Job Description

Role Summary 

The Revenue Strategy Analyst will support all revenue cycle functions, including Revenue Cycle Operations, Payor Relations, and Credentialing, to support Operations and Executive Leadership.  The Revenue Strategy Analyst will be responsible for gathering and aggregating data across multiple data sets to provide operations and executive leadership comprehensive insight into the financial health of the end-to-end revenue cycle including fee optimization through payor mix analysis, payor fee comparisons, and market-driven UCR analysis.  

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Work with Sr. Director of Payor Relations to update market-driven UCR analysis for annual increase recommendations, create payor mix analyses and provide insights on optimizing payor mix to improve reimbursement rates and financial performance.  

  • Work with Operations and Revenue Cycle teams to audit EOBs to ensure reimbursements are paid according to the current payor fee schedule and contractual agreements. 

  • Create a streamlined and transparent credentialing process; support the Credentialing and Operations teams to ensure Providers are credentialed/recredential with payors, and CAQH participation, while monitoring the credentialing ticket system.  Implement credentialing software for enterprise. 

  • Maintain all payor contracts and support the management of payor contracts in tandem w. Sr. Payor Relations Direction. This includes renegotiation dates, payor fee schedules, and UCR fee schedules. 

  • Independently design, build, and execute a comprehensive data model for all Payor Relations and Revenue Cycle functions; serve as the centralized gateway for all data requests with regards to Payor Relations and Revenue Cycle data. 

  • Create and design centralized workflow functions for a hybrid team which includes offshore and onshore vendor partners. 

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis including revenue trend analysis, payor trend analysis, revenue forecasting, proformas, and monitoring of specific key performance indicators. 

  • Ability to analyze data for anomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvement by workflow changes or technology; able to work and manipulate copious amounts of data on multiple technology platforms and provide results in a presentable format. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. MBA would be preferred. 

  • 5-7 years working in healthcare revenue cycle, payor relations, or related field. 

  • Excellent Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills. 

  • Basic understanding of practice management software or electronica health records software. 

  • Dental knowledge preferred.

Job Description

The Hygiene Director is the mastermind of the office’s service mix execution, gaining case acceptance from the hygiene chair and the overall continuing care program.  They work within the parameters set by the Clinical Board to develop, continuously grow, and improve a hygiene program for our patients that strives to help the hygienists understand and become proficient at practicing preventive dentistry.  The Hygiene Director position plays an integral role in the business, contributing to a smoothly running, high-morale practice with a happy, productive team and highly-satisfied patients.  They are responsible for providing the best training, coaching, communication, and support to the hygiene team while ensuring the front and back office work together to create the most efficient, customer-service-oriented hygiene experience for all patients of record.  In this position, the Hygiene Director works to ensure that all systems affecting continuing care and case acceptance are done at a level of mastery based on best practices models and the leader’s vision of success.  

The Hygiene Director may have duties involving HR needs for the hygiene team, including but no limited to scheduling, hiring, and growth conferencing. 

The Hygiene Lead will work directly with the following:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Fully utilize the analytics platform and provide weekly/monthly reports

  • Collaborate with Ops Directors/CEP’s to identify priority offices 

  • Partner with the doctors to identify opportunities to improve the hygiene systems and processes, hygiene protocols and philosophy 

  • Monitor the Hygiene Excellence Partners engagement 

  • Track and monitor Hygiene performance using the scorecard and provide quarterly reports to the Sr Hygiene Director/payroll 

  • Maintain and update the appropriate job descriptions and personnel files 

  • Maintain documents in SharePoint 

  • Create monthly newsletters to keep Dental Hygienists up-to-date 

  • Create solution sets for scheduling, perio protocol, patient experience, Recare efficiency, and co-discovery 

  • Support the overall vision, goals, and strategies for the Hygiene Department 

  • Participate in 1:1’s with HEP’s and Hygiene Leads in the practice and provide support as needed 

  • Lead and participate in HEP/Hygiene Lead alignment meetings 

  • Provide support and input on PACA reviews for Dental Hygienists 

  • Coach, mentor and lead Dental Hygienists in the practice focusing on KPI’s and benchmarks 

  • Monitor Hygiene moral and communicate what is going right, and/or concerns 

  • Maintain Standard of Care and look for opportunities to coach 

  • Monitor Service Mix, Case Acceptance, and recare efficiency 

  • Ensure supplies and equipment are maintained for the hygiene team within budget guidelines 

  • Maintain Vendor Relationships 

  • Provide Hygiene training and focus on developing others

Qualifications

  • Passion for excellence in the area of Dental Hygiene 

  • Deep understanding of best practices for hygiene diagnosis and protocols to execute optimal hygiene treatment 

  • Understanding of best practices for CDT code use within a hygiene protocol 

  • In-depth knowledge of the hygiene courses that best support the hygiene team and when to have a team member attend 

  • Influencing skills to direct Hygienists towards optimal patient care: 

  • Ability to train on case acceptance for hygiene procedures 

  • Ability to gain case acceptance from the hygiene chair for the doctor
