Your Mission


Join our enthusiastic feature team of engineers and face the challenge to bring the threat detection and response platform of Open Systems to the nextlevel. As an Azure SRE Engineer in the Managed Detection and Response team, you will use your knowledge and experience to build modern solutionson the Azure platform. Your Responsibilities
Maintain a complete CI/CD tool chain used by internal development teams to build and deploy their code, apps and containers to Azure
Work with engineering on production deployments and help optimize the current Azure cloud footprint
Create and enforce deployment and operations standards and track adherence
Contribute to improving the security posture of our Cloud Platform
Resolve escalated incidents related to our CI/CD tools and Azure platform
Build and provide observability support for Azure platform solutions


Your Qualifications

   

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platform and GitHub toolset.
    3+ years of experience working with CI/CD solutions (preferably based on GitHub actions, ArgoCD, Artifactory).
  • Experience in setting up and managing containers.
  • Experience with microservices deployments (helm charts, blue green deployments) in Azure.
  • Experience with developing automation on Azure Platform using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Durable Functions, Event Grid, Rest API’s etc.
  • Develop cloud native solutions using REST APIs and other microservices.
  • Flexibility and willingness to carry out different roles, can work independently, self-motivated and problem solver.
  • Flexibility on working with teams with different time zones outside US.
  • Experience developing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities for the different components of the platform.
  • Experience with monitoring and responding to alerts and issues with ability to be on call as needed.
  • Open to work on weekends and holidays as needed. This would be a shift-based role and rotational work might be required.
    University degree in Information Security or Computer Science.
  • Bonus Skills and Experience with AWS Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Go, Python, Golang.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Has good understanding of tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Possesses familiarity with configuration management across a multi-platform estate such as Terraform, or ARM\Bicep Templates.
  • Experience working with backstage.io as a developer portal.
  • Experience working with mono repo and trunk-based development.

  • Maintain ongoing oversight of materials to ensure quality and accuracy of curriculum 
  • Work with the Product Development team, Technology team, instructors, and administrative leaders throughout the organization to ensure a cohesive approach to advance training materials development
  • Utilize technology and media to develop dynamic and engaging curriculum content
  • Design learning activities that are clearly presented, engaging, and use a variety of learning styles (visual, aural, kinesthetic (etc.) and instructors will find it easy to follow
  • Develop solutions (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, etc.) that provide relevant, challenging, and productive learning experiences. Finalize materials through reviews, pilot tests, etc.
  • Define, document, and maintain the scope of learning materials. Perform risk assessment and mitigation and communicate clearly inside and outside the team.
  • Research on new technical training offerings, upskill and take challenges to develop curriculum content and assessments
  • Complete special projects and requests as opportunities arise
  • Contribute to fine-tuning our content development process as we scale, and your work will ultimately deliver quality, reliable methods of measuring learners' progress nationwide.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US:
Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of work experience related to DevSecOps and Cloud Computing skillset.
  • Knowledge of DevOps culture, Agile/Scrum, and SDLC/STLC
  • Proficient in at least one Object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, Scala, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, containerization, SaaS/PaaS/Iaas, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of security basics, security configuration, and compliances
  • Familiarity and experience with Linux CLI and Shell scripting
  • Understanding and experience with Source Control and CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins)

  • Experience monitoring for defects and issues post-production, creating observability and logging strategies, and translating findings from production environments into actionable tests in development and staging environments.

  • Ensure that Imperva products are deployed and operating to meet customers’ expectations
  • Help customers plan out the details of their security initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership to Imperva’s customers on how to mature their security postures

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ability to scope, design, document and implementITsecurityrequirements
  • Self-starter and independent, but also able to work within a team environment, helping out when needed on various deployments
  • An aptitude for mastering new software applications
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately, both in writing and verbally
  • Highly motivated, driven and passionate about technology, training and customer success
  • Able to plan for and deliver a project on a specific deadline
  • Successful candidates will have at least two of the following:
    • Knowledge of databases such as MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Big Data or NOSQL platforms
    • Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and VMware ESX
    • Knowledge ofcloud technologiessuch asAWS, Azure, or Terraform

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Strong technical skills and solid experience working withinternetsecurity andrelationaldatabases
  • 5+ years of experience in aconsulting or similar position
  • Cloud certification (AWS, Azure,etc) a plus
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed
  • Fluent in English and Spanish -- both written and verbal—required; Additional languages highly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing and capable of working from home

Our team of Landing Zone Cloud Architects and Engineers helps in building clients’ Cloud Foundations. We work directly with customers and each of us must be able to explain technical content to people who might be less familiar with the technology.

Day-to-day work can be anything from evolving our Landing Zone solution, designing new foundational solutions or improving existing ones, gathering feedback from the client, deploying a new Landing Zone solution, supporting another team member in the deployment process, and supporting pre-sales engineers in a meeting with a client.

To us, delivering quality solutions is more important than just “getting the job done”.

Your skills and attributes of success:

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design, large multi-account/project/subscription environments
  • Expert knowledge of one of the following platforms: GCP, AWS
  • Understanding Cloud best practices in areas of Security, Governance, Compliance, Access management, Networking
  • Solid engineering/technical background/hands-on experience with conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions. A software engineering background is a plus
  • DevOps skills for leading a team and consulting the customer, experience with code testing, deployment validating
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform that builds infrastructural services - Connectivity, Security policies, Access Management
  • Fluent communication skills in English

Your daily work:

  • Supporting road mapping and designing the Landing Zone and Managed Landing Zone services
  • Following new cloud capabilities and maintaining backlog for our Landing Zone solution
  • Participating in various customer projects, from new infrastructure builds and migrations to audits of current environments
  • Supporting pre-sales meetings with customers
  • Implementing new Landing Zones
  • Giving workshops and designing recommendations to the internal technical team and a client
  • Being the trusted advisor for high profile enterprise business
  • Mentoring other team members
