We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This position accommodates remote work and will include the occasional travel to our corporate office in Somerset, NJor other offices, if needed. You will be responsible for building talent pipelines using various sourcing methods to create an always-on, diverse talent community within the renewable energy, power utilities, infrastructure, and transit/transportation sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Think strategically and act proactively to fill current needs and understand the value of building a pipeline for future opportunities. Identify pools of talent for unique, competitive, or difficult-to-fill roles
  • Collaborate closely and provide support within our talent acquisition team to identify top talent by executing on desired sourcing strategies
  • Maintain a clear understanding of all current and potential openings.
  • Deliver the quality and quantity of candidates to support open requisitions within reasonable and requested time frames
  • Participate in intake/search kick-off meetings and partner with hiring managers to understand the search parameters and business needs
  • Manage talent pool activity and share data-centric updates with recruiters for broader communication with internal stakeholders
  • Support onboarding program and employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain flexibility to provide tactical and strategic support in other human resources functions, such as learning and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits


Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 yearsof talent sourcing experience gained in agency and/or professional services environment, including a proven history of researching, identifying, and building quality talent pipelines
  • Experience managing multiple searches and competing demands through strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR a High School Diploma/ General Education Development (GED) with four (4) years of related work experience

What you’ll need

The Role

Career Accelerator Program Overview

With this in mind, we knew it was important to create a new program that would create an opportunity to accelerate growth by accelerating the learning and professional development of our in-house Change Agents and/or outside applicants.

The initiative is a Career Accelerator Program in which a limited number of selected candidates are trained by business leaders (Mentors) throughout the company to learn various business functions and skills. The program is managed by our People Lead in Human Resources (Program Manager).

Hired candidates join each team on a temporary and rotational basis to learn how a business function operates and to gain a better understanding of the value each function offers the company. Candidates gain hands-on experience by working alongside team members, performing special tasks, contributing to selected projects, and/or temporarily filling vacant positions. This program is designed to enhance and develop the knowledge, skills and abilities of participants by educating them in other programs and different types of work in order to facilitate development and growth of our workforce.

Program Length

It is anticipated that work assignments in this program will typically run for three to four months, however, two assignments may run in parallel depending on business needs. Program Conclusion

The successful completion of this program will create either an opportunity for a potential promotion into a new position or the option to fully transition into the HR Specialist role. Based on an assessment of the business needs and career goals of the candidate, the Program Manager will determine the most appropriate role going forward.
