About this team and role:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective training programs in a scaling tech company. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on upskilling our workforce, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting our culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Needs Assessment:  Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skills gaps and develop tailored training solutions in partnership with People Partners
  • Training Program Development:  Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with company goals and support the development of technical and interpersonal skills.

About this team and role:

Be part of a collaborative team focused on making the browser smarter and enhancing user productivity. As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll work with talented cross functional teams to drive initiatives like search enhancements, sidebar improvements, AI/ML integrations, and review checker functionality. Join the global DOM: Core team of engineers passionate about the Web. We are the team responsible for page navigation, document loading, event handling, user interaction, and text editing in Gecko, the engine behind Firefox. About this team and role:

The OS integration team is a cross-disciplinary team in charge of improving and maintaining Firefox on its various supported operating systems. We make sure it is a first-class citizen that integrates well with the desktop and supports new features offered by the operating system. Firefox is a sophisticated cross-platform application, and we deal with the operating system specifics. We work on things like crash reporting, interactions with third party software, sandboxing and hardening techniques, and investigate crashes. We develop close to the machine on low-level topics such as browser performance, security, Inter Process Communication (IPC), memory allocators, and power usage. We also maintain the integration with graphical widget libraries on the various operating systems.

What is a Staff Software Engineer at Mozilla?

About this team and role:

Mozilla IT is seeking an outstanding HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) manager  who has extensive experience with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions and other HR related systems, and will be responsible for ensuring that our HRIS systems meet the strategic and operational needs of the organization and provide leadership for our Workday Application Engineer team members. Someone who enjoys working with different teams and determining the best solution to address their needs and make them more successful. Someone who is passionate about learning and innovation, loves to experiment to find the best way to solve customers’ problems. You will evaluate the needs of a business and be part of a team responsible for reshaping the systems that meet those needs.

What you’ll do: 

  • Serve as a key HRIS applications resource, leading the design, architecture, implementation and deployment of new functionality ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of the configuration, customization, and deployment of Workday modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation (Advanced), Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent Management, and Absence).

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize HRIS processes to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for application usage across the organization.

  • Collaborate with the People Team and other departments to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Architect and lead HRIS-related projects, including planning, execution, deployment and monitoring.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Oversee data integrity, security, and compliance within the HRIS systems.

About this team and role:

We are seeking an expert marketeer to lead our marketing efforts in Europe, aligning with our global strategy while tailoring approaches to the diverse consumer and community demands of some of Mozilla’s focus markets particularly Germany, UK and France. We are seeking a new Program Manager to join the Pan Mozilla team working on the AI 360 workstream. In this role, you will develop effective project and program management systems for AI 360, a crosscutting program that acts as the connective tissue among all the AI activities happening across Mozilla Foundation, Mozilla Corporation, Mozilla Ventures and Mozilla AI. AI 360 aims to also explain this set of activities to the world, make links between them and measure their collective impact and progress over time. As part of this mandate, you will help lead events and programs intended to engage leaders in the open source and Trustworthy AI community including startups, non profit labs, civil society, academia and tech partners.Reporting to the hiring manager, you will work closely with other program managers leading Pan Mozilla workstreams. Specifically, you will provide strategic support to the Senior Advisor to the President and Lead of AI 360 in running the AI360 workstream.

Program Management 

  • In partnership with the project lead, drive the successful implementation and impact of AI360; maintaining accountability for the internal and external projects within the portfolio
  • Lead planning, systems design, and implementing team processes related to AI360
  • Coordinate activities across AI360 activities to ensure strategic alignment with team and organizational priorities
  • Manage the AI inventory and help create connections among various teams working on AI
  • Visualize these and disseminate updates to the larger org
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers and the Associate Chief of Staff to develop and implement strategies and systems for how we utilize data and metrics to evaluate the impact of our programs
  • Work collaboratively with the team and others across the organization to track progress against program goals, and facilitate program reporting and evaluation
  • Drive momentum and support for new AI360 initiatives; effectively engaging with external partners and key decision makers on critical matters

About this team and role:

The Manager of Data Science, Advertising at Mozilla will lead the data science efforts related to our advertising initiatives. You will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing ad performance, and ensuring that our advertising strategies align with our ethical standards. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of data science in the context of digital advertising.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing data science team focused on Mozilla’s growing advertising products and business, ensuring that we build an ads business that strikes the right balance between protecting user privacy, diversifying Mozilla’s sources of revenue, and serving our advertisers
  • Drive our efforts to utilize data to inform and optimize ad targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign performance, including the development predictive models and algorithms to enhance ad personalization while maintaining user privacy
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and lead the development of the metrics and reporting that enables stakeholders to become increasingly self-sufficient in this capacity
  • Lead the development and deployment of experimentation and measurement frameworks to demonstrate and continually increase the effectiveness of our ads products
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape and deliver our ads strategy and roadmap
What you’ll bring:
  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on digital advertising
  • Experience with ad tech, programmatic advertising, and the digital media ecosystem
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling data science teams
  • Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and SQL
  • Strong understanding of privacy-preserving technologies and their application in advertising
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for non-technical partners.

The Role 
Mozilla is looking for a PR Manager (agency level equivalent) to join our Communications team and help us drive storytelling to reach target audiences in key European markets, with a specific focus on Germany. In this role, you will support the development of our consumer/lifestyle PR strategy and be responsible for its implementation, as well as develop compelling media stories and relationships to relevant media outlets. Working under the Head of Communications for Europe, you will work closely with the European and Global Comms team to cut through the noise in mainstream media and create opportunities to creatively position our brands and initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling and is able to distill creative ideas and complex stories into compelling narratives. A robust understanding of the media landscape in Germany is essential. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Drive implementation of our European communications strategy with significant focus on the German market, as well as consumer and lifestyle media
  • Proactively develop ideas and opportunities for creative storytelling and support the press office team with incoming media inquiries
  • Establish and nurture relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing/Communications team to identify trends and possible proactive pitches and predict reactive statements as needed
  • Coordinate organization and updating of press materials, statements/FAQs etc to team and spokespeople, as well support with development of messaging
  • Support event planning and execution in Germany
  • Help to maintain our communications calendar and proactively identify relevant events and moments in time we can drive proactive storytelling around
  • Drive reporting and measurement for PR activities, including tracking media opportunities and compiling internal reports that showcase our communications work
Your Professional Profile 
  • 3-5 years of proven professional experience in communications and media relations
  • Excellent writing, organizational and communications skills
  • Prior experience in creative storytelling, media relations and development/implementation of integrated communication campaigns
  • Self-starter with solid understanding of the media landscape and what makes a good story
  • Strong understanding of marketing and communications strategies and channels
  • Experience in consumer and lifestyle driven campaigning is a plus

About this team and role:

The Desktop Engineering team are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to work on the new tab page, which is a key surface that Firefox users experience many times a day as a starting point to their browsing journeys.

Our team is geographically-distributed, and working in the open is the norm. We contribute to the code driving the Firefox browser on a number of desktop platforms - Windows, Linux, and macOS.

What you’ll do: 

  • Build high quality user interfaces for Firefox with accessibility and usability in mind
  • Write code and tests, build prototypes, tackle problems with no clear solution, collaborate with other designers and engineers to make the web a better place
  • Learn about a wide variety of problems and solutions across a large, mature codebase
  • Work with cross functional teams, building relationships and fostering collaboration to reach shared goals
  • Help to level-up the skills of your fellow engineers through code reviews, giving talks, and/or writing documentation
  • Promote and maintain high standards of code-quality, focusing on performance, testing, security, usability, accessibility and maintainability
  • Work with driven, committed team members to bring the open web to people around the world
  • Contribute to improving engineering practices and procedures

What you’ll bring: 

  • 4+ years experience as a software engineer
  • You have a background in shipping high quality software
  • 3+ years working experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Interest in and ability to work with a distributed team (requires good asynchronous written communication skills as well as good verbal communication skills)
  • Happy to provide and receive constructive feedback

About this team and role:

Mozilla’s New Product group is a fast-paced organization of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-minded individuals. We build new products from the ground up, explore methods of investment and acquisition and experiment quickly to solve exciting problems for people that can form the basis of new Mozilla businesses.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead a small dynamic team, often beginning with just two people, to explore and bring new concepts to life through rapid iterations and prototyping. You should be comfortable leading product across all stages of the early product lifecycle from discovery through launch and initial growth.

We are looking for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, has startup experience and a track record of delivering, and can navigate the unique challenges of building 0 to 1 products.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify a new Concept:Identify compelling problems to solve and ideate on potential solutions.
  • Product Vision & Strategy:Lead and own the end-to-end product lifecycle for new product initiatives, from concept through launch, early traction, and iteration. Set clear goals for product success, ensuring alignment with Mozilla’s mission and strategic vision.
  • Customer Discovery:Conduct market research and user interviews to identify unmet needs and validate product ideas.

  • Data-Driven Decisions:Continuously gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure product performance, iterate on features, and drive improvements.

What you’ll bring:

  • 9+ years of product experience, with recent experience developing 0 to 1 products preferably in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
