Waymo's Procurement and Vendor Enablement Office is a diverse, collaborative, and service-oriented group with a mission to efficiently procure indirect goods and services, build supplier relationships, and support outsourcing excellence to achieve Waymo's growth goals. The Vendor Enablement Office works across Waymo to ensure the right type of workforce is being deployed in the right locations and managed to provide service excellence. We provide oversight and are responsible for the strategy, governance and lifecycle operations across our temporary staff and outsourced services workforce. The team implement programs, provides processes, sets policies and manages governance to make it easier and less risky for Waymonauts to successfully engage with an extended workforce.

You will:

• Collaborate with Waymo's Operations Team to lead high impact strategic programs that transform and mature Waymo's outsourced service delivery.
• Build deep supplier relationships; promote supplier excellence and continuous improvement to evolve our operations.

The Waymo Safety team works to promote and help to improve the safety of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Our experts develop safety goals and strategies, and conduct safety engineering analyses to ensure safety is being considered throughout the design and development of our vehicles. The team develops and promotes safety strategies and policies for autonomous vehicles for its work with regulatory authorities, lawmakers, law enforcement and public and non-profit organizations.

This role will be remote and reports into our Head of Resilience and Incident Management.

You will:

• Manage all aspects of Waymo's enterprise-level event and incident response program. Responsible for ensuring continuous improvement of the program to meet the demands of the company.
• Drive strategy and oversee the design, implementation, testing, and administration of incident management and investigation tools (software) in partnership with our Product and Engineering teams
• Optimize incident response functionality to keep up with scaling operations without sacrificing safety and quality
• Proactively monitor and communicate incident management readiness and performance. Conduct periodic reviews of the program, develop metrics, and present data proactively to the organization based on trends

At Waymo Insurance, you will work on the cutting edge of emerging risk and related issues surrounding our transformational autonomous driving technology and help drive our business lines forward from technology ideation through scaled commercial deployment. We partner with our legal, public policy, safety, security and privacy experts to evaluate and manage risks for the autonomous driving world to come, advising on insurance trends, evaluating and quantifying product liability, auto, cyber and related risks to ensure we build the appropriate risk and insurance frameworks to support and protect our users around the world. • Directly handle claims, in particular subrogation claims, on behalf of Waymo
• Provide guidance to TPAs, promoting a customer experience-focused culture of excellence.

This is a remote role reporting to a Lead Technical Program Manager, Systems Integration.

In this role you'll:

• Collaborate across Hardware, Software, and Operations teams to build schedules that align execution to meet product goals
• Partner with technical leads, product managers and program managers to drive execution on broad cross functional efforts
• Lead proactive risk management efforts and contingency plans across the program landscape to deliver on the program
