THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WORKING AS AN SDL CONTRACT CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT:
Shockingly Different Leadership is the host of the annual ScaleHR Human Resources Conference, the only strategy conference dedicated to scaling HR's capability and capacity to support organizational growth, business transformation and the workforce of the future! This 2-day conference is like no other! Attendees will learn tactics and best practices to address the most urgent challenges facing HR functions, via experiencing 8 micro-learning strategy labs. The topics for each lab have been curated from the world's most foremost business and HR leaders.
We are seeking a consultant to help market and secure sponsors for our 2019 conference.
This position can be based anywhere in the United States and will work remotely.
You would be employed as a subcontractor of Shockingly Different Leadership. This opportunity is a 4-month contract position, with the potential to be renewed in 2020
GOT IT? OKAY, BUT WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?
You would focus on:
- Your day-to-day activity includes contacting targeted vendors aligned with the human resources industry to secure sponsorship engagements for the ScaleHR Conference. The ideal candidate is creative, articulate, motivated, and enjoys forming and managing relationships.

· Have thrown your cap in the air – you have a Bachelors degree. Masters degree highly desired
· Have had 2+ years demonstrated success in sponsorship marketing, sales, or business development
· Have savvy internet-based research abilities, including being a whiz on LinkedIn.
· Have excellent oral and writing skills
· Have demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision; available to communicate during EST business hours.

Contract Learning and Development Facilitator- Can be based anywhere in USA
SDL's Learning and Development Facilitators deliver training material for a number of courses to SDL clients, to help their individual contributors, managers, and leaders develop crucial job skills and/or leadership competencies. Facilitators use expanding knowledge of learning and development (L&D) programs to understand the interconnectivity and business impact of various solutions. At times, facilitators may be required to provide one-on-one or group coaching to assist in the learning of new skills. You may also be occasionally asked to recommend modifications to instructional designers, to keep course content fresh and to enhance L&D programs, resources, and tools.

Contract Organizational Development Consultant - Can be based anywhere in USA
SDL's Organizational Development consultants provide a range of consultation services to organizational leaders on the development and implementation of key strategies and training for creating and sustaining a high performing organization.
We are looking to add to our team a few dynamic OD consultants who are willing to work collaboratively with SDL client executives and other team members to identify needs, determine appropriate interventions, support project initiatives, and implement strategies that will increase business and organizational performance.
SDL Organizational Development consultants must possess the expertise to create and implement leadership development programs that support our clients' objectives and foster a highly effective management and leadership structure. Knowledgeable about the roles of engagement, collaboration, coaching, and retention in high performing organizations is key.
SDL OD consultants should also be well versed in spotting issues and trends, recommending improvements, and facilitating change using a collaborative approach involving organizational learning, other human resources centers of excellence and other stakeholders as necessary.
Required Minimum Education:Master’s degree required, preferably in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Adult Education or related field.

Contract HRIS Implementation Consultant - Can be based anywhere in the USA
SDL frequently helps companies with the project implementation and change management of HRIS solutions, such as Success Factors, Workday, etc. We partner with the vendor technical leads and the HRIS company champions to ensure a high ROI, as we help align the technology with the reality of optimal operational processes.
We want to add to our team an experienced HRIS Implementation Consultant to lead successful implementation and change management for our clients. This project work is commonly 3-6 months in length and helps our clients get the business and its teams prepared for the HRIS launch, the go-live period, and the post-HRIS implementation. Ensuring successful integration of the new HRIS system is our measure of success!
We are looking for someone with a solid knowledge of change models & experience embedding change throughout a global organization, preferably in the area of HR systems, ideally Workday HRIS.
With over half our employees working remotely, experience working with home-based employees would be beneficial to understanding how best to manage change though a remote workforce.
