​​About the Role:

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the architecture, installation, operation, administration, backup\recovery, and maintenance of the various IT and Cloud Infrastructure platforms, including and not limited to - Windows, and Mac Endpoints (mainly Windows Management, mobile devices), Enterprise Identity Providers such as Okta, and Entra ID, and various aspects of cloud infrastructure such as Azure. You will help improve the architecture, integration, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will provide senior technical administration expertise in managing projects and tasks that involve a variety of on-premises cloud based applications and services.

You Will:

• Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft Intune, as well as be responsible for managing and maintaining Intune infrastructure and configurations.
• Design, implement, and enforce Intune policies and configurations profiles for device management, compliance, security, and application management.
• Package applications and upgrades for deployment through Intune, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems.
• Oversee the enrollment process of devices into Intune, including Autopilot deployment, registration, and configuration.
• Develop procedures and documentation to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use.
• Understanding of general scripting and automation (Batch, PowerShell, Bash)
• Package third party and internal company software for deployment with patch management and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot wide scale endpoint issues in terms of updates, software, drivers, and other similar issues.

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience
• Experience in various endpoint management solutions such as Jamf, Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Experience with Okta, Jamf Pro & Group Management rules.
• Strong understanding and experience using Okta
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 product suites is a plus as well as a background in AD and Entra ID integration management.
• Microsoft Graph API understanding.
• Script version management via Github repositories
• Familiarity with SOX and HIPAA compliance rules.

Vectra AI’s Office of the CTO is seeking to expand the Emerging Technologies team to include a Principal Systems Engineer contributing to the company’s next generation of AI-based products and services.  This role will focus on the data architecture, technology qualification, scalability, and engineering tasks vital to convert research prototypes into large scale, performant, and reliable systems. 

The ideal candidate will both collaborate through the difficult challenges of early-stage research and development while also working independently and autonomously in their specialized area of focus.  Additionally, this role must be comfortable with the ambiguity of open-ended research while maintaining a strong bias to converge that research into a concrete and supportable specification and implementation.

• Leverage data architecture and engineering expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams chartered to identify and enable opportunities for research acceleration through platform capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for improving developer productivity and system performance.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience with modern applications and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from inception to deployment.
• Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience with designing and implementing large scale data processing systems.
• Experience designing and interacting with complex data models.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C/C++, or Rust) used in production.

Help maintain, upgrade, and manage the IT infrastructure (software, hardware, and networks) centered at our locations. Diagnose and resolve problems quickly to ensure Torc systems run smoothly and efficiently to keep self-driving vehicles securely on the road! As a key member of the IT support team, this role must possess the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary users in an agile, fast-paced setting.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide technical support for incoming queries or issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, with the ability to respond to after-hours requests
• Manage users and systems within MDM tools (Intune, Landscape, JAMF), onsite and remote deployments of systems including Autopilot and continuing development of Golden Images
• Monitor systems and respond appropriately to security or usability issues
• You will help manage and maintain windows servers and our On-Prem/Azure Active directory service 
• Manage physical and virtual servers and technology tools; conference room testing, deployment, and administration; hardware and software procurement and tracking; engineer, upgrade, and test systems with new releases and models
• Maintain internal knowledgebase with up-to-date technical documentation and IT policies; and develop expertise in new systems to train staff on new or existing technologies
• Maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse. Maintain equipment, materials, and supplies and maintain an inventory for chain of custody and loss control. Ensure all equipment is marked and catalog per the asset management protocol

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field plus 5+ years of experience; OR an Associate’s Degree in technical field plus 7+ years of experience; OR 10+ years equivalent work experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required 
• Demonstrated excellence in documentation of work (ticket hygiene, project planning, requirements gathering, POC engineering, creation & maintenance of knowledgebase articles)
• Proven experience maintaining operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email, workstations, and networking across multiple platforms on a variety of hardware
• Microsoft enterprise technologies (AD, Azure AD, Office365 and other various Microsoft Server tools) and end-user workstation administration, enterprise application administration (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
• Virtualization and VDI experience (VMware, Proxmox, Horizon VDI)
• Familiarity and Understanding of User Lifecycle administration, Identity and Access Management (M365/Okta), and Software license management
• Enterprise storage & backup solutions (Veeam, Isilon, Powerstore, Synology, general SAN/NAS) 
• ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800.53, ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF experience
• Familiarity with software development environments, CI/CD, and AGILE workflows
• MDM and deployment solutions (Mosyle, Jamf, Intune, Landscape)

Network and information security fundamentals

• Strong Windows Server including WSUS, Windows
