The Basics:

Tanium is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to cover the Southeast region. The person in this role will be tasked with driving awareness and creating demand with CXOs and decision-makers inmid-market,enterpriseand Global 2000 accounts. You will partner closely with our field sales teams to deliver and acceleratepipelineto support sales in exceeding theirobjectivesand revenue goals. 

What you’ll do:

  • Define and implement region-specific marketing plan at all stages of the funnel, industry trade shows and events, local seminars and events, webinars and email campaigns 
  • Build thought leadership and awareness campaigns to educate the market on the company's POV, tied to key industry trends

The Basics:

At Tanium, our Support Engineers fulfill a necessary role in our organization by serving our customers in resolving technical issues and answering technical questions in a timely manner. With a primary focus on customer satisfaction, Support Engineers work both reactively and proactively to improve the overall experience of our enterprise customers when using Tanium. This role reports to a Support Manager.

As a Support Engineer, you’ll have continuous opportunities to apply your best technical skills while building new skills ranging from scripting to debugging.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assisting customers by:
    • Triaging inbound support cases
    • Solving customer support cases
    • Working with other Support Engineers to assist with their assigned cases

  • Improve customer experience by:

    • Tracking activity, documenting root cause, and reporting

We’re Looking For:

Education

Must Haves:

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $40,000 to $120,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay as required by law.

This role is hybrid with 3 days in office (Cracow)

The Basics

Tanium QA Engineers are responsible for testing products built on the Tanium platform. This will involve working with developers and product managers to construct & execute test plans, plan for functional, performance & regression testing, file detailed bugs, and providing visibility through project updates.

Strong technical skills are essential. If you are not comfortable hunting down resource leaks while simulating hundreds of thousands of clients, digging into the guts of windows security configuration or scripting environment configuration for dozens of target OS’s, this may not be the place for you. If these things sound as exciting to you as they do to us, then Tanium could be your new home!

What you’ll do

  • Utilize project management skills to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects throughout the entire software development cycle
  • Author and execute test plans and test cases
  • Manage resources, project plans, estimates and timelines
  • Write test automations with Python
  • Review test plans, monitor test progress, and distribute test reports
  • Understand business requirements and develop test cases against them
  • Execute test plans efficiently, opening high quality bug reports as bugs are discovered

We’re looking for someone with

  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant degree or equivalent experience 
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience (enterprise level preferred)
    • Solid understanding of blackbox testing and good experience with manual integration testing
    • Practical experience in test automation using programing language (Python preferred)
    • Solid understanding of manual and black box testing experience
    • Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux & Windows preferred); how they are installed and configured
    • Strong experience with virtualization - VMware, Hyper-V, UTM, and similar
    • Proficient with scripting languages - Shell, Bash, PowerShell, etc., and familiar with their use for streamlining day to day tasks
    • Solid understanding of network security, experience in using packet capture tools is a plus (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
    • Must be familiar with terms like authentication, file signature, and certificates
    • Project management skills a plus

Summary/Objectives  

At Tanium, our Director of Technical Account Management (DTAM) fulfills a necessary role in our organization to serve our customers by understanding the Tanium value proposition. DTAMs build and own the technical account strategy for their assigned customer accounts. Operating in a collaborative team environment with other TAMs, developers, enterprise services, and sales. DTAMs contribute to each customer’s success by supporting the Tanium platform in the field through leveraging the best practices to operationalize Tanium and lead technical sales opportunities for our most strategic accounts. 

DTAMs are the most experienced Field TAMs in the organization and are seen as trusted leaders and experts in all areas of account management, technical depth, and leadership within the team. Furthermore, DTAMs own the technical relationship and champion building with their customer technical and business decision-makers.  

Essential Job Functions 

* This position requires previous experience working with SLED clients.

* Qualified candidates must reside in Western U.S., ideally in Pacific Time Zone.

Manage customer accounts by: 

  • Solving customer support cases
  • Conducting health-checks
  • Assisting others with their assigned customers
  • Leading the improvement of the Tanium operational status within customer accounts 

Improve customer experience by: 

  • Documenting best practices
  • Tracking activity, documenting root cause, and reporting
  • Serving as a technical subject matter expert, focusing mostly on the strategic planning, testing, troubleshooting, and technical pre-sales aspects of the area.
  • Leading training sessions
  • Mentoring other TAMs
  • Participating in, and leading, the technical interview process

  • Leading technical pre-sales opportunities as both a technical subject matter expert and technical sales expert.

Minimum & Preferred Job Qualifications 

Education 

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar experience a plus 

Experience and Skills 

Must Have 

  • Eight-plus years in the industry with solid technical skills in multiple areas such as networking, security, operations, scripting, and/or programming.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Endpoint Security, Endpoint Support/Troubleshooting, Incident Response, Systems Management, Utility Scripting (bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python).
  • Experience managing enterprise customers and leading strategic pre-sales opportunities.
