Job Description

QAD - a leader in cloud-based enterprise software and services is now looking for an ambitious and experienced Global Account Manager to join our team in EMEA.

As a Global Account Managerat QAD, you will be responsible for targeting net new customers and new leads in existing active customers in manufacturing environments in all verticals which includes: Automotive, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, Industrial, High Tech and Life Sciences. You will be responsible for software sales to achieve both company and personal quotas. You will develop marketing plans that provide leads, and understand customers’ business issues and design strategies.  Ideal candidates have knowledge of the manufacturing and supply chain process in discrete manufacturing industries, and enterprise software applications used in manufacturing.  

This is a remote opportunity located in the UK. 

 What You’ll Do:

  • Generate software subscription revenue for the assigned territory to achieve and/or exceed the Subscription revenue quota

  • Prospect in the assigned territory to achieve a qualified pipeline of 5X the annual revenue quota

  • Coordinate closely with internal and external teams in consulting, inside sales, and support sales to maximize QAD’s revenue capture from customers and prospects in the assigned territory

  • Use formal professional selling practices and tools

  • Nurture the customer by helping them identify business needs and explore their options

  • Update and maintain sales forecasts and provide reports reflecting territory and pipeline status and forecast 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or an equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a proven sales performer in the ERP software solutions industry, with a track record of nurturing and selling to net new customer base, meeting and exceeding quota targets, ideally in complex sales cycles.

  • 5+ years of enterprise class direct license/subscription sales; minimum of 3 years of field level enterprise software sales

  • Demonstrated success in achieving quota in complex, enterprise class software sales

  • Ability to establish and manage executive-level customer relationships

  • Ability to handle multiple complex sales cycles.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix-management environment with extended team members

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing and presenting in English is a must-have

  • Ability to resolve complex problems, develop and execute strategies 

  • Knowledge of Discrete or Process manufacturing industry preferred

  • Ability to learn quickly and have a high degree of emotional intelligence

Qualifications

  • Extensive Cybersecurity Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with at least 3 years of experience building Cyber Threat Detections. This experience should encompass a broad understanding of cyber threats, defense mechanisms, and the cybersecurity landscape. 
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Modeling: Demonstrated expertise in leveraging cyber threat intelligence to inform detection strategies and conduct threat modeling on critical business applications. Proven ability to design and implement effective detection mechanisms within complex IT environments using SPL, KQL and SQL. 
  • Technical Cybersecurity Skills: A strong technical background in cybersecurity technologies and methodologies, with a particular focus on threat intelligence, detection, response, and prevention. 
  • Analytical and Problem-solving Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, capable of translating complex threat data into actionable defense strategies. 
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across functional teams and engaging with all levels of management to integrate security practices. 
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks and Standards: Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, including but not limited to NIST. 
  • Relevant Cybersecurity Certifications: Possession of relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field. 
  • In-depth Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework: In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing the MITRE ATT&CK framework within security operations. This includes the ability to use the framework for threat modeling, detection strategy development, and enhancing overall security posture by understanding and mitigating tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries.

  • Own the design, construction and execution of automated actuarial tools and data pipelines that allow Clover to quickly answer business questions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Data Science, Accounting and Operations team members on group deliverables, ensuring that our business partners understand our solutions and can implement them appropriately.
  • Communicate analysis, findings, and supporting data in a manner that is meaningful to leadership and partnering teams.
  • Support compliance under Sarbanes Oxley, including through process and tool design, peer review and control testing.
  • Provide support, review and mentorship to more junior team members.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Within the first 90 days you've made efficiencies by leading Clover's financial analysis and reporting, including reserve estimation and internal management reporting, and owning the development of automated actuarial tools and data pipelines for swift business insights.
  • By the end of your 6 month period you've generated robust reports on reserve levels, financial projections, and key actuarial metrics to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
  • Future success in this role will be measured through developing and maintaining sophisticated actuarial models to forecast future liabilities and financial performance, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning.

In this role, you will: 

  • Partner with our Sales teams to develop strategies to enable our Global sales team to scale effectively, including process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

  • Backlog owner for each stakeholder group's user stories, ensuring questions from builders are answered and user stories are ready prior to sprint planning.

Testing:

  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that the solution meets the business requirements. Writes test scripts and executes testing
  • Outlines testing plans to enable designated testing resources to conduct testing with minimal clarifications

Documentation:

  • Maintains an up-to-date process flow repository for each supported stakeholder group, expediting as-is/to-be gap analysis efforts.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Systems, Product Management, Sales Operations, or IT with a track record of successfully optimizing global systems and processes.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner for quote-to-cash systems in a high-growth environment with 500+ users
  • Familiarity with the quote-to-cash technical requirements of sales, legal, finance, billing, and partner teams
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and the challenges associated with managing global operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • MANAGING EXISTING FRANCHISEES AND EXISTING AGREEMENTS: Assessing franchise health and new unit performance, capital structure, and growth readiness. Managing key strategic development projects, including development training courses (“Development College”), asset design, market planning and brand promotional activity.
  • DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES:Provide leadership and support to core development processes, including site approvals, site logic, forecast/actual, design approvals, exceptions, and contract issuance/execution.  
  • DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:Other development special projects as required; examples include Development College curriculum, revised DQ international promotional materials, Mexico GIS project, and others as required.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics or other related degrees required.  Master’s degree in Business, preferred.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in international franchising, either on the franchisor or franchisee side, ideally in restaurants; some preferred backgrounds include development, M&A, law, operations, finance or construction/design.
  • A process and detail-oriented relationship builder, with an intuitive understanding of franchisee/franchisor relationships, substantial sales/commercial skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have a good international professional network, and an understanding/familiarity with major players in the industry and the ability to identify, and reach, successful potential DQ franchisee candidates.
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills, including financial analysis, contracts, and strategy.
  • Ability to travel up to 33% to all international countries.
