Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and medical conditions
  • Prescribe nutraceuticals and/or medications and monitor their effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
  • Stay current with medical advancements, research, and clinical trials in the fields of functional, integrative and lifestyle medicine

Requirements:

  • MD, DO or DC – with a concentration in Functional Medicine, Anti-Aging or Lifestyle Medicine

  • Must have (or be able to obtain) an IL license and any remote location determined
  • For MD/DO candidates, a current IL DEA number is required (or must be obtained)

Your Role

You will:

  • Provide 100% FTE  primary care to a diverse patient population in complete virtual setting
  • Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess medical concerns, provide diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Oversee Nurse Practitioner collaborative practice agreements and serve as the physician supervisor participating in daily huddles to ensure patient safety and best outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of evidence based clinical programs

  • Take home call on a predictable schedule to address patients’ urgent health needs

You’ll be a  good fit if you:

  • Current Massachusetts license to practice as a medical doctor is required. Must be eligible for a medical license in 50 states. Our team will support you to secure license, registration, and credentialing in necessary states
  • Have experience working effectively on cross functional teams with NPs to care for patients
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with patients and colleagues
  • Have experience working at the intersection of healthcare delivery and technology
  • Have experience with tools related to process improvement and rapid-cycle change (a plus)

• Provides clinical oversight under the supervision of the CMO.

• Assumes responsibility/accountability for delegating, directing, and supervising patient care activities. Trains, mentors and supervises students and clinical support staff engaged in activities and procedures, as appropriate.

• Participates in the analysis of community health problems and assists in the development of the community health care plan.

• Participates in Compliance and Performance Improvement activities for continuous care quality improvement and risk management purposes.

• Participates in the review and development of patient care policies, including health maintenance schedules and continuity of care.

• Participates in the review and development of protocols and standing orders.

• Implements the plans, procedures and protocols for the medical team.

• Serves as a resource and positive, proactive leader for the department.

• Accepts responsibility for remaining current with medical and health care trends and information that impact the medical practice.

• Leads the health care team in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing patient and family needs to develop a plan of care.

• Participates in the evaluation of products, procedures, and patient care standards.

• Maintains professional courtesy at all times.

• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine

• Current unrestricted license from the Texas Medical Board to practice as a physician in the State of Texas

Description
Delivers medical, clinical and scientific advisory expertise in clinical research studies and post marketing programs (RWI). Signal detection and aggregated reporting.

Provides medical, scientific and therapeutic expertise on pharmacovigilance services.
Participates in all aspects of the Medical Safety activities as per scope of work, such as performing medical review and clarification of trial-related Adverse Events including review of analysis of similar events, medical evaluation of post-marketing adverse drug reactions, review medical inputs for into signal management and benefit-risk evaluation of drugs in clinical trial and post marketing set up, safety aggregate report review, safety review of study protocol, investigators brochure and other reference safety information, clinical study report narrative review, providing medical assessment comments etc. and serving as an internal consultant for any medical support for pharmacovigilance operations.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Perform medical review and clarification of trial-related Adverse Events (AEs) and post-marketing adverse drug reactions (ADRs) including narrative content, queries, coding, expectedness, seriousness, causality and company summary
• Compose, edit and medically review Analyses of Similar Events (AOSE) for expedited cases as appropriate based on regulatory requirements
• Serve as an internal consultant to pharmacovigilance case processing teams on projects being supported
• Provide aggregate reviews of safety information, including clinical data, to maintain oversight of a product’s safety profile
• Provide coding review of AEs, Past medical history, Concomitant medications or other medical data listings to verify and medically vet clinical data
• Represent safety and clinical data review findings during client meetings
• Provide medical review and edits to IND Annual Reports, EU Periodic Benefit Risk Evaluation Reports, EU Periodic Safety Update Reports, EU Development Safety Update Reports, US Periodic Reports
• Provide medical review and edits of Development Risk Management Plans, EU Risk Management Plans or US Risk

Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies
• Provide medical oversight for label development, review and change
• Provide medical support and attendance at Data Safety Monitoring Board Meetings
• Attends and contributes medical safety evaluation on Safety Monitoring Committees
• Provide medical safety contributions to the Integrated Safety Summary or Common Technical Document
• Provide medical review and edits to Drug Safety Reports or other benefit-risk assessments
• Review and sign off on both the Project Safety Plan and the Medical Monitoring Plan per medical safety scope agreed in contract
• Perform Medical Safety review of the protocol, Investigative Drug Brochure (IDB), and/or Case Report Forms (CRFs) for appropriate safety content and data capture.
• Act as Global Safety Physician or Assistant or Back-up on projects as assigned
• Attend project meetings, medical safety team meetings, and client meetings as requested
• Ensure coverage for all medical safety deliverables within regulatory or contracted timelines
• Provide medical escalation support for medical information projects
• Provide medical escalation support for EU Qualified Persons for Pharmacovigilance projects
• 24 hour medical support as required on assigned projects
• Maintain awareness of medical-safety-regulatory industry developments

Experience
Typically requires 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge
Requires deep knowledge of one or more related job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.

Education: A medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school with a curriculum relevant to general medical education.

Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of applicable federal and local regulations and guidelines pertaining to clinical research including
• knowledge of regulations and guidelines pertaining to safety and good clinical practice
• Knowledge of clinical trials and pharmaceutical research process
• Ability to establish and meet priorities, deadlines, and objectives.

About the Role

The Healthcare Account Manager will be responsible for signing up and engaging physician practice accounts, increasing referral volumes. You will prospect and target new accounts to close, conduct drive-bys, and visit regularly with practices. You will coordinate regular training, lunch and learns, and monthly or quarterly account reviews. We are seeking a self-starter with high energy, who will be responsible for identifying barriers to utilizing SonderMind or engaging clients into care, and work with the practices to resolve those barriers. The Physician Liaison will delight our provider partners and ensure they have a successful and pleasant relationship with SonderMind.

Essential Functions

  • Drive referrals from physicians across designated territory 
  • Monitor and improve performance of referring practices, identify and resolve barriers to referring 
  • Regularly visits physician offices to meet with physician and his/her staff in order to assess any needs that will result in increased case volume
  • Build brand awareness of SonderMind, it’s specialties and service lines
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure the physicians are excited about the SonderMind value
  • Complete assigned sales reports including use of Salesforce in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Represent the company at various community events, trade shows and promotions as required
  • Other responsibilities and ad-hoc projects from time to time, based on business needs.

 

What does success look like?

  • In your first 30 days, understand and be able to articulate the SonderMind product offering and service, be able to create a growth plan for existing book of business 
  • In your first 60 days, manage an existing book of business in an assigned territory, increase referrals
  • By the first 90 days, you are managing and executing against a full quota

Who You Are 

You have experience in physician-facing roles, where you were accountable to growing referral volumes. You are excited about the ability to engage and work with primary care provider practices and engage more clients into care. You are a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced, energetic and collaborative environment.

  • Minimum of 1+ years of account management experience, preferred physician-facing experience 
  • Ability to execute an Account Plan
  • Highly motivated, with proven ability to over-achieve individual targets
  • Willingness to be in field, driving to practices 80-90% of the day
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The anticipated salary rate for this role is $50,000 base and $70,000 with OTE. This position will also be eligible to participate in the companies uncapped commission plan.
