What you'll do

For this role, we are looking for someone to work on our strategic partnerships team and help build the next generation of Cloudflare's products and offerings through innovative partnerships in collaboration with Product and Engineering. This role offers an incredible opportunity to make a significant contribution to a high growth company in a rapidly changing space.

Location: Remote, US

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ideate, discover and propose new product partnership opportunities leveraging Cloudflare's infrastructure and products to expand market share, increase developer adoption, and grow our direct revenue
  • Manage all aspects of partner integrations and product proposals, including design, validation, implementation, troubleshooting and educating internal stakeholders (Product, ENG & GTM)
  • Manage partner engineering support tickets and work with partners to ensure successful integrations and product adoption for strategic customers and partners
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering & GTM leaders to design and pitch strategic opportunities with customers.
  • Help architect and support new initiatives and strategic integrations with our product and engineering teams
  • Measure and track the success of group initiatives through metrics such as user engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue
  • Coordinate and manage technical dependencies across other Cloudflare teams
  • Generate awareness about Cloudflare’s strategic partnerships internally and externally
  • Develop, negotiate, and close agreements with new and existing partners

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience, in, or a combination of product management, partnerships, or technical roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field, or specific technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in the Cloud (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) and Security (DDoS, firewalls) ecosystems preferred.
  • An ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset that enables you to work independently with little guidance, but also work collaboratively across the org.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including product, Engineering, sales, and marketing teams, to establish effective partnerships.
  • The role can be remote based in the United States

The PreSales Partner Solutions Engineering organization guides Partners toward excellence as technical PreSales champions. As a member of the Partner Solutions team, you are a technical thought leader and trusted advisor. Partner Solutions develops technical Cloudflare champions within the Partner ecosystem, guides Partner technical sellers through their Cloudflare journey to build Partner Practices, and collaboratively celebrates joint successes.

What you’ll do as a Partner SE Manager 

You will play a pivotal role in driving our partner technical strategies, enhancing partner capabilities, and contributing directly to the success of our partnerships. In this player/coach role, you will guide Channel partners through their Cloudflare journey with your strong leadership, technical, and business acumen as well as lead, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Solutions Engineers to deliver technical coverage aligned with our Partner Program.

The Partner Solutions team will engage with Partners to provide PreSales technical support, guidance, and expertise, including leading technical discussions, demos, and presentations to partners and their clients. Your team will collaborate with partners on solution design, integration, and implementation, as well as provide hands-on technical assistance during offer development and integration.

To aid your team, you will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product, through to Engineering and Customer Support. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to work with our top tier customers and become their Trusted Advisor for their security and business goals. The successful applicant will have a track record of working with large enterprise organisations in driving business and technical outcomes through technology solutions, with experience in engaging at the C-level with Business and Technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Land an end-to-end value prop for web security & performance that spans the breadth of Cloudflare Product offerings.
  • Empower customers in their security adoption journey, helping them to define a secure strategy, 
  • Architecture of necessary security controls aligned with Cloudflare Security and Performance product suites
  • You will work closely with Account Executives to educate your prospective customers on how they can obtain success on the Cloudflare platform
  • Apply technical knowledge to architect security solutions that meet business, IT, Regulation and Compliance needs, infusing key security technologies where appropriate.
  • Be a Voice of the Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Engineering and Product teams at Cloudflare to remove blockers and influence the roadmap.

  • Value Realisation. Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and the ability to quickly leverage tech solutions to accomplish those outcomes.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of “how the internet works”. For example: Know the differences between TCP & UDP, and understand what kinds of applications may favor one over the other;

About the role

Our focus is getting the best people to work at Cloudflare and then allowing them to do their best work. What You Will Do Here: 

The People team at Cloudflare is growing. We want to find the best people to join our team and then help them to do their best work. As we continue to build our Business Partner team, we are looking for a People Team and Works Council Advisor who is naturally curious about what we do and driven to help our people thrive. Because Cloudflare’s network sits in front of so many websites, we regularly receive reports of abuse and legal requests relating to the customers for which we are an intermediary. We’re looking for a Senior Counsel to work closely with our Trust & Safety and Public Policy teams in shaping Cloudflare’s global approach to intermediary legal issues, our abuse processes, and our responses to criminal and civil requests for customer data.

The ideal candidate is comfortable confronting novel legal issues in a fast paced environment, while never losing sight of Cloudflare’s core principles. We’re looking for a self-starter who is enthusiastic to work as part of a great team building systems that must scale with a quickly growing company. As part of the job, you will: 

  • Work with the Trust & Safety team to further develop playbooks for addressing reports of abuse on Cloudflare’s platform, taking into account differences among the various services Cloudflare offers.
  • Assist the Trust & Safety team in identifying abuse reports raising novel issues, and coordinate across the Legal and Policy teams on responses.
  • Provide legal guidance to  Trust & Safety to help further develop Cloudflare’s policies and procedures for responding to legal requests for information.
  • Communicate with law enforcement, regulators, and civil litigants, and work with Cloudflare’s litigation team in opposing unlawful requests in court.
  • Provide advice to product and engineering teams to understand and proactively address new products from a Trust & Safety perspective.
  • Work with the Policy and Trust & Safety teams on communicating to the public about our approach, including through Cloudflare’s regular transparency reports.
  • Communicate with business leaders across the company about intermediary liability issues, and provide training and resources to address future legal risks.

You Have:

  • Admitted to practice law in the US
  • 8+ years of law firm, government, or in-house experience (preferably with technology companies). 
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, including, for example the Stored Communications Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and Section 230.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with NCMEC reporting requirements, registrar obligations, and experience with online copyright and trademark issues.

About the role

Cloudflare is looking for a Sr. Analyst Relations Manager to help scale our AR program. This is a great opportunity to work with Cloudflare’s communications team to continue to shape our global story around our Cloudflare One portfolio (SASE, SSE and Zero Trust), in a role with potential for growth. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic programs and initiatives with the industry analyst community. In this role you’ll get to work with a wide range of Cloudflare executives, product management, product marketing, and other technical leads to help further drive our market position; including effective communication of vision, strategy, product direction, customer success, and competitive position.

What you'll do

  • Execute on current AR Plan and evolve on strategy and expansion of analyst relationships into various markets.  
  • Communicate Cloudflare news to the analyst community and handle inbound analyst requests in a timely and effective manner, including surveys, inquiries, briefings and customers requests.
  • Drive program management of key reports surveys including Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Wave’s and IDC MarketScapes. Work with product marketing and sales leaders to develop sales enablement materials in support of major report placements.

About the role

The Director of Procurement – IT & Telecom will be responsible for Cloudflare’s global information technology and telecom spending of approximately $200 million annually across the entire footprint. Lead a team of Category Leaders responsible for strategic sourcing activities and supplier management functions. Develop a sourcing strategy aligned with functional / business objectives, build organizational strength, create robust sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, manage strategic supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement and year-over-year savings. Act as a critical business partner to the IT Leadership Team.

What you'll do

  • Act as the key global IT and telecom sourcing interface with all Cloudflare divisions, ensuring
    alignment of strategies and commitments.
    • Understand the company’s IT Strategy and Plan objectives, timelines, and goals. Align the
      Strategic Sourcing plans to enable IT investments and operations.
    • Analyze cross-divisional spend and develop global strategic sourcing plans to reduce the total

Team and Role Overview 

The Global GTM Planning and Operations team’s vision is to support Cloudflare’s high growth target through scaleable and optimized Global GTM planning and operations process framework and governance.  We intend to drive thoughtful planning of Sales capacity, Segmentation,Territory carving, Quota setting, Compensation design and ensuring clear Roles of Engagement across the Field roles. We are a nascent team and intend to establish a cohesive, consistent optimal process framework that can support high growth and optimized resource plan. 

As the Manager of GTM Planning & Operations, you will develop and manage the Annual Planning Fast Start initiative, and support deep analysis, define metrics required to make clear confident decisions and also support operations around territory disputes and policy. You will establish a strong collaboration with regional and global Sales Leaders and stakeholders, as well as work closely with the Revenue Operations and Finance GTM team members.  You will drive process design and implementation of an effective Annual Planning framework, proactively manage territory disputes, and mature operational practices. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical sales strategy/ops background along with equally strong stakeholder management skills and program management capabilities. The candidate will be required to develop planning models, manage projects and programs, and policy / content to enable the Sales Team for Fast Start Initiatives.  Last, the candidate should be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, be able to thrive working on fast paced projects, and influence without authority.

What you’ll do:

As the VP of Global Partners, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth through partnerships with key GSIs, Telcos, OEMs, Tech Alliances and MSPs across the globe. What you’ll do:

As the VP of Global Partner Experience, you will assess and measure our partners’ experience with Cloudflare while driving cross functional teams to develop and implement partner programs, incentives and GTM strategic initiatives.

About the Role

Cloudflare has embarked on a transformation of our entire quote to cash process. We’re looking for a seasoned product leader who will take charge of these processes, providing leadership, communication and accountability for successful delivery. You will: 

  • Take leadership. You will manage a small team of product managers ensuring coverage and accountability for the myriad projects across the organization. 
  • Work horizontally. Disparate groups like Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence and external vendors like Stripe and Salesforce all need to keep plans aligned and work together to deliver commitments.
  • Span timescales. Short term deliverables like supporting product launches, medium term ones like migrating billing progresses and longer term ones like a full ERP implementation all need to be serviced. The urgent cannot starve the important. 
  • Span domains. You need to simultaneously let other teams rely on the roadmaps you publish while being responsive to the interrupt-driven nature of the business. When shifts do occur, you need to proactively communicate with other teams to maintain trust. 
  • Commit to quality. Our #1 priority is to have an accurate picture of revenue and service of our customers but we also have numerous other concerns like speed of innovation and advancing the roadmap.
  • Communicate and collaborate. Essential to the success of this program is the ability to listen, learn, synthesize and communicate outwards as well as influence through persuasion.
  • Represent Cloudflare. Many of our largest customers want to speak to us about their concerns and our plans in the billing domain. You will spend time learning from them. 
  • Provide and demand accountability. You are responsible for the delivery of your commitments and you will hold your peers and subordinates accountable for theirs. 

Some of the domains you will touch include: Billing, Invoicing, Sales & Opportunity management, Credit & Collections, Pricing & Quoting, Contract & Entitlement Management, Partners & Resellers, Taxation, Bad debt, BI Reporting, ERP Implementation.

Success Factors

100% essential to taking on this role will be a history of success delivering projects within the financial domain. A history of product management in billing, fintech, financial reporting, compliance or other similar domain in companies with scope similar to or larger than Cloudflare is required. We will also only consider candidates who have successfully managed teams of other product managers in one of these domains. 

Bonus Points

  • Internet native companies tend to think a little differently than the Fortune 500. We’d love to meet folks with a history of delivering with the cadence and timescales of those born on the Internet. 
  • Engineering fluency - while it’s not required, we tend to find success with candidates who have a technical background, formal or otherwise. You don’t need a CS degree but building credibility with our engineering teams is critical and so some history of technical acumen would be super helpful
  • Finance fluency - You’re dealing with data that represents money and that implies a certain level of care. You’ll also be working with a lot of finance types. Fluency in this world might be helpful
  • At Cloudflare it’s pretty helpful to understand how the Internet really works at layers 2 through 7. If you don’t have this, be prepared to speak with mastery about another realm of similar complexity.

Engineering Manager - Speed

Cloudflare is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Speed team.

The Speed team builds technology to measure and accelerate web experiences on Cloudflare. Our mission is to help our customers’ websites get faster. The Speed team creates innovative new features like Fonts, Observatory and Speculation Hints, looks after mature systems at scale like Web Analytics, and manages a large pipeline of web performance data that can be used to help benchmark and improve other products.

As the engineering manager, you will play a key role in shaping the team’s strategy, working with other leaders and teams to build products that customers love, and that meet the team’s ambitious standards of quality, reliability, and scalability.

What you’ll do

The Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organisation is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap for our customers. About this Role

This role within the mid-market SMB segment focuses on both the acquisition of new commercial SMB accounts, as well as the expansion of existing SMB accounts.  The ideal candidate will have both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive customer engagement from technical professionals through to senior executive levels, and across Security, Network, Development and Infrastructure teams.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to achieve quarterly sales and annual revenue targets in a defined territory and/or account list.
  • Drive new business acquisition (new customer logos), customer expansion (upsell and cross sell Cloudflare solutions), and renewal within your territory.
  • Engage in account mapping sessions with partners, including training new partners on our technology and GTM strategies.
  • Developing scalable relationships with target partners, to expand partner ecosystem in a specific region.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline through continual engagement and nurturing of key prospect accounts.
  • Understand customer use-cases and how they pair with Cloudflare’s portfolio solutions in order to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services. Drive awareness through regular outbound campaigns on product and feature roadmap updates. 
  • Accurately forecast commercial outcomes by running a consistent sales process, including driving next step expectations and contract negotiations.
  • As a trusted advisor, build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, to ensure customer adoption, retention and expansion. Regularly evaluate usage trends and articulate value to show Cloudflare impact and provide strategic recommendations during business reviews. 
  • Network across different business units with each of your accounts, and multi-thread to identify and engage new divisional buyers.
  • Position Cloudflare's platform in each of your target customers, including Cloudflare One and the Connectivity Cloud to realize our full potential in every customer.
  • Operate internally as a liaison with cross-functional teams to share key customer feedback and insights to improve customer experience and further investments with Cloudflare.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of direct closing B2B selling experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
