The​ ​ Senior Accountantwill assist in the implementation of processes and procedures to​ support the unique needs of our high-growth, venture-backed growth company. This role will work alongside the Financial Controller, CFO, and manage the accounts payable and payroll processes within the finance & accounting team, they will collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate treasury management.

What you'll do...

  • Assist and support all phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, cash forecasting, monthly close process, and annual audit and tax filings.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the consolidated internal and external financial statements by completing daily and monthly accounting processes and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage Staff Accountant who handles the day to day Account Payable process. Review their work to ensure correct, timely and accurate completion. Manage the connection of bill.com and QuickBooks.
  • Manage and review semi-monthly payroll preparation and posting across all entities. Support and supervise state unemployment insurance/withholding registrations and remain compliant with quarterly and annual filings.
  • Maintain accurate support and documentation for accounting entries and transactions.
  • Record accounts receivable deposits and collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate treasury management.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and interact with billing, AP and payroll to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations including but not limited to inter-company, stock compensation, and review reconciliations completed by other team members.
  • Prepare journal entries, analysis, and assist with monthly close processes
  • Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate written accounting policies and procedures for revenue recognition, capital assets, spending authority, balance sheet reconciliation, COGS, and allocation of management expenses.
  • Maintenance of systems of internal controls
  • Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information.
  • Assist in the development of annual operating budget and forecast revisions

  • Efficiently accept patient handoffs from an Intake Care Manager and seamlessly continue care.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and record the patient’s progress using validated assessments each month that the patient is in the program.
  • Prepare and maintain all required records, reports, paperwork, and patients’ diagnostic records, maintaining the confidentiality of patients at all times.

Education & Experience:

The Readmissions Reduction Hospital Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and administration of the Readmissions Reduction Program on-site at the hospital(s). What you'll do...

This is a dual role encompassing Hospital Coordinator at Case Manager duties as outlined below:

Hospital Coordinator

Mindoula Population Health - SPP Program Managers lead a team of Care Extenders to implement and enhance the SPP program, serve members, and deliver outcomes to our health plan partners. Their team of Care Extenders empower members to actively participate in improving their own health and wellness through personalized case management that targets each member’s specific needs. An innovative Program Manager develops and implements creative strategies to support Care Extenders and program goals, leading the team toward the desired operational, clinical and financial outcomes. What you will do...

  • Act as a player/coach, working alongside Care Extenders (CE) to build their skills in everyday situations and to directly support members in more challenging situations or as needs arise, such as:
    • Assess members for risk, make quick evaluations for risk, and respond within the parameters outlined within their safety plan, formulating and performing crisis intervention that ensures the safety of members as necessary to support the Care Extender team.
    • Screen eligible and active members for behavioral health, medical, and social needs. Assist the Care Extender to prioritize needs.
    • Identify members’ urgent safety needs and partner with the Care Extender and member to create a safety plan upon enrollment to be utilized during periods of crisis.
    • Create service plans using all available information about the member, including screenings, conversations, data, and knowledge of community resources. Guide members in developing skills and/or strategies for managing problems and triggers to increase relapse prevention and reduce risk.

The Adolescent and Young Adult Suicide Prevention Program (SPP) is an analytics, engagement, and tech-enabled program designed to identify, engage, and holistically support the family system of adolescents and young adults (ages 12 – 26) at high and critical risk of suicide. The SPP addresses the entire family system by providing virtual support to the parents and guardians of critical risk adolescent and young adult members, as well as team-based, 24/7 virtual and in-person support to the members themselves. Mindoula Population Health - SPP Program Managers lead a team of Care Extenders to implement and enhance the SPP program, serve members, and deliver outcomes to our health plan partners. Their team of Care Extenders empower members to actively participate in improving their own health and wellness through personalized case management that targets each member’s specific needs. An innovative Program Manager develops and implements creative strategies to support Care Extenders and program goals, leading the team toward the desired operational, clinical and financial outcomes. As the leader of a community-based team, they model a hands-on approach, empowering the team to meet members where they are and tapping into the wide range of local resources to deliver whole-person care.


Location...100% Remote in the United States, but must work Pacific time zone hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm Pacific


What you will do...

  • Act as a player/coach, working alongside Care Extenders (CE) to build their skills in everyday situations and to directly support members in more challenging situations or as needs arise, such as:
    • Assess members for risk, make quick evaluations for risk, and respond within the parameters outlined within their safety plan, formulating and performing crisis intervention that ensures the safety of members as necessary to support the Care Extender team.
    • Screen eligible and active members for behavioral health, medical, and social needs. Assist the Care Extender to prioritize needs.
    • Identify members’ urgent safety needs and partner with the Care Extender and member to create a safety plan upon enrollment to be utilized during periods of crisis.
    • Create service plans using all available information about the member, including screenings, conversations, data, and knowledge of community resources. Guide members in developing skills and/or strategies for managing problems and triggers to increase relapse prevention and reduce risk.
    • Encourage members to develop work skills and to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills and develop social relationships.
    • Educate members about mental or physical illness, abuse, violence prevention, medication, and available community and social resources.
    • Monitor, evaluate, and record members’ progress according to measurable goals described in members’ plans.
    • Build accountability communications about upcoming appointments.
    • Interact continuously with members, families, physicians (s), and other providers utilizing clinical knowledge and expertise to lower over-utilization of unnecessary resources.
    • Request consultation and diagnostic reports from network specialists as needed to support members in reaching their goals.
    • Report critical incidents and information regarding the quality-of-care issues.

  • Coordinate caseloads and assist in referring new members to appropriate Care Extenders.
  • Ensure the team’s schedules meet program needs.
  • Participate in the screening, interviewing, and hiring of new team members. Provide orientation and training for new team members, conduct performance reviews, and continuously coach the team to build skills and improve performance.
  • Lead enrollment activities as needed to build a new market or maintain the current cohort, depending on where the program is in its lifecycle.
  • Ensure the team meets all Key Performance Indicators, coaching and training the team as necessary to keep the team on track to meet/exceed expectations and deliver outcomes for individual members and health plan partners.
  • Perform regular documentation reviews to ensure quality and for training purposes.
  • Analyze team performance to identify gaps and challenges and create plans to improve performance as needed.

What you'll need...

Mindoula is seeking a Clinical Program Manager for our Interpersonal Violence Reduction Program to lead a team of Case Managers in Nevada. Together, you will work on implementing Population Health Programs that deliver empowering outcomes to members in order to help them improve their own healthcare through personalized case management that targets each member's specific needs. Mindoula Health Inc is hiring a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager (Spanish speaking)

Mindoula Health is seeking Bilingual Behavioral Health Care Manager's to work with us full-time & remotely from anywhere within the United States. Mindoula’s teams of Care Managers, supported by technology including a mobile engagement app, proprietary psychometrics, and predictive analytics, are the key to its success!

How you’ll contribute:

  • Efficiently accept patient handoffs from an Intake Care Manager and seamlessly continue care.
  • Develop rapport with patients to create a safe therapeutic environment and assist them in developing insight into themselves, their patterns, and their relationships.
  • Encourage patients to express feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, assisting them in developing insight into themselves and their relationships.
  • Guide patients in developing skills and/or strategies for managing problems and triggers to increase relapse prevention and reduce risk.
  • Encourage patients to develop work skills and to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills and develop social relationships through brief therapeutic interventions including but not limited to motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and problem-solving therapy.
  • Educate patients on medication, and the importance of medication adherence, and monitor patients' medication and medication-related problems. Reporting all findings to PCP and Psychiatric Consultants.
  • Responsible for communicating treatment recommendations, ensuring recommendations are being addressed by PCP, and communicating updates reported by PCP and/or patient to a psychiatrist.
  • Match daily calendar to documentation in Mindoula's electronic medical record - MMR.
  • Reflect all billable activity in case of notes on MMR entered within 24 hours after billable activity.
  • Present follow-ups to the psychiatrist with necessary information during case presentation.
  • Counsel patients about their mental or physical illness, abuse, medication, and available community and social resources.
  • Assess patients for risk, make quick evaluations for risk, develop safety plans and respond within the parameters outlined within their safety plan, formulating and performing crisis interventions ensuring the safety of patients as necessary. 

  • Monitor, evaluate, and record the patient’s progress using validated assessments each month that the patient is in the program.
  • Prepare and maintain all required records, reports, paperwork, and patients’ diagnostic records, maintaining the confidentiality of patients at all times. 

  • Use clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills to facilitate communication with patients, patient's family/caregivers, staff, and the treatment team
  • Produce high-quality documentation that enables the patients to receive the best treatment possible. 

  • Competently relate to patients, their families, and agencies involved with patients through above-average interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Master's Degree Required in psychology, social work, or another behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Suite (calendar, docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
  • Strong data entry experience
  • Work experience with Electronic Medical Records
