The Role

Pantheon is seeking a driven, results-oriented Mid-Market Account Executive to focus on acquiring new business and driving revenue growth. This is a hunter role with a focus on net-new business, targeting mid-market accounts. As a critical member of our sales team, you’ll develop and execute a strategic sales plan to close deals, build strong client relationships, and contribute to Pantheon’s success.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in SaaS or PaaS sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a scrappy, resourceful approach to building and managing a robust pipeline. You’ll need to be comfortable with outbound efforts, technical conversations, and selling Pantheon’s value proposition to technical personas and C-suite executives alike.

What you Need to Succeed

  • Drive net new business by generating a pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, and strategic territory management.
  • Lead discovery calls and navigate technical sales conversations with CTOs, CIOs, CMOs, Directors, VPs, and other executive-level stakeholders, including technical and marketing buyers.
  • Deliver compelling value propositions, leveraging a methodology like Force Management’s Command of Message.
  • Effectively qualify opportunities using frameworks like MEDDIC.
  • Own and exceed your annual quota by closing deals while identifying new opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to close, maintaining a focus on speed-to-value and customer success.
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting to ensure consistent revenue achievement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless and effective buyer’s journey

What you Bring to the Table

  • 3-7 years of experience in technical or MarTech SaaS sales, with a strong focus on outbound efforts and net new business acquisition.
  • Comfortable selling to a developer persona
  • Experience with established sales methodologies like Force Management’s Command of the Message or Winning by Design's SPICED.
  • Familiarity with qualification frameworks like MEDDIC or SPICED
  • Proven ability to generate your pipeline through outbound calling, prospecting, and identifying top targets.
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals consistently and achieving or exceeding quota.
  • A resourceful, scrappy mindset, able to build pipeline and opportunities without heavy lead support or brand recognition.
  • Strong ability to ramp quickly and adapt to a technical sale, often starting with technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Polished, professional demeanor with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with open-source technology is a significant advantage
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Contribute working code, documentation, and automated tests that deliver on Sprint goals

At Acquia, quality engineering drives the quality tool chain and process in an open and collaborative environment. To ensure that we have a repeatable process and systems to thoroughly test and uncover defects, quality engineering uses best of breed tools for automation and testing frameworks in conjunction with in-house tooling, infrastructure and services.  SDETs are embedded in each agile development team to facilitate and lead the testing strategy, and test automation requirements for every iteration and release. The quality engineering team also regularly meets to review and improve overall testing processes, automation, innovations and best practices. Each SDET works both independently and as part of a product group, where developers write tests and the quality engineering team supports the testing infrastructure and automation. In addition, they provide guidance for best practices and develop testing systems for smoke testing, behavioral testing, stress testing, performance testing, as well as supporting quality metrics.  

 

Our SDET is a strong voice for quality that actively pursues quality improvements, writing code, developing new infrastructure and tests to support our fast paced, highly diversified development organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work together with product managers, agile product owners, architects, tech leads and engineers to ensure the quality of our products
  • Participate in technical discussions for products and test infrastructure
  • Execute Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, coding standards, etc.)
  • Participate with developers in writing prolific test case code using Ruby, PHP, Java, Go, etc
  • Build and maintain efficient test frameworks and pipelines for performance, stress, and integration tests
  • Work in an agile model as part of a team to develop fully automated test cases for functional, unit, and integration testing
  • Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, implementation, automation, execution, maintenance and analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of hands on experience working on QA automation including functional, system, integration and regression testing
  • Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications
  • Well versed with backend API automation, tools/framework development necessary for the same 
  • Strong hands on knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts 
  • Strong working knowledge of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box and positive/negative
  • Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis
  • 1-3 years programming experience in any of the web languages (go, php, ruby, java) or equivalent
  • Experience with shell to utilize command line tools
  • Experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e. Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Travis)
  • LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) stack experience
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes/docker/containers

 

Nice to have:

Job Duties:

  • Review and analyze VAT/GST on invoices & expense reports; prepare timely returns
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and reconcile statements; research and correct discrepancies

  • Work with HR to ensure all payroll related transactions are processed accurately and timely for all international payrolls
  • Prepare UK payroll using online software providers and assist with outsourced payroll companies for the remainder of countries.
  • Assist with the UK Pension Administration and monthly filings.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual P11ds and PSA filings.
  • Prepare payments for international payrolls and tax payments
  • Communicate payroll matters with employees
  • Record all payroll activity in the general ledger, book accruals as needed and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
  • Maintain PTO trackers in compliance with local laws
  • Assist with all year-end accounts and tax reporting
  • Ensure a timely close of the general ledger including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses
  • Assist with collating information for external accountants to complete the local stat accounts and respond to any requests for information/clarification
  • Assist with the annual audit of the parent Company’s financial statements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    - 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the Technology industry
  • Experience in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Microsoft Excel would be preferable.  Training will be provided.
  • An entry level understanding of US GAAP and UK GAAP.  International experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Operations:
  • Design and lead the marketing operations strategy, ensuring scalable processes across lead management, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
  • Manage the marketing technology stack (CRM, marketing automation, data orchestration, analytics tools, etc.) to ensure seamless integration, usability, and alignment with the sales and customer success teams.
  • Own the lead management process, including lead scoring, nurturing workflows, segmentation, and routing to ensure high-quality leads are passed to the sales team.
  • Develop and optimize marketing workflows, increasing efficiency through automation and best practices across the team.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between marketing, sales, and account management teams, ensuring that all campaigns, data, and initiatives are in sync with organizational goals.
  • Govern data management and integrity, including data hygiene, compliance (e.g., GDPR), and accuracy across all marketing and sales platforms.
Analytics & Insights:
  • Lead the marketing analytics function, creating dashboards and advanced reports that provide deep insights into the full customer journey, including lead generation, attribution, funnel performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain marketing models, such as multi-touch attribution, predictive lead scoring, customer segmentation, and lifetime value analysis, to enable more accurate forecasting and performance measurement.
  • Partner with finance and revenue operations teams to align marketing metrics with overall business objectives, creating a cohesive view of marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends using advanced analytics to inform strategy, campaign planning, and optimization efforts.
  • Deliver actionable insights to the executive team, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation across all marketing programs.
Leadership & Strategy:
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing operations and analytics teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop operational and analytics talent within the marketing team by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the marketing team by promoting analytics best practices and the regular use of insights to inform strategies.
  • Drive operational efficiency, and ensure the successful execution of key initiatives within the digital marketing organization. 
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, vendors, and tools to enhance marketing operations and data analysis capabilities.
  • Manage budget for the marketing operations and analytics functions, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing ROI from tools, technology, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity in a SaaS or technology driven environment
  • Extensive experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and data orchestration (Openprise).
  • Proven track record of managing complex marketing technology stacks, data flows, and multi-channel campaigns

About the Role

As a Revenue Accountant, you will report to the EMEA Senior Revenue Manager and be responsible for focussing on and developing the Quote to Cash work stream.  Working with both the Finance team and wider business to provide both a high level of revenue assurance and meaningful insights to assist decision making.

  • Run and analyze Revenue Waterfall reports to assist with forecasting

Experience you must have

  • Minimum 2 years of experience 
  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Business and Finance Degree

  • Strong understanding of double entry and the dynamic between the Income Stmt and Balance Sheet
