Job Description

  • Building open communication with Product Owners, Software QA Engineers, Software Engineers, Project managers to understand and transform software engineering and IT process requirements into automated features;
  • This job can require 24/7 availability for deployments, maintenance activities from time to time due to the nature of the project or work activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; with 3+ years of industry experience including project management or systems analysis or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;

Must have:

  • Linux certifications like RHCSA, RHCE.
  • AWS certification like SAA/SOA or relevant experience;
  • Working with AWS in a serverless context (Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, APIGateway, Cognito, etc).
  • Professional skills in designing & deploying scalable, highly available, cost-effective, fault-tolerant systems & infrastructure at on premises and AWS using EKS Fargate, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, ELB, VPC, EBS, Route 53, Auto-Scaling, CloudWatch, etc. services.
  • Professional knowledge in Containerized platform (Docker & Kubernetes). 

Good to have:

  • Professional skills in Load Balancer (Nginx, HAProxy);

  • Professional skills in Linux (RHEL, CentOS);

Promuove e realizza progetti di cloud-migration, cloud-transformation e modernization  e supporta l’adozione di pratiche e modelli cloud native con conoscenza di tool e framework in ambito DevOps come Kubernetes. Fornisce supporto consulenziale e strategico ai clienti che intendono sia intraprendere percorsi di migrazione di applicazioni legacy che di sviluppo di nuove applicazioni cloud native.

Qualifiche

3-5 anni di esperienza su AWS (gradita conoscenza Azure e GCP)  con almeno 3 anni di esperienza prativa delle seguenti soluzioni AWS: EC2, Lambda, Cloudwatch, RDS, DynamoDB, Migration HUB, Control Tower, Organizations

Competenze ed esperienze tecnico architetturali in ambito AWS  con capacità di bilanciare i requisiti tecnico economici;

·Forte competenza nelle tecnologie AWS, nell'architettura cloud e nelle metodologie di integrazione;

·Esperienze nel disegno, pianificazione ed implementazione di progetti di cloud migrazione e modernizzazione applicativa;

·Conoscenze degli strumenti di gestione nativi dell’hyperscaler;

·Capacità di lavorare in team e di guidare, se richiesto, tecnicamente l’esecuzione di progetti di adozione e trasformazione al cloud;

·Conoscenza di soluzioni, architetture e tecnologie in ambito server, storage, backup, networking, security, virtualizzazione e delle principali versioni di OS e DBMS (SQL, noSQL);

·Esperienza con architetture e servizi basati su containers e/o serverless;

·Esperienza nella progettazione e provisioning di servizi cloud utilizzando metodologie e tool di IaC nativi dei principali hyperscaler e di mercato (es. Terraform, Cloudformation);

· strumenti di CI/CD: Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline…

·Conoscenza di uno o più tool di configuration management, ad esempio Chef, Ansible;

·Conoscenza e/o certificazioni in ambito architetture e tecnologie di microservizi: Kubernetes/Openshift, EKS…

Job Description

Experian is looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer (Cloud native Java) that can excel in an agile environment, developing, and delivering direct to customer products on a cloud native java platform. You will lead projects and developers using the latest technologies and are a necessary player in designing and implementing product features. This is a technical role requiring excellent coding skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on, active contribution as a leading member of software engineering teams focused on building API-based systems delivering highly secure, efficient, and robust solutions in a bold timeframe.
  • Develop scalable and reliable systems supporting consumer and data-centric products and services on an AWS cloud-based platform.
  • Integrate 3rd Party and Internal API, async, and file-based services using CSV, JSON, or XML data.
  • You will lead deliverables from brainstorming through testing/validation and production operationalization.
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with other team members.
  • Diligently observe and maintain Standards for Regulatory Compliance and Information Security.
  • Without fail, deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and current documentation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software development experience building and testing applications with secure coding practices.
  • You will be hands-on, collaborating with a team developing commercial software projects in cloud-native Java.
  • Proven proficiency in developing server-side Java applications using mainstream frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core.
  • Current cloud technology experience, like AWS (Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda, etc.).
  • A current working understanding of microservices, event-driven techniques, and data pipelines.
  • You are proficient in SQL and NoSQL-based data access and management.
  • You are familiar with async messaging, logging, or queues like Kafka, NATS, SQS, and RabbitMQ.
  • Recent experience managing PII/secure/sensitive data.
  • Demonstrable familiarity with CI/CD process, testing frameworks, and practices (CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CLI, etc.).
  • Experience with best design and software engineering practices, design principles and patterns, and unit testing.
  • Proficiency in developing easily monitored at the system and business operations level
  • You have a willingness to adapt to multiple technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • You have extensive experience building systems for financial services or tightly regulated businesses.
  • Mass-market retail online consumer product experience
  • If you have security and privacy compliance (GPDR, CCPA, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, etc.) experience, that would be great!
