As a Digital Marketing Trainee, you will work closely with our digital marketing team to assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies. You will gain practical experience in various aspects of digital marketing, including content creation, social media management, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across various digital platforms (e.g., social media, blogs, websites).
  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and email marketing is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
  • Create, schedule, and post social media content for CareerPlug’s LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram accounts
  • Update old blogs and transcribe webinar recap blogs
  • HubSpot Landing Pages: Edit language, updates, and new page creation using existing templates
Brand Asset Management:
  • Organize the Marketing team Google Drive assets and Guru (internal knowledge base) documentation
Reporting and Contact Sourcing:
  • Track and pull reports/data for HubSpot email campaigns
  • Support the marketing and sales teams by sourcing contacts for partner prospecting efforts
Administrative Tasks
  • Conduct research for marketing/sales campaigns, competitor analysis, and industry trends to help inform our strategies
  • Manage the placement of orders for marketing collateral, ensuring that we have the necessary materials for events, promotions, and client outreach
  • Assist with tracking marketing expenses and budgets

Job Requirements:

What you’ll do: 

  • Assist the Marketing team with events and webinars

  • Creating communications such as invites, follow up emails, social media posts 
  • Support ABM programs with various execution tactics such as  
  • Help the team with research into the accounts 
  • Helping build out account stakeholders and validation through LinkedIn and build contact for accounts lists

  • Clean up Salesforce contacts for the account 
  • Write, coordinate printing and send direct mail for accounts

The Events Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the Corporate Events Team logistically in the execution of our webinars, 3rd party events, and annual user conference, Converge.

What you'll do:

Webinars:

Support the team in Webinar program planning, management, and production.

  • Create, maintain, and produce webinars
    • Build webinar event in Swoogo (event platform)
    • Organize registration, promotions, and follow up for each webinar
    • Assist in writing/proofreading copy for webinar titles, promotions, social posts, etc.
    • Assist with speaker coordination including scheduling, communication, deliverables, and slide presentations
    • Review presentation material and provide feedback
    • Coordinate and schedule Zoom Webinar kick-off meetings, prep sessions, and run-throughs
    • Produce pre-recorded and live webinars using Zoom Webinar

Meet the Team: 

Join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team at Torc Robotics, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology. Our team is at the forefront of strategic messaging, branding, and content development, ensuring that Torc’s innovative solutions are communicated clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

Duration:

August 2024 to December 2024, with potential for extension based on performance.

Location:

This position offers flexible work arrangements. You can work remotely, or hybrid from one of our locations in Austin, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; or Blacksburg, Virginia.

Working Hours:

We offer flexibility in working hours, accommodating anywhere from 15 to 40 hours per week, based on your availability and our project needs. 

What You’ll Do: 

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications intern to streamline and improve our employee intranet and other communication tools. 

  • Work in our internal intranet and/or company website
  • Internal content creation, such as employee headshots or graphic design
  • Support the creation of internal communication materials to foster an informed and engaged employee community. 
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather information and craft messages that resonate with different audiences. 
  • Participate in organizing and executing company events and campaigns.

What you’ll need to Succeed: 

  • Currently enrolled in Junior, Senior or first year of Masters degree program in Communication, Marketing, Business, Journalism (or other related degrees)
  • Practical knowledge of WordPress or equivalent CMS and a basic understanding of SEO 
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS
  • Sound knowledge using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite to develop graphics, media, and reports
  • Curiosity and learning mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
  • Strong command of English and grammar 
  • Interpersonal skills, flexible, and can work independently

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications.
