Job Description

Our hardware team builds the tangible connection to all that is Square. As we introduce more and more of our products to the world, our hardware footprint expands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the embedded software in Square’s hardware products. This role will report to the firmware engineering manager for our Connected Hardware products.

You will: 

  • Build a common firmware platform for all of Square’s hardware products
  • Write code within the constraints of tiny embedded systems
  • Own firmware driving NFC and contactless payment subsystems 
  • Move up the stack to write and collaborate on system-side code; including protocol design
  • Develop tests to validate product features, drivers, and system functionality
  • Build reliable tools to support firmware development and product debugging
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical engineering, and release teams

Qualifications

 

You have:

  • Experience developing and debugging wireless connectivity solutions in embedded systems, using technology such as NFC, RFID, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, or Wi-Fi
  • A  software development discipline, including modularization, documentation, and test methods
  • Firmware / Embedded software development experience
  • Experience leading large multi-person projects, from design, implementation, deployment and monitoring phases
  • Expertise in C  software development, tools, and debugging
  • Understanding of common communications protocols (e.g. SPI, UART, I2C, USB), debugging practices (e.g. JTAG and associated GDB integrations), and electrical design principles
  • BS in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with real-time operating systems
  • Experience shipping consumer electronics products
  • Experience debugging issues cross functionally, using a combination of software and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers

Even better if you have experience in any of the following:

Position Overview

For this role you should be a leading Technical Support Engineer, experienced in technical support of complex technologies in challenging global environments. As part of the Support team you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer experience remains positive throughout the lifecycle of their support interactions.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods focused on Information Assurance, Information Systems/Network Security, Infrastructure Design, and Vulnerabilities Assessments
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of how malicious software works (i.e.-malware, trojans, rootkits, etc.)
  • Ability to modify known and/or craft custom exploits manually without dependence on consumer tools such as Metasploit
  • Strong knowledge of tools and techniques used to conduct network, wireless, and web application penetration testing

The Simulation group delivers products that accelerate our autonomous vehicle development, testing, and deployment through specialized frameworks and tools. We’re looking for experienced software engineers for our Simulation Analysis and Acceleration team to deliver analytical frameworks, tools, etc that enable others to build quantitative analysis pipelines, metrics to support and accelerate design, prioritization and development of features, and evaluate impact of recently shipped features. You will be responsible for ensuring the full lifecycle of investigating and understanding our platforms: determining appropriate metrics and methodologies, building data pipelines to measure the accuracy and precisions of different simulation frameworks, tracking the evolution of the AVs performance within Simulation, and deploying tools for clear and accurate reporting to stakeholders and customers. The team is also responsible for accelerating development and testing of current and new capabilities built by our customers through continuously improving the verification and validation workflows. As a member of this team you will improve productivity across the organization by building automation tools and shared libraries that will be used across engineering teams.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and improve data pipelines for evaluating simulated behaviors against both real world observation data and simulation synthetic data
  • Create tooling that can receive signals from various sources (Simulation, Road, etc) and allow users to easily build quantitative analysis pipelines to extract usable insights
  • Accelerate team’s effectiveness and efficiency by designing and implementing scalable automation tools for test creation, data collection and analysis, debugging, and performance monitoring
  • Design and implement extensible and well-tested shared libraries that will be used by many engineers across the organization
  • Collaborate with Frameworks and Data Infra teams to build and deploy tools to improve productivity
  • Work closely with autonomous vehicle engineering to enable rapid development and model feedback
  • Maintain a high technical standard for code quality on the team, through architectural design and code reviews

  • Experience writing Python and C++ in a production environment (unit testing, code review, algorithm performance and tradeoffs, etc.)

  • Review revenue contracts, modifications, and terminations to ensure revenue is recorded, following ASC 606 requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and apply technical guidance related to software and SaaS revenue recognition, overseeing accounting policies and memos related to revenue.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
  • Be a liaison with external auditors relating to the closure of revenue accounting matters and annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Evaluate processes, and drive system implementation and enhancements including integrations from Salesforce, Zuora, RevPro, and SAP for process improvements.

 

You have:

  • Degree in accounting, active CPA or CA license preferred, but not expressly required
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 or other public accounting experience required
  • 3-5 years experience with ASC 606, AS 115, or IFRS15 Revenue Recognition, SaaS experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts)
  • Data collection and modeling, what-if scenarios and experience managing large sets of data
  • Demonstrated experience to be a real 'systems' thinker with excellent process orientation

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Finance, this role will ensure Pindrop’s financial, strategic, and operational objectives are achieved.     • Lean into partnerships with GTM and Product leaders to drill into opportunities for revenue and cost optimization while building forecast model framework

Within 90 days you’ll 

    • Calibrate financial models and minimize forecast variance
    • Have had a few wins and shorter term projects completed and integrated into the business - with plans for longer term strategic goals in place
    • Own relationship with key stakeholders and build model framework for GTM (i.e. Sales Capacity/Productivity modeling) and Products (i.e. infrastructure cost modeling)
    • Create a standard process from 0-1 on data foundation and reporting automation 
    • Enhance cost and revenue predictability with new models 
    • Become the primary trusted business advisor for GTM and Product orgs

Vectra is seeking a dedicated MDR Security Specialist to join our growing team. You'll use your deep security knowledge and communication skills to become a trusted advisor for our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) customers, as well as onboarding customers into our MDR/MXDR offerings.

What You'll Do:

  • Customer Success Champion: Become the main point of contact, fostering positive customer experiences throughout their Vectra MDR journey.
  • Technical Expertise: Solve issues, provide technical guidance, and support customers and internal teams in enhancing the value of Vectra products and services.
  • Security Savvy: Monitor industry trends, stay updated on MDR standard processes, and educate customers on Vectra's platform and services.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Drive deep integration of Vectra Cognito into customer workflows, collaborate on renewal strategies, and develop programs to increase product adoption.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Track and report key metrics to measure customer satisfaction, health score, and product usage.

We're Looking For:

  • Technical Background: Solid understanding of network security, enterprise software, and security product lines (firewalls, SIEM, etc.)
  • Communication Expertise: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at all levels.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrable ability to build successful relationships with senior leaders (CISOs) and technical teams.
  • Passionate Approach: A genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service and drive customer success.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within enterprise software (CSM, TAM, Sales Engineering, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Vectra, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or CrowdStrike
  • Experience supporting high-touch, enterprise customers (Fortune 500 or similar)
  • Project management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Computer Science or related field)

Plus Points:

  • Coding experience in Bash, Python, Powershell, API's
  • Open-source development experience

As the Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of web development, including front end, back end, integration, database, security, and version control. Role  

As a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer on the ServiceNow SSDL team, you will collaborate with developers and software architects on highly technical solutions and help the organization build secure and resilient software. You will be threat modeling software products and services to identify potential risk and participate in architectural reviews of products in development.    

A key part of this position is to ensure the continued success of a large and growing security champions program. You will help mentor security champions and assist them in secure software design. As a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer, you will help security champions be successful.

  • Working knowledge of Machine Learning and taxonomies such as BIML that categorize known attacks on machine learning models 

  • In-depth knowledge of software design patterns and their security considerations 

  • Expertise in authentication and authorization standards including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and PASETO 

  • Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, digital signatures, PKI, TLS, and cryptographic hash functions 

  • Knowledge of cloud native technologies including containers, Kubernetes, and services provided by AWS, GCP, and Azure 

  • Knowledge of static analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) security tools 

  • Knowledge of OWASP ASVS, SCVS, and related verification standards 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a highly distributed team
