About the Role

SonderMind is looking for a Mobile Technical Lead with a passion for digital health solutions and a track record of developing impactful native mobile applications. In this role, you’ll lead a talented, distributed team of mobile developers, fostering collaboration and innovation to push the boundaries of what our mobile technology can achieve. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be pivotal in shaping the future of mental healthcare delivery, working closely with product, design, and engineering to prioritize, define, and execute our technology roadmap. This is your chance to spearhead a team that’s at the forefront of making mental health care accessible through technology.

Essential Functions 

  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and robust native mobile applications. 
  • Work with a small, distributed team of mobile developers; coordinating project delivery and ensuring adherence to high-quality coding practices. 
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering Management to define project scopes and deliverables, ensuring timely and impactful product releases. 
  • Engage in hands-on coding, review pull requests, and contribute to the code base. 
  • Champion the implementation of best practices in code quality, testing, and code reviews. 
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and frameworks to enhance application performance and user experience. 
  • Ensure the mobile team aligns with overall business goals and technology strategies.  

What does success look like?

Success in the initial stages involves quickly assimilating into the SonderMind culture, understanding the existing mobile infrastructure, and forming solid relationships with the mobile team and cross-functional partners. Continued success means driving the team’s technical decisions to deliver innovative mobile solutions that deliver high engagement and positive clinical outcomes for our users, measured by project delivery times, application stability, user satisfaction, and team engagement metrics.

 

Who you are? 
Skills, experience, and education that is needed for this person to be able to succeed in this role 

  • 7+ years of experience in native mobile application development (iOS or Android), with a portfolio that showcases deep technical expertise and innovation. 
  • Proven experience leading a distributed development team, with excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. 
  • Proficient in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin, with a deep understanding of mobile architecture principles. 
  • A strong advocate for clean code, automated testing, and continuous integration/delivery practices. 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. 
  • Passionate about mental health and using technology to make a difference. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver on shared objectives.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000-180,000 per year.

The Role

As a senior engineer at The Dyrt, you will be tasked with building a robust, maintainable app experience for millions of campers who use The Dyrt every year.

Our current mobile frontend is built mostly with React Native. Work varies from building highly interactive tools, like our search page and Route Planner, to focusing on dynamically generated pages based on backend data and page performance on our campground listings. In this position we will be looking to you for experience, knowledge, and the confidence to make the case for what each situation merits in order to provide an ideal experience for our users.

Our solution also includes a next.js web front end, and a ruby/rails back-end. Experience in these areas would be a major advantage.

You’ll be working on a team with 2-3 other frontend developers and collaborating closely with our Backend, Product, CTO, and Design teams.

This position will report to the Head of Engineering.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have at least 4 years professional experience developing web or mobile apps with React Native
  • Having 4+ years professional experience with modern component-based frameworks like Next.js, React, or Vue are a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own requirement analysis completely along with the team
  • Define the longer-term technical vision for scaling and maintaining our mobile frontend codebase
  • Evaluate tooling and automation, recommend uplifts as necessary to maintain roadmap and quality goals
  • Lead execution on new features and improvement projects
  • Translate comps and wireframes into architecture and component execution and delivery plans
  • Estimate complexity and divide up tasks when new projects are brought to the team

Experience and Requirements:

  • Have at least 4 years professional experience developing web or mobile apps with JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like Next.js, React, React Native, or Vue
    • React Native: Experience and an understanding of developing with and debugging React Native and the Node Package Management
    • Android app development: Some proficiency with Android App development and tools. Experience with the Google release process and setup of the Android Development Environment
    • iOS app development: Some proficiency with iOS App development and tools. Experience with the Apple release process and setting up the iOS Development Environment which is a lot more involved than Android. Proficiency in Certificate management and renewals
    • Git: Some mid-level skills such as rebasing, resolving merge conflicts, and reverting merges. A firm understanding of Github including gitflow and trunk-based development practices
    • Bitrise: Familiarity with automated build systems such as Bitrise (or Jenkins)
    • CSS: Experience doing UI work with CSS
  • Take pride in writing easy to understand, maintainable code
  • Maintain and enhance existing code quality, organization, and automation
  • Have strong writing and communication skills for documenting technical requirements and coordinating with other teams
  • Provide constructive feedback on pull requests and are enthusiastic about mentoring junior developers on the team

The Role

The Dyrt is seeking a talented Quality Assurance professional with both mobile app and website testing experience to join our team as we solve exciting new problems in the outdoor space. In this role, you’ll be working to validate that our software meets the given requirements and quality standards, and report on the overall state of software quality for our entire solution.

This position will support multiple development teams and projects and report to the Head of Engineering. You will directly interact with 6 other engineers, the product manager, the design team, and the support team.

  • Write test automation for new and existing features

Experience and Requirements

  • 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance in either a manual or automation-heavy environment
  • A fundamental understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance terminology, methods, and tools (Jira, Confluence, Github Actions, Branches, commits, pull requests, Local Branch management)
  • A strong knowledge of app, web, and cloud technologies
  • A solid understanding of what information should be included in Bug Reports - log files, network captures, screen captures, steps to reproduce, etc. Creating, Moving and Linking tickets.
  • Experience with native mobile app testing, devices, and debugging tools on both Android and iOS (Side loading apps / files, Native System Settings, Simulators/Emulators, Testflight, Capturing screenshots/videos)

  • Documentation and Planning experience (Writing test documentation, creating test plans/cases/scenarios)
  • Familiarity with Google Office suite (Google Drive / Spreadsheets / Docs / Slide)
  • Experience with Release Management (publication, communication, verification).

  • Work closely with the Customer Support and Product/Engineering teams to track reported issues to ensure follow-up and regular communication with the study sponsor/site staff.
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to ensure the quality of clinical trials and data analysis. 
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials in collaboration with Customer Support and Marketing.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP and US and OUS guidelines).
  • Participate in project and departmental team meetings. 
  • Track and record safety concerns and adverse events/SAEs.
  • Participate in product improvement activities (information gathering, requirements, cross-functional meetings) that meet our customers’ needs. 
  • Understand diabetes and comorbid conditions.
  • Special projects as assigned



Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Excited to work on a team that cares deeply about helping those living with chronic conditions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with 1-2 years of experience in clinical trials.  
  • Knowledge of digital health solutions and applications is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the clinical research process is preferred.

Job Description

The iOS Mobile Developer Experience (MDX) team at Block builds and maintains infrastructure and tooling enabling iOS development at Block to be fast and efficient at scale. This is a high force multiplier team tasked with supporting and improving the developer experience for all iOS developers at Block. We’ve invested heavily in Bazel as the foundation of our build tooling and leverage technologies such as Remote Build Execution and Remote Caching across local and CI environments.  You'll be part of a team on the cutting edge of iOS build engineering contributing  heavily to open source Bazel projects, participating in the Bazel iOS community, and ensuring tooling works seamlessly across CI and developers’ local environments.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Experience working with Bazel in a production environment and optimizing Bazel builds for large-scale projects
  • Experience using the iOS toolchain for generating build and test artifacts (i.e. xcodebuild, clang, swift, ld, actool, ibtool, codesign)
  • Familiarity with iOS specific Bazel rulesets (rules_ios, rules_apple, rules_swift) and the app development process on Apple-based hardware
  • Experience working within large scale codebases and CI infrastructure
  • Strong foundation in software engineering and excellent mentorship skills
  • A passion for accelerating the development velocity of other engineers and improving their developer experience as part of a larger team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary front-line support as a Tier 1 Customer Support Specialist

  • Immediately escalate technical issues and bugs to Tier 2 Customer Support Engineers
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to find solutions to customer issues

  • Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times
  • Obtain and share customer feedback with colleagues and other departments so that products and services can be improved
  • Familiarize yourself with new products and services as they are introduced

  • Provide assistance with training for new Customer Support hires
  • Help create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation

Must-haves:

  • Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-6pm PST

The base salary hiring range for this position is $108,900 to $189,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

Issu d’une formation supérieure en informatique en cours de validation (Bac+5), vous êtes à la recherche d’un stage de fin d’études d’une durée de 4 à 6 mois.

Description du poste

Ronan, Responsable des opérations, est à la recherche d’un Leader Technique pour renforcer et accompagner le développement de ses équipes Rennaises. 

Vous vous sentez l’âme d’un tech lead (ou d’un tech lead en devenir) ? Vous souhaitez participer au développement de notre agence avec une dimension cross-projets ?  

Au sein de votre équipe :  

  • Vous définissez l’architecture technique et optimiser la performance des solutions en t'appuyant sur les architectes en place.   

  • Vous préconiser et concevez les solutions techniques adaptées à la stratégie du client.   

  • Vous accompagnez les développeurs lors de la réalisation de projets, auditer les solutions mises en œuvre et le code développé.    

  • Vous assurez un rôle de conseil, de formation et évangéliser les savoir-faire.  

  • Vous contribuez à la montée en compétences technique des collaborateurs du pôle  

  • Vous participez à l'animation technique de l’agence  

Vous avez une bonne connaissance dans l’une ou plusieurs de ces technos :    

  • NodeJS (NestJS)ou Java (spring boot) API Rest 

  • Front-end : Développement Angular, VueJS  ReactJS ...  

  • Mobile : Android, IOS, React-Native

Qualifications

Vous êtes issu d’une formation supérieure en informatique et avez une expérience minimale de 3 ans dans la conception et réalisation d’applications web, mobile ou métiers.  

Attaché à la qualité de ce que vous réalisez, vous faites preuve de rigueur et d'organisation dans la réalisation de vos activités. 

Doté d'une bonne culture technologique et digitale, vous faites régulièrement de la veille pour actualiser vos connaissances.
