current problem, the opportunity, the proposed solution, along with pragmatic milestones that optimize for speed over completeness

  • Build and manage a roadmap informed by qualitative feedback and quantitative data

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

  • Demonstrated success in building e-commerce products at scale, preferably in the Shopify ecosystem
  • 5+ years of product management experience shipping high-quality merchant-focused products

Overview

  • As a Staff Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our cloud network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical systems, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating potential security threats.
  • In this role, you will be a core contributor in ensuring the security of Recharge’s cloud platform. You will collaborate, both within and outside of your team to clarify, theorize, figure out, and decide solutions to complex problems.

What you’ll do

  • Network Security Architecture:
    • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
    • Create and maintain network and security documentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into network designs and implementations.
  • Firewall and Intrusion Prevention:
    • Configure and manage firewalls (including WAFs), intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, and other network security devices and/or tools.
    • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Vulnerability Assessment:
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure to identify and remediate potential security risks.
    • Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, applying proactive measures to protect against them.
  • Incident Response:
    • Maintain and continuously improve incident response plans, participate in tabletop exercises, and lead incident response efforts when necessary.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
  • Mentor other engineers on security configurations and best practices
  • Investigate, analyze and evangelize good security posture throughout the organization

What you’ll bring

  • Network security design experience and an an in-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Robust understanding of WAF technologies such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Google Cloud Armor, Imperva, etc
  • Experience configuring SIEM tools such as Splunk, LogRhythm, FileVault, etc
  • Extensive knowledge of Vulnerability Management practices
  • Understanding of virus and malware defense systems such as Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, Trend Micro, etc
  • Understanding of backup systems and disaster recovery planning
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to participate in a first line of support on-call rotation
  • Desire to work remotely and to make an impact

Experience/Credentials/Education

  • 10+ years of experience in network and/or security roles, with a focus on edge security tools
  • 2+ years experience with k8s, Helm, IaC, Terraform and Docker
  • 2+ years experience with Monitoring, Metrics and Logging (Splunk) solutions.
  • 5+ years experience in cloud-native environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, or equivalent

Overview

The Customer Success Department at Recharge is looking for an enterprise-ready Customer Success Manager who is driven, resourceful, and will use their consultative, critical thinking and people skills to support our Recharge merchants. The Customer Success team is critical to the success of our business and by working with an Enterprise-level portfolio of merchants, you will make an immediate impact building long term relationships and helping them drive business results.

  • Partner with our customers to understand their business objectives and goals, products purchased, challenges, technology stack, and more.

  • Leverage your customer relationships and product knowledge to ensure product adoption and generate upsell opportunities that support our customers’ growth.
  • Leverage Salesforce data, and other analytics platforms to build a deep understanding of your BoB’s business health and use that data to identify and resolve potential risk.
  • Engage in Quarterly business reviews with customers to build and continually update mutual success plans that align business goals to an effective growth strategy.
  • Through a consultative approach, be an advocate for support and product needs. 
  • Act as an internal advocate for our merchants by collaborating cross-functionally to voice their critical business needs and deliver solutions. 
  • Maintain clean data within our internal CRM and other systems to ensure that Recharge’s leadership team has accurate information to review.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3-5 years minimum of experience managing Enterprise SaaS accounts in a fast paced technology-driven company, ideally coupled with e-commerce experience.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with accountability for contract renewals.
  • Proven success using data and analytics to create practical insights to build customer strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication skills that can apply at all levels of organizations, especially C-level. 
  • Technical product aptitude with the ability to navigate conversations around complex technical concepts, but not full solutioning.
  • Excellent resourcefulness and an ability to prioritize competing requests from customers, while partnering internally with stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Experience with CRM tools, ideally direct Salesforce and Gainsight experience.
  • Ability to work remotely and desire to make an impact at a high growth company.

Senior BI Engineer


Recharge is positioned to support the best Direct-To-Consumer ecommerce brands in the world. We are introducing multiple products that provide merchants with the tools and insights to create optimal shopper experiences to drive their business growth. 


As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will run point on designing our BI infrastructure to scale performantly. You will work closely with business partners to understand data, business challenges, and deliver  data products that support the organization. You will learn Recharge’s business model, business vision and the associated analytical/reporting requirements. A successful candidate will be curious about the business and the data that enables it, indexing on initiatives that are tied to driving value for our customers.


You will be responsible for developing models, queries, data visualizations, and dashboards.

  • Proficient in model management, including troubleshooting errors and administrative requirements like user management

  • Experience in managing a BI semantic layer with multiple contributors with a focus on performance and usability

  • Experience in SQL and dimensional modeling in dbt 

  • Knowledge of data warehousing theory/practice, data management practices, data models, and relationships between data elements

  • Well-developed skills in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes

  • Energetic and self-motivated, willingness to learn and openness to change are important

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with all levels of the organization and cope with rapidly changing information

  • Consistently navigates ambiguous technical and business requirements while making flexible technical decisions

  • Payments and/or Ecommerce experience preferred
