Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for building relationships and presenting the benefits of contracting with ForTec Medical for the healthcare customer’s mobile surgical laser technology needs.  Call points include hospitals, surgery centers and physician offices with multiple specialties.  The territory range includes Akron/Cleveland/Sandusky/Toledo.  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years demonstrated successful medical device sales experience
  • Operating room sales experience 
  • Experience selling to surgeons
  • Large territory sales management experience preferred
  • Experience selling in a highly competitive market
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Excels in a team environment

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BS in either business or health sciences related field

Job Description

As ForTec continues to grow, we are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of the organization's sales activities.  A successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency while multi-tasking.   Additional job responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Review and resolve pricing errors and issues on completed cases
  • Create, update and maintain customer pricing schedules per contract parameters
  • Ensure internal systems accurately reflect current pricing strategies and work to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Assist sales team with constructing new business proposals with quotes and contracts
  • Utilize the contract/quote template and keep these tools updated and current
  • Utilize CRM to assist the sales tea in curating customer information
  • Help to identify duplicate and inaccurate data in CRM and proprietary internal systems, working with IT to rectify issues
  • Ensure all customer contracts are accurately documented in CRM
  • Review customer inquiries and requests, communicating to appropriate departments/individuals effectively and in a timely manner
  • Assist field technicians with case and pricing, accounting department with billing questions and customer care on an as needed basis

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates or Bachelor's degree in business preferred
  • 0 - 2 years of sales experience desired
  • Knowledge of accessing and using the Internet to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.  CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) knowledge a plus
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, written, multitasking and presentation skills required
  • Sales and goal oriented
  • Telephone skills, direct communication with sales reps and customers to obtain information
  • Be polite, be understanding and gathering information with probing questions in a professional demeanor
