Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Consulting to create and drive business growth across a range of markets. Reporting to the Founder, you will play an important role in the formation and execution of the sales strategy and capability of the firm taking on responsibility for delivering new business sales in key target markets. You will need to have a genuine interest in startup businesses and be comfortable in entrepreneurial startup environments where various aspects of the business are still being developed, decisions are made quickly and plans across new activities take place with plenty of pace. You will need to be self-starter, creative and resourceful, able to work independently and show ample drive, tenacity and flexibility coupled with sound commercial understanding for developing business relationships in the market, closing consulting contracts with clients and driving profitable growth across a portfolio of new accounts. Building credibility among prospect clients and identifying the right new business opportunities for promoting our proposition in the market to clients will be key for succeeding in this role and therefore you will be expected to possess deep knowledge of the consulting industry, have broad expertise across a range of management consulting services and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of successful closures of big consulting contracts and management of strategic accounts with top consulting firms.

 

What we will expect from you:

  • Develop commercial relationships across a portfolio of prospect client accounts
  • Develop and maintain a robust and comprehensive prospecting and sales strategy for delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives across accounts to maximise opportunities within new revenue streams
  • Identify effective routes to market across different prospect client accounts and set clear targets to win new business
  • Drive client facing activity by securing meetings with new contacts in the market
  • Develop a clear framework for relationship development of each account and account penetration of Eupnea services, and objectives against planned activity
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of sale opportunities on each account & drive and co-ordinate effort through to contract closures
  • Liaise with consultants at all levels to promote effectively business development best practice and lead the development of the sales function and capability
  • Drive cultivation and negotiations and support pitch process to win client contracts, ensuring every stage is managed to the highest standard
  • Help develop sales enablement campaigns and drive opportunities from marketing campaigns
  • Join relevant industry events, forums, panel discussions, talks and round-tables to raise the profile of Eupnea

Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong new business development or strategic account management background with proven track record in the consulting/professional services industry
  • Demonstrate experience of originating, developing, managing and nurturing credible and trusted relationships with C-suite, decision makers and other senior stakeholders across small to large-size organisations
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for clients across different types of organisations and proven experience of developing high-performing consulting teams and working with business leaders in multiple industries to develop compelling client propositions
  • Have extensive experience in consulting for the Financial Services sector is a requirement and at least two other industries
  • Previous work experience gained from Strategy Houses or other global management consultancies with presence/exposure in the UK market will be considered a plus
  • Demonstrate solid expertise in multiple areas of management consulting, including some of the following areas: Strategy, Business Transformation, Operational Efficiency, AI, Digital, Programme/Project Management, Change Management and Governance
  • Have proven success in developing and winning proposals for clients using a range of sales methodologies and sustainably growing a pipeline
  • Be flexible and adaptable and have clear understanding of best practice and sales excellence
  • Be able to work effectively in an entrepreneurial startup environment, collaborate with others in different business settings & manage multiple stakeholders at a senior level
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and gravitas with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a high standard of sales and personal leadership skills

 

Initially the role will be offered temp-to-perm with prospect to become full-time permanent in the future and lead to the further development of the business functions in the firm encompassing Business Development, Marketing and Sales, and the expansion of Eupnea's Consulting Practice.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced management consultant to support our efforts in the successful promotion of our consulting services in our key target markets and development of consulting engagements with clients. You will work directly with our Founder in the UK and our teams in the UK and India in order to support the implementation of our sales strategy across a number of client engagement channels that we use.

 

Primary Role Responsibilities

• Drive client facing activity by securing meetings with new contacts in the market via selected channels e.g. email, messaging or telephone

• Develop a thorough understanding of prospect clients’ key characteristics and needs and the relevant Eupnea propositions, ensuring our engagements encompass the full breadth of the firm

• Work directly with the Founder and our consultants to support effectively our range of business development activities and best practice (including conducting market research and organising branded events) and development of the prospecting and sales capability

• Ensure client feedback (and learnings from) are shared and acted upon to help leverage prospecting capability, increase opportunity conversion and client satisfaction. Identify winning behaviours based on client feedback and best practice principles and increase effort/activity on the right opportunities

• Help develop sales enablement campaigns and drive opportunities from marketing and sales campaigns

• Join relevant industry events, forums, panel discussions, talks and roundtables on behalf of Eupnea to utilise business networking opportunities and raise the profile of Eupnea

• Accurately record all business development activity (conversations and opportunities) and KPI measurement in our systems, and

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background. A Bachelor degree is necessary. A MBA or MSc in a quantitative field is considered a plus

• 3+ years of experience in a similar or other sales-focused role within the consulting industry and demonstrable evidence of supporting closure of consulting contracts with businesses within Financial Services and at least one other industry e.g. Energy, Utilities, Retail etc.

• Deep knowledge and strong expertise in promoting consulting services within some of the following areas: Strategy, Organisational Design, Business/Process/Digital Transformation, Governance, Project Management and Change Management

• Previous work experience gained from Strategy Houses or other global management consultancies with presence/exposure in the UK market will be considered a plus

• Very good knowledge and/or hands-on experience with various technologies and applications used in the areas of Strategy consulting, HR consulting, Business Change and Transformation implementations and for data management and analytical solutions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with previous experience working with Senior- or Executive-level professionals in the industry

• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong ability to work independently and under pressure and respond effectively on own initiative to changing situations and priorities generating expected or desirable outcomes

• Detail-oriented, solutions-focused and accurate with positive can-do attitude

• Be able to work effectively in an entrepreneurial start-up environment, collaborate with others in different business settings & manage multiple stakeholders

• Excellent business and commercial awareness

• Knowledge of standard software packages (demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is required) and ability to learn company-specific systems.

Job Description

We are looking for an Events Executive to support with the development and execution of a comprehensive agenda of online and physical events for Eupnea, ensuring the business participates in a broad range of industry events, as well as, organises own events successfully to connect with clients.

The Events Executive will need to have good experience across all aspects of managing an event from content production, marketing and advertising, sourcing participants (for own events), scheduling meetings with attendees (at industry events), exhibitions and sponsorships amongst a range of other areas for event planning and execution. The role is London-based as the person in this role will also be required to attend business networking events in London, on their own or together with the Founder of Eupnea and other members of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Event Strategy: Support to design a comprehensive event strategy and agenda to promote Eupnea in the industry and connect with clients

• Event Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a robust and highly effective end-to-end event management process that can build our reputation in the industry and provide a strong source of clients to the business from the successful organisation of and/or participation in events

• Engagement with Participants: Deliver a strong agenda of meetings and other networking activities for each event (at-event and post-event activity) against agreed event goals, including winning consulting contracts and/or collaborative projects with businesses

• Event Content Creation and Distribution: Produce excellent event material and social media posts for event promotion, and work with other teams in Eupnea to support marketing/sales activities related to events, include event content in the Eupnea website and, for own events, create and maintain a highly engaging webpage of each event

• Event Performance Optimisation: Provide accurate forecasts for event attendance and advise on event budget and other factors prior to each event. Quantify ROI of each event and communicate effectively to our leadership team and make recommendations to support decision making for organising and participating in future events.

Qualifications

• An academic qualification in Marketing, Advertising or Event Management

• At least 2 years of practical experience within the Events industry

• Must have recent experience managing the whole process of an organisation participating in external industry events for business leaders and/or organising the external business event agenda of an organisation

• Good project management experience and be able to work effectively under pressure independently to set clear requirements, guidelines and supporting business material for organising successful events

• Experienced to participate in industry events alone and as a member of a delegation, develop strong connections with senior-level professionals and deliver excellent business outcomes

• Good communication and organisational skills for presenting, communicating and/or interacting in a concise and effective manner internally at the highest level of an organisation and externally with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of seniority, including C-level professionals  

• Proactive and energetic individual with good commercial acumen

 

The role is London-based remote and can be offered as a full-time or part-time contract however there will be a requirement to participate and/or organise a minimum of 10 events each year. If you have a passion for events, this could be a great opportunity for you. Immediate start is available.
