Job Description

The Development & Validation Engineer for Electrified Driveline is responsible for designing, developing, and validating components and systems.  Work closely with other engineer groups interacting with the transmission & driveline system, including - but not limited to - transmission hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, engine, driveline & electrified propulsion engineering organizations. The Development Engineer is also responsible for system level DFMEA development, DVPR and Test Management execution to ensure functional objectives and durability goals are met. Participate in post-test reviews including failure analysis. Support assembly plant activities to ensure smooth product launches.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  Automatic Transmission Engineer

  • B.S. Mechanical, Aero, Electrical or equivalent Engineering Degree
  • At least 3-5 years of  engineering experience in Automatic Transmission/Driveline/Electrified Powertrain hardware, calibration or controls development
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience with basic PC software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project)
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed, have the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and have a positive attitude.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  Automatic Transmission Engineer

As the Control Board Engineering Design & Release Engineer (DRE) you will have responsibility for STLA’s control board product development and verification for electric vehicle platforms which may include mHEV, HEV, PHEV and BEV.  The Engineer must be a strong systems-focused team player with interdisciplinary experience/expertise, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Descrierea locului de muncă

Responsabilități:

  • Este persoana de contact a departamentului post- vanzare  în cadrul proiectului său de vehicul, de la faza inițială sau de precontractare până la comercializare.
  • Asigura în faza de dezvoltare, integrarea cerințelor post vanzare de către echipele de inginerie și programe în cadrul proiectului său.
  • Asigura disponibilitatea serviciilor necesare și a pieselor la lansarea comercială a vehiculului și a versiunilor derivate.
  • În procesul de evolutie  a proiectului prezinta, dacă este necesar, problemele K1/K2 ale proiectelor din gama sa în cadrul iDAV, DAV sau comitetelor de proiect/program.
  • Participa la obtinerea avizelor post vanzare pentru etapele-cheie care trebuie transmise Inginerului de Asigurare a Calității.
  • Realizeaza un raport periodic privind evolutia proiectului său, avansarea planului de convergență, problemele dificile, evenimentele importante, disponibilitatea PR și PVI.
  •  Standardizarea si centralizarea  cunoștințelor dobândite în cadrul dezvoltării proiectelor.
  • În etapa de  viata serie (producție): menține actualizată documentația post vanzare disponibilă rețelei prin Infotech.
  • Ofera suport țărilot/regiunilot în fața dificultăților întâmpinate cu vehiculele transformate în ICP sau PP.
  • Este interfata intre departamentul post vanzare si departamentul  caroserie.

Calificări

Principalele calificari cerute sunt:

  • Studii superioare finalizate in domeniul ingineriei mecanice (AR, TCM, etc.),
  • Experienta anterioara in industria auto, 
  • Experienta anterioara in managementul de proiect (ideal fost Project manager/ Reponsabil afacere)
  • O minima experienta de utilizare a SPARC, ADT, New Dialogys reprezinta avantaj
