Continued is seeking a talented, driven Sales Associate to support the VP of Sales in driving the Continuing Education group sales business line. This position will own the entire Continuing Education sales business cycle for our Behavioral Health (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology) and Respiratory Therapy verticals. This position is focused on creating an exceptional partner experience for our clients from onboarding to continued promotion of our products and services, as well as increased utilization throughout the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strive to exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales department goals
  • Manage and own the entire lifecycle of new and existing client business, from sourcing to closing, across all channels for our Social Work, Counseling, Psychology and Respiratory Therapy verticals
  • Lead generation via daily cold calling for new business
  • Partner across departments in response to RFP’s (Requests for Proposal)
  • Act as key liaison for existing partners and end-users for group sales across our verticals
  • Run and/or participate in training of clients/partners on system administration, and provide onboarding and continued support in using our program
  • Daily/weekly/monthly tracking of utilization percentages for Sales team
  • Assist with any necessary email or mail campaigns to further promote and enhance the benefits of our products
  • Develop sales leads and make first contact by researching hospitals and health systems, pre-registering as a vendor, obtaining the bid calendars, completing vendor packets, working with accounts payable, and updating HubSpot records accordingly
  • Be point of contact for all customer service needs for all program questions and/or problems for clients and partners, reseller programs, school, and group accounts
  • Report system bugs and provide QA testing of systems as needed
  • Work with Accounting on all related invoice and billing requests related to new sales and renewals
  • Deliver and continue an exceptional client experience throughout the lifecycle of our clients to maintain existing business
  • Work directly with the VP of Sales on various projects as they arise (updates to call lists, competitor research, trade shows, email campaigns, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • Previous experience working in sales or account management
  • Proven experience meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals
  • Comfort and previous experience with cold calling prospective clients
  • Experience in Behavioral Health (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology) or Allied Health industry a very strong plus
  • Passion for customer service and being a part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and think independently
  • Extremely reliable and motivated to go the extra mile
  • Excellent ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
  • High level of comfort learning new technologies and proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite (gmail, calendar, gdrive)
  • Proficiency with HubSpot a plus
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence a plus

About the Role - 

As Instacart continues its rapid expansion, we are looking to add additional Sales Associates to our Brand Partnerships team. Sales Associates will be responsible for managing a book of business composed of both active and inactive brand partners. About the Team - 

The Instacart Brand Partnerships team is responsible for managing Instacart’s relationship with CPG brand partners. The team’s remit is to act as strategic consultants to accelerate the revenue growth of CPG brands on Instacart. The team works closely with internal cross functional teams from product, comms, marketing, insights and analytics to drive value and excitement with our partners. 

 

About the Job 

  • Build and maintain relationships with a book of actively advertising emerging brands
  • Prospect new advertisers to the platform, assisting with campaign creation, launch and renewal
  • Maintain a high volume of weekly inputs, including scheduled client meetings and emails
  • Reach and exceed KPIs including activations, retained advertisers and revenue
  • Act as a primary point of escalation for technical issues
