Job Description

The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for owning the employee life cycle as it relates to the backend HR systems structure including: the entry and maintenance of employee data, providing payroll and systems support to ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.  The HR Operations Analyst will work directly with the HR, Payroll and Benefits teams, and partner with our Regional Operations team and hospital leaders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage data within ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN), this includes:
    • Processing entries throughout employee life cycle
    • Managing onboarding activities in conjunction with hiring managers and recruiting teams
    • Monitoring internal file feed communications for errors and correcting timely
    • Supporting the integration team with ADPWFN related tasks
    • Ensuring 100% accuracy, utilization of all required fields when entering information into ADPWFN
  • Perform monthly reconciliation and allocation of employee benefits
  • Respond to internal HR-data related inquiries or requests in a timely manner
  • Provide ADP support for Time & Attendance & PTO modules
  • Function as project support for all HR system upgrades and implementations
  • HR Compliance support:
    • Mandatory trainings, ACA, benefit invoices
    • Auditing personnel data within ADPWFN
  • Create process documents for the establishment of an adherence to HR best practices and procedures, and for responding to employee request for information
  • Resolve routine issues related to employment paperwork and processes in a professional and solutions-oriented manner             
  • Other duties as assigned

Non-Exempt Position

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HRIS or similar HR data focused role
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now

Job Description

Payroll Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead the Payroll function for a highly complex, fast growing veterinary services organization of 3500+ employees over 200+ veterinary practices across 100+ FEINs in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and internal controls (e.g., segregation of duties, teammate cross-training)
  • Manage and develop a team of 5-6+ Payroll Specialists and HR Operations/Data Analysts, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and continuous improvement work environment
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare quarterly ADP files for federal and state tax liabilities, and year-end reconciliation of 941 tax returns and Form W-2 totals
  • Work closely with Operations and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data and accounting queries
  • Resolve routine issues related to inefficient processes in a solutions-oriented manner

Job Description

The Veterinary Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing each individual practice manager and leading the hospitals across Alliance Animal Health’s network of veterinary hospitals in our growing region of the Mid-Atlantic area. You will work with the Regional Director, the Vice President of Operations, the Veterinary Partner Doctors and Practice Managers to enhance performance at their respective hospitals. You will also work with the Internal Operations team to lead implementation of initiatives and projects at the hospitals in your region.

This role/market is expected to support 13 hospitals. You will also be expected to grow with the region as Alliance Animal Health adds partner hospitals to the region.

Role & Responsibilities:

Leadership and management:

  • Directly responsible for overseeing and leading the practice managers at each hospital.
  • Responsible for working directly with the practice managers on the operations at the hospital, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources.
  • Act as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location and responsible for building a strong relationship with that doctor. Also responsible for partnering with them on the work you are doing with the practice manager and incorporating their feedback and goals in your work with each practice.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to review the financial reports with the practice leadership team and develop strategies for each practice.
  • Responsible for reviewing the non-financial reports (inventory budgets; scheduling budgets) and driving plans of improvement based on the results.
  • Responsible for the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.
  • Expected to travel to the practices 4 days per week and have 1 office day (but could be at practices 5 days a week as needed).
