Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will provide advice and insight in managing a book of business or a client relationship, overseeing activities involving the customer or product, and determining the ongoing strategy for maintaining the account. The Advisor role within the Seniors Housing Customer Engagement team will be responsible for the following: 

1)  Customer Account Management- Directly manage between 8 - 10 Seniors Housing DUS Lenders.  Evaluate and anticipate customer needs, respond to customer requests, and maintain customer relationships. 2) Borrower Relationships - Directly manage 5 Seniors Housing Priority Borrowers in order to build borrower relationships with the top customers and provide the highest level of customer service to grow the specialty product business. 

3) Product Management - Will play a major role in product strategy & development to improve product capabilities that are attractive to customers, improve inefficiencies  and expand product capabilities. Support customers in creating, implementing, and marketing Seniors loan products.  

4) Transaction Management -Ability  to analyze and process Seniors one/offs and Seniors Housing Structured Transactions

  • Conduct theoretical and empirical analyses with public and proprietary data in all areas of the mortgage finance business including securitization, borrower behavior, investment and hedging strategies, residential property valuation, macroeconomic forecasting of home price and interest rate trends, valuation of financial instruments, capital management, and stress testing.

  • Experience in Multifamily/CRE modeling is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of GSE Multifamily business model is highly preferred
  • Advanced experience in econometrics, statistical inference and/or financial mathematics, including time series forecasting, stochastic processes, hypothesis testing and causal inference, macroeconomic forecasting, market microstructure, and optimization/estimator design.
  • Expertise with machine learning and other modern modeling techniques including the use of big/unstructured data
  • Deep knowledge of Fannie Mae's business operations and policies or that of the Secondary Mortgage Market
