The Role

We are seeking a hard-working Staff Financial Analyst, FP&A responsible for partnering with leaders in the CPO organization, including performing variance analysis, forecasting, and creating and distributing monthly and quarterly financial reports. This role will be a crucial member of the Corporate FP&A team focusing on developing financial materials for internal partners, reporting on financial and operational metrics, and supporting the overall planning and forecasting process in alignment with our segment leaders.

This role will develop and support critical pieces of our reporting infrastructure, including internal reporting, FP&A, and budget development regarding Mozilla’s resources. To succeed, you will need to develop creative solutions to abstract strategic problems, deliver your work in a compelling format, and balance big picture thinking with outstanding attention to detail. This position requires a results-oriented self-starter who can work comfortably with business partners across the organization, take tasks from start to finish, and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment!

What You Will Do

  • Assist in the management of our near and long-range forecasting model, including consolidations, scenario planning, reporting, variance analyses, etc.
  • Establish and build strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships with global partners to provide decision support
  • Build financial models and analyze monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range outlook; identify implications and sensitivities of these scenarios to overall P&L
  • Facilitate ongoing spending reviews with finance and operations partners to monitor business commitments toward goals
  • Build and maintain reporting that delivers accurate and insightful information to the management team with speed and reliability
  • Assist in preparation of Board financial materials & exhibits for committees, including monthly and quarterly board and executive reports
  • Ensure changes from planning are communicated, tested, and implemented with a direct partnership with business partners and the broader organization
  • Participate in driving the transformation of legacy finance reporting to new tools and constructs in support of advancing FP&A's directive
  • Coordinate with accounting team on month, quarter, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reports
  • Maintain an understanding of both the fine details and abstract implications of the above types of work

What You Bring to the Role

  • Minimum 3+ years experience of independently managing budgets and forecasting
  • Experience using planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Experience with Netsuite highly preferred, Workday a plus
  • Must exhibit ability to create compelling visualizations and presentations
  • Involvement with month-end close and a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Deep understanding of 3 statement financial modeling and accounting concepts
  • Flexibility (open to change) and ability to learn on the fly
  • Candidates must possess substantial experience with financial modeling and advanced spreadsheet and data modeling skills (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc) – to develop sophisticated and scalable models
  • Familiarity with Looker a plus, with ability to take on, and succeed with, a diverse array of projects that require varying skills
  • Strong attention to detail; analytical and inquisitive nature
  • An appetite to take on increased responsibility and grow your career
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through creating fellowship
  • Bachelor degree in finance or business with 5+ years’ experience in Corporate FP&A

About this team and role:

The Add-ons organization at Mozilla is responsible for managing an ecosystem that spans from software through policy and security, services for software and content delivery, communications and editorial, all while servicing a large community of developers, enterprise companies and end users.  

Within Add-ons, the “AMO” (addons.mozilla.org) team owns our user and developer facing Add-ons marketplace, the Web Extensions team is responsible for Firefox extensions APIs, the Add-ons Operations team is responsible for operations and security of the Add-ons Ecosystem, and Add-on Community Experience Team ensures the experience of developing and using add-ons is as delightful, rewarding, and engaging as possible.

The Senior Engineering Manager leads the Firefox Add-ons organization. The Role

As a Mid-Level German Copywriter with a focus on Social Media Content, you will build compelling and engaging copy that resonates with Mozilla's distinctive voice across our social media channels. You will play a meaningful role within our European marketing team, improving engagement and conveying our fundamental values to the German-speaking community. Reporting to the Associate Art Director for Social Media, you will be a key member of our European Creative Studio team. You will work closely with the Studio team as well as the Comms team who are accountable for Mozilla's Social Media Channels.

You Are:

  • Adept at crafting engaging, concise, and persuasive copy specifically tailored for our German social media channels.

Your Professional Profile:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, German Language and Literature, or a related field.
  • You bring 4+ years of dedicated experience in copywriting, with a significant focus on content creation for social media.
  • You possess an excellent command of the German language (native level) and are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • You demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams in a remote work environment.

The Role

As the Associate Creative Lead Visual Design for Mozilla's European marketing team, you will support the creative vision for our social media and marketing communications across Germany, France, and other European markets. Working under the Head of Creative Studio Europe, you'll manage a team of 2 to deliver on-brand social media content on a daily basis. You will also support in ensuring brand consistency and an cohesive and engaging experience that attracts and connects our audience to Mozilla and products like Firefox. Your role is vital in setting the design direction and maintaining high-quality creative outputs, driving the strategic presentation of our brand across all digital and consumer-facing touchpoints. You will work closely with the Studio team as well as the Comms team accountable for Mozilla's Social Media Channels.

You Are:

A creative visionary with:

  • 6-7 yearsof experience in graphic design and art direction, ideally within a marketing or advertising context.
  • Strong skills in Graphic Design, Storytelling and Creative Strategy.
  • Proof of management experience of at least 3 years.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, capable of leading a team under pressure.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in social media and full-funnel marketing campaign design.Not only Brand Design, UX/UI or Motion!

You Will:

  • Brand Consistency:Uphold brand consistency across all projects, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our brand identity, values, and messaging standards.
  • Project Oversight:Oversee the creative lifecycle of social media campaigns, from concept development through execution, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Head of Creative Studio and Head of Communication Europe and to align creative and comms strategies and executions with broader marketing objectives.

Your Professional Profile:

  • Fluent in German, with exceptional copywriting review and script supervision capabilities for German.
  • Proficient in English (our workplace language is English, but your focus will be on content for Germany and France. French language skills are a plus but not mandatory
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Creative Lead or creative leadership, specifically within a social media context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field
  • Comprehensive experience and a robust portfolio, including social media and marketing campaign design.
  • Experienced visual design skills online and offline: typography, composition, color, accessibility and design systems
  • Experience art working, crafting and shipping printed marketing and digital marketing for consumer facing products
  • Excellent collaboration, communication & time management skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing small creative teams

About this team and role:
 
We’re growing the Mozilla Ads product team, focused on display advertising in Mozilla products that is privacy-respecting and values-aligned. You will be responsible for designing, building, and owning the core systems, both front-end and back-end, that support advertising in clients (Firefox, MDN, Pocket, Fakespot, etc). You and your team will be the subject matter experts when it comes to advertising, providing guidance and shepherding to various product teams across Mozilla.

  • Design and deliver long term projects that impact multiple teams across Mozilla and that support the Mozila Ads system

About this team and role:

As a Senior UX Content Designer (UX) at Mozilla, you’ll work with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to define, design, and iterate on the content strategy within Mozilla’s security and privacy products we build. You will advocate and craft the content for products, services, and systems that put the needs, desires, and aspirations of people at the center. You’ll work closely with other content strategists to deliver consistent, easy to understand experiences.

The Firefox team is a community of engineers who care deeply about delivering the fastest, friendliest, most usable browser possible. We are responsible for making the things you see in the browser work securely, quickly, and well! The Desktop integrations team focuses on updates, installs, supervising and integrating Firefox with different operating systems. The team uses desktop Operating System and alternative surface APIs to improve Firefox's integration and usage.   • Technically manage the Thunderbird release process, including:
    • Planning the release schedule
    • Approving patch uplifts

    • Ensuring the smoothness of the release and distribution process to end users.
  • Lead and mentor our build and release engineers, fostering their growth through direct management while demonstrating a passion for coaching and nurturing their development.

  • Manage QA release qualification and coordinate with security, localization, and engineering to ship beta and release builds.

Firefox’s Product Management team is looking for an experienced Senior Staff ML Product Manager to shape and lead our vision for delivering high-quality and relevant experiences to our users. In this role, you will drive the design and integration of new recommendation systems into high-visibility surfaces like the Firefox home page and work cross-functionally to identify and build features for existing products as well as define new product strategies.  

As a Senior Staff ML Product Manager for the Firefox New Tab team, you will contribute to shaping the vision for delivering more relevant and personalized content and experiences to our users in line with Mozilla values.   • Collaborate with other Product Managers and XFN team members to deliver your strategy.
  • Partner with product teams across the company to integrate ML models and experiences in other product surfaces.
  • Establish clear success metrics and measuring outcomes to track the effectiveness of your initiatives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and teams from across the organization to develop and maintain the product roadmap.
  • Use agile practices, including augmenting, refining and prioritizing backlogs and verifying sprint deliverables.
  • Evolve and build an impactful product culture, directly contributing to our product management best practices.

What you’ll bring:

We think you’ll be a particularly good fit if you’re excited by machine learning and are passionate about responsibly building user-centered solutions. You’re a self-starter who is motivated by seeing the fruits of your ML-labor in production. You wouldn’t be adverse to the team publishing an industry paper or two after you’ve shipped.

  • 8+ years of experience as a product manager of digital products
  • 2+ years of experience delivering products in one or more of the following areas:
    • A heavy ML modeling component
    • ML-first user experience
    • ML-Platform
    • MLOps
  • Strong analytical ability, both numerical and generally - you can process lots of information and prioritize / analyze it to advise product development.
  • Excellent communication, execution, and leadership skills.
  • An understanding of ML development best practices.
  • Appreciation for user privacy, particularly around personalization.
  • A passion for building ML-powered products with exemplary user experience.
  • Understanding of sophisticated data management problems, and related machine learning techniques.
  • Comfort driving complex projects from start-to-finish, with multiple partners from diverse subject areas.  Experience integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
  • Technical know-how combined with an inherent appreciation of good user experience.
