    The Senior Software Engineer’s responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Create an events-driven autonomous system, the Platform Control Plane (PCP), with the goal of centrally managing all facets of the hundreds of deployments of our core platform

    • Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue.

    • 8+ years of experience in network security, development, pre-sales engineering, or real world use of database and/or web application solutions; preferably with 5+ of these as a sales engineer and experience working in a start-up and vendor environment
    • Possess a solid understanding of web applications, database, security, and auditing environments
    • Knowledge in databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, DB2)
    • Knowledge in big-data repositories (MongoDB, Hadoop, etc) – an advantage

    Qualifications

    • Excellent primary programming language skills.

    • 8+ years of experience in the production of high-scalability online services. Domain doesn't have to be video games as long as user numbers are high: scale matters above all else.
    • Have been involved in at least 1 or 2 shipped products or services from start to end including LiveOps.
    • Other relevant domains to look into: content distribution, ad-tech, news, mobile gaming, finance.
    • FAANG (or adjacent) experience is highly sought after.
