About Intorqa

IIntorqa is the first Threat Intelligence platform focussed solely on the video game industry. We help protect some of the biggest video games in the world by providing security teams with real-time insight into the activities of online communities that aim to harm the player experience.

This Role

You will work on capturing online content and data from a broad range of sources, ranging from the open web to chat groups, social media channels, and TOR hidden services.

What you'll do

  • Write and integrate content capture solutions from online sources, developing reusable software components that sit within our wider architecture
  • Look to constantly improve our content capture capabilities by implementing content capture best practices and technology components.

What you'll bring


  • At least 3 years of solid experience in Java and web technologies
  • Experience in developing asynchronous code within java or other JVM languages.
  • Working with REST API's
  • Experience in developing and managing distributed systems

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evangelize long-term platform strategy across the organization
  • Own execution of the Platform roadmap and collaborates with a cross-functional team of product managers, software engineers, and business operations 
  • Acts as the conscience for the Platform; continuously looking at the services from an end user's perspective; driving the complete experience to the best outcome possible for the end-user. Ensure the customer experience is a top priority throughout all stages of development.
  • Partners with Product and Engineering Leadership to ensure a manageable scope that can be delivered on time, on budget, and on quality.
  • The Platform Product Manager will need good project management skills to handle the complex dependency management and diverse stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on strategy.
  • Maintains and prioritizes a backlog of  Platform services
  • Leads the implementation of new platform capabilities from ideation to release.
  • Establish, monitor, and review the platform features and KPIs with the functional teams.
  • Focuses team and organization on scalability, stability, performance, and security.

Requirement Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in understanding, translating, and communicating technical requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prior experience delivering platform-level capabilities as a product manager or development stakeholder for a SaaS solution
  • Experience in SaaS product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated focus on customer value and a deep commitment to creating products that deliver delightful user experiences.
  • Considerable Experience with Agile or Scrum frameworks

Job Description:

The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a product or product features. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and may include marketing, forecasting, sales, finance, customer success and other product managers.


This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. A Product Manager provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between engineering, marketing, sales, and support along with working with other product managers to drive the overall organizational vision and strategy.


Product Sense: The product manager is the voice of the customer. A Product Manager analyzes customer needs and the market to define a product vision that delivers value for our customers through iterative development and design thinking. The Product Manager owns the product roadmap which will be presented to executive leadership teams and is accountable for executing against that roadmap.



  • Frequently interact with customers and user and customer experience teams to understand customer pain points, interpret market research and competitive analysis to create ideas for the product roadmap.
  • Design research plans to help define customer need and value.
  • Set the product vision and strategy. Define the priority of features and functionality based on customer/market need and value. Clearly articulate the customer value and business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or feature release using problem statements.
  • Owns, defines, and communicates the roadmap for their product. Evaluates that roadmap every quarter to identify shifts that need to happen based on current customer needs and criticality of features based on value and effort.
  • Understands KPIs that need to be met for the feature. Define the definition of success, how it should be measured and what must be achieved to be successful. Provide measurable data to support recommended strategy.
  • Participate in variety of listening post discussions to ensure the voice of the customer is well reflected within the product vision.
  • Be an ambassador for the product team and for the company.
  • Provide clear definition for expected outcomes which enables all contributing teams to perform their roles and deliver a successful product.
  • Define clear milestones for what teams must deliver and help create plans for when it could be delivered.
  • Leads requirements gathering effort on the epics and size them consulting with product development, QA, implementations, etc. as needed.
  • Break down Epics into Features and stories and document the story details based on the epics and features after review with engineering to size them and provide a delivery/execution plan with timelines.
  • Works with engineering managers to run scrum meetings including stand-ups, retrospectives, refinement, planning and demos; define the sprint goals and continuously improve processes.
  • Help clear barriers and obstacles for the development team through clear communication with key stakeholders and provide clarity to the engineering teams through well defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Works with UX design teams to assist them in creating mockups and validate the designs with customers.
  • Ensure release notes are provided in a timely fashion to product marketing highlighting the product features and user guides with illustrations.
  • Demo the pre-release version of the product with internal stakeholders, conduct training sessions and ensure product documentation is available prior to the release. Ensure post release validations and send release notes to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure product adoption with customers and identify next wave of features that improve the product.
  • Working with other Product Managers and Product Owners throughout the company to create a community of practice.
  • Additional responsibilities as required. 


Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Marketing or Finance. Will also accept equivalent of Bachelor Degree through any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Masters of Business Administrator or Certification in Product Management preferred.
  • 4+ Years Benefits Administration or related Experience.

We will rely on you to help your team to identify "how” a problem is solved, and plan for “when” it will be delivered.

You like spending your time leading a team, relying on their technical input, and supporting a diverse collection of individuals in coming together to solve problems and create products that as a whole are greater than the sum of their parts.

What you will accomplish:

Building relationships, developing trust.

The first 30 days will be spent building rapport with reports, product and engineering peers, and partners across the business. This initial acclimation period will have you immersed in our product lifecycle rituals including planning new work, conducting sprints, releasing code to production, and maintaining and sustaining existing features. Our expectation is that by the end of your initial month you are driving standup meetings, meeting 1:1 with direct reports, and building partnerships with peers and teammates who are critical to the team’s operations.

Focusing on consistency.

By day 60, our sprint estimations should be accurate within a ~30% margin. You will support consistent execution that minimizes disruption by advocating for simple solutions, ensuring complexity is aligned to value, coaching the team on technical best practices, facilitating collaboration, and keeping tasks small and approachable. You’ll facilitate a collaborative approach to addressing challenges with a sustained focus on customer value: what is the pain point to families, why are we solving it (now), and finally how?

Organizational impact.

Beyond the first couple of months, you'll have opportunities to affect org-wide change as it relates to appropriate career laddering, growth opportunities for engineers, performance management processes, and aligning staff to product and engineering challenges.

Going into your third month, we’re hoping for an audit of our current tech stack and reporting capabilities. We're continuously improving, and excited to have a new leader bring a fresh, pragmatic perspective to help us upgrade existing tools, implement new technology, reorient the team around new priority metrics, and drive towards creating a greater evidence-based technical culture.

What you bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional software development teams
  • Strong technical aptitude with broad experience shipping code
  • Experience running the day-to-day operations of an agile engineering team
  • Knowledge and experience in the basics of agile: planning, estimation, backlogs, standups, and retrospectives
  • Experience in Jira and automated tooling frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to efficiently and effectively manage multiple concurrent projects

Expression Networks is looking for a full-time Sr. Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. You will provide strategic direction on our QA practices, as well as technical direction and design requirement clarification to agile development teams, integration, and test personnel. You and your team will ensure that all information in our systems, products, and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements. You will perform technical analysis and define how the system works creating use cases, decomposing requirements, defining system interfaces, and helping determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team. You will participate in daily integration meetings, and collaborate with technical staff and external stakeholders/clients to determine test strategies in an iterative environment.

This candidate requires significant involvement with multiple technical teams in the company and as needed with our customers. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the overarching testing strategy to ensure automated or manual testing is implemented efficiently to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Author project test plan, test scenarios, and design detailed test cases from user stories, requirements, etc
  • Participate and influence the Hardware/Software environments needed to deliver the test approach
  • Study the data gathered during testing and evaluate the validity of the results making recommendations from procedural and test data
  • Define the standard tools and processes for test automation and regression testing
  • Write, develop, and execute test scripts to thoroughly test software, ensuring proper operation and freedom from defects
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Grooming meetings with Agile team members to support cross-functional teams and execute testing for multiple ongoing projects concurrently
  • Perform testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.
  • Perform manual test execution within the testing framework guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, product owners, and other team members to fully understand the requirements, ensuring high-quality standards are kept during all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Draft technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommend modifications needed to correct production problems.
  • Follow established test processes and test methods to ensure efficient and effective testing
  • Carry an organizational mindset to build teams aligned with strategic company objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering
  • At least 5 years of planning/developing test cases, authoring test cases, managing test execution, and QA reporting
  • Experience with Selenium and test automation tools
  • Experience in a modern web stack environment
  • Experience in leading and driving both manual and automated testing strategies
  • Experience with security testing (roles, permissions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of QA Best Practices
  • Highly knowledgeable in the complete Software Development Life Cycle including experience with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner with all levels of management, individual contributors, and the customer
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
