Job Description

Purpose: The Clinical Technology Consultant is responsible for all clinical support and device training related to the consumer-driven trial process. This is a clinical position that requires working directly with persons (both pediatric and adult) with complex communication needs, support persons, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and other related professionals to ensure a positive experience. The role entails applying clinical expertise to facilitate decision making in the implementation of AAC. The Clinical Technology Consultant is an integral part of the Consumer Business Team and acts as the voice for our consumers for improvement and change within the Lingraphica organization. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote training to adults and pediatrics with complex communication needs and their primary support persons. 
  • Perform initial consultations to determine course of AAC device trial 
  • Assist clients in customizing their Lingraphica device, based on their communication needs and preferences. 
  • Prepare clients for an AAC evaluation  
  • Provide training to SLPs specific to completing evaluations after a client is trained on  Lingraphica  speech generating devices (SGDs) 
  • Attend virtual assessments and provide support to the evaluating SLPs. 
  • Foster relationships with consumers (clients, support person’s, SLPs) 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams within marketing, sales, funding, and technical support.   
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to identify best practices and contribute to ongoing development of processes in consumer business.  
  • Ensure documentation of all customer interactions within the company CRM  

Other Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Participate in Consumer Business Team and Marketing Department initiatives  
  • Be a visible and active member of the Lingraphica team within organizations that participate in the larger communication challenged community  
  • Help recommend, review, and develop collateral and other clinical materials for marketing and educational purposes 
  • Serve as the customer voice  
  • Act as a liaison between consumers and the marketing department  
  • Exhibit at tradeshows and conferences, as needed  
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives, programs, and activities, as needed  

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Understanding of the role of the speech-language pathologist in treating and caring for persons with complex communication needs. 
  • Experience providing training and support to adults and pediatrics with complex communication needs and their primary support persons. 
  • Exceptional customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers 
  • Effective and professional communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills 
  • Experience with Lingraphica technologies, including SmallTalk apps, TalkPath Therapy, TalkPath News, Quick Assess, and communication device, strongly preferred 
  • Proficiency with Zoom and comfort providing training and support virtually. 
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Microsoft Excel/Word, Slack, preferred 
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), preferred
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish, required     

Education & Experience: 

Formal Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, required  
  • Masters in Speech Language Pathology, required  
  • SLP license, required  

Clinical Experience

  • 5 years clinical experience in speech pathology  
  • AAC experience, strongly preferred  
  • Tele-practice experience, strongly preferred   
  • Clinical experience with both pediatric and adult populations, strongly preferred 

Continuing Education  

  • Internal compliance of insurance/reimbursement regulations  
  • CEUs as needed to retain SLP license  
  • Awareness of latest advances in AAC industry including new disease states, diagnoses and treatment options for patients with aphasia, apraxia and  dysarthria

Purpose: The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that promote Lingraphica’s products, services, and brand identity. Purpose: The Clinical Educator is an integral part of Lingraphica’s lead generation strategy. This role acts as the face of the company by providing continuing education opportunities to speech-language pathologists (SLPs) within government and business organizations. Working closely with our sales team, the Clinical Educator will conduct daily educational demos, clinical conversations, and webinars to professionals across the country in VAs (Veterans Affairs) and other business organizations to inform them of the latest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) technology, research, and Lingraphica’s products and resources.   

Candidates must be excellent at public speaking, be driven and motivated, have excellent networking and relationship building skills, have the ability to train clinical professionals, become an expert in Lingraphica technology and its application to various clinical settings, and provide solutions to clinical inquiries. This individual should be comfortable troubleshooting any on-the-spot technical issues that may arise, without losing audience engagement.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Creates strategies for outreach and lead generation targeting SLPs at VA facilities across the U.S. 
  • Conducts daily educational demos, clinical conversations, webinars for clinical audiences within the VA and other business-to-business relationships 
  • Establishes relationships with VA SLPs and VA facilities. Establishes and maintains relationships with business partners (e.g. rehab/staffing companies, DME providers) 
  • Works closely with sales team for sales enablement and smooth transitions
