INDG is hiring a Remote QA Automation Engineer (C#/TS)

About Grip

Grip (www.grip.tools) is web-based software that automatically produces visual content for physical goods. Grip supports brands to cope with the fast-accelerating challenge of the exponential grow and need for content. It’s based on photorealistic 3D, capitalising on INDG’s twenty-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps, and such.

One can imagine that Grip is rather complex: it needs to render things quickly and photo realistically which presupposes some heavy engineering. It is a sophisticated system and so it needs sophisticated engineering.

Right now, Grip is looking for a QA Engineer, remote, in Bucharest or in Amsterdam. Expats welcome!

QA Engineer @ Grip

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.

Joining Grip as our QA Engineer means you’ll no longer work on boring stuff like standard forms, labels, or bottoms, but on our exciting product where we combine technology with 3D.

What will you be doing?

• Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks,

• Integrate auto tests in CI/CD pipelines,

• Review and test project documentation (specifications, designs etc.),

• Create and support test documentation (test plans, suites, cases, check-list, test data),

• Defects management and monitoring,

• Test process improvement and implementation.

INDG is hiring a Remote Visual Quality Assurance

As our Visual QA for Grip, you will review and critique all the photo-realistic content that is created in our in-house 3D studio within e-commerce/digital marketing. You will follow the guidelines agreed with each client to ensure consistent, on-brand deliveries. With your product photography (digital or traditional) knowledge, you know what makes an image appealing and ensure we deliver the best quality to our clients, aligning on their creative strategy and brand identity.

Whats Grip?

Grip supports brands to cope with the fast-accelerating challenge of the exponential grow and need for content. Grip is web-based software that automatically generates visual content. It’s based on photorealistic 3D, capitalising on INDG’s twenty-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps, and such. Check out the website here.

This vision has worked quite well with clients: in less than two years, Grip won Coca-Cola, Nivea, Heineken, L’Oréal, and others. As you can imagine, working with these companies requires knowing why, when, and how they produce the thousands of visuals we've been trying to automate. Now, Grip is changing every day to accommodate the things we learn.

About INDG

INDG is the parent company of Grip. At INDG we develop technology that enables engaging, hyper-realistic digital product experiences. Our goal is to make "every product playable", by combining the science of technology with the artistry of computer-generated content. Our offices are in Amsterdam and Bucharest, and we have an ever-growing team of remote workers from different areas of the world – the US, Singapore, Brazil, South Africa... Clients include Adidas, The North Face, Hillrom, Yamaha, Philips and more. Our CG artists, interactive designers, and developers focus on creating virtual versions of our clients' products, so lifelike it feels like you could reach out and touch them. Our culture brings together creative, tech and business individuals. It’s a heady cocktail that keeps us inspired, empowered and passionate.

Jodel will be closing the gap to easily share a togetherness with all the people you see in the physical world. As this works in your hometown, so it does when moving somewhere else. Whenever you’re travelling, you can be certain there are people around you that wonder about the same things. Is it still worth it to go to the Full Moon party here in Ko Pha-ngan or what are the best tricks for negotiations on the Marrakech market? And maybe, one day, you think about moving to New York so you teleport to its local feed and explore.

Come as you are!
At Jodel everyone is welcome, regardless of gender identity, nationality, age, disability status, sexual orientation or religion. Jodel is an equal opportunity employer and believes that a great working environment reflects a diversity of backgrounds, experience, talent and thoughts. We will not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on any of these characteristics. All you need is a passion for local communities and a desire to be part of a fast growing startup.
