The role

As a Product Manager for the Smart AI team, you will lead the charge in developing new enhancements for our platform and devising innovative strategies to deliver greater value to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Senior Leadership team to shape the roadmap

  • Identify new opportunities to enhance the product based on your conversations with our senior leadership team, customers, retail space knowledge and trends

Educate customers and internal stakeholders on new features

  • Own the presentation and delivery of key customer engagement activities such as product demonstrations, roadmap reviews, and strategic planning sessions.

Oversee and execute end-to-end product development process on time

  • You will be in charge of overseeing and executing the discovery, development and release of features within your team with the help of the product design, engineering manager, development and technical writer teams

About you:

Our Engineering team consists of 30 Engineers with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We work closely with our product team on various projects, including new features, infrastructure enhancements, and client-specific work. At Ometria we help e-commerce retailers make sense of their multiple streams of data and allow them to send more relevant communications. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Front End) to join our growing engineering team and help us build out scalable, reliable, performant solutions in our SaaS platform.


Your responsibilities

  • Design/Development - Work collaboratively to design scalable, performant, robust solutions alongside product managers and other software engineers. Developing those services in the most appropriate language (latest published ES version JavaScript) using primarily React.

  • Quality Assurance- Working with product managers to develop specifications and design to ensure quality solutions and happy customers. You’ll also work with other engineers on performance, security and robustness testing of the UI.

  • Ensure the privacy of our clients’ data- You will follow our data security policy and strive to maintain data security first and foremost for every task you undertake.


Our challenges:

Here are some of the challenges we are thinking about right now:

  • Building out scalable modern microservices on AWS/Kubernetes using JavaScript, Python, and Go, in a way it allows for the autonomy of teams, fault tolerance, reliable monitoring and alerting. We’re working on continually adapting the system for growth as we continue to onboard more clients, especially as we expand our US presence.
  • Updating and modernising our front-end architecture, choosing the right tools for the job. 
  • Optimising our reporting and inference engine (AI) to run analytics over millions of data points in real-time for our clients.  

Requirements

  • Experience level 
    • Solid JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, LESS/CSS experience
    • Experience with at least one front end framework ideally React, or others like  Vue, Angular, etc and building SPAs (including setting up tooling like Webpack and Babel)
    • Experience working with the DOM APIs and security in a browser context
    • Experience with unit and end-to-end testing (e.g. Cypress)
    • A background in functional programming approaches (e.g. Ramda, RxJS) would be a plus
    • Working with micro front ends and having contributed to a style guide would be a plus
    • You also have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Overview

We are looking for a Director of AI and Data as we continue to develop and evolve the AI components of the Ometria Customer Data and Experience Platform, and continue on our journey of being the leading CDXP for enterprise retail brands.

Ometria’s CDXP has over a dozen AI features, and manages almost a billion first-party customer profiles. Ometria Architect™ is our unique AI-powered strategic insights product, leveraging 15 proprietary algorithms and trained on a dataset of 30 billion retail-specific data points. 

You’ll be Ometria’s leading AI and Data Science expert, reporting into the Chief Technology Officer and working closely with the Product Leadership team, as well as product managers, product designers, domain experts and engineers.

You will focus on ideating, designing and developing AI features as well as evolving Ometria’s proprietary Architect™ offering, ensuring that we achieve our commercial objectives of winning new business and retaining customers. 

Key outcomes:

You'll need to have experience of working with Enterprise and VIP clients in your role and be comfortable managing senior stakeholders with differing priorities. Ometria is hiring a Remote Enterprise Customer Solutions Manager

We are in search of an Enterprise Customer Solutions Manager to join our Customer team of strategic retail marketing experts dedicated to empowering our clients to leverage Ometria's Customer Data and Experience Platform for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will hold a pivotal role in driving value and success for your clients, reporting directly to the Vice President of Customer Success. Your responsibilities will encompass managing technical projects across a portfolio of our VIP customers. Your primary objective will revolve around nurturing C-Suite technical client relationships, ensuring maximum client satisfaction, and facilitating smooth technical project delivery to drive CRM revenue growth for some of the UK's most innovative retail businesses.

Key Outcomes:

  1. Deliver Customer Retention :
  • You will champion customer retention by proactively identifying and resolving technical challenges that could lead to negative sentiment, ensuring seamless project delivery, mitigating sentiment risks, advocating for clients, and communicating updates on technical integration wins and obstacles.
  • Scope and deliver success technical projects :
    • You'll maximise customer value with Ometria by efficiently addressing needs by scoping and delivering solutions, peer validation, demonstrating platform expertise and tailored communication throughout. 
  • Build and maintain client champions :
    • You will strengthen client relationships, align aspirations, enhance visibility, and maintain trust through consistent delivery resulting in positive sentiment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data audits - proactively drive integration and data accuracy success by providing comprehensive integration and data audits to clients, presenting opportunities to improve their tech stack and integrations with Ometria.
    • Pre-emptive remediation - proactively preempt customer escalations and challenges by recognizing signals in sentiment risk and flagging customer challenges to Customer Success for remediation.
    • Assist CS - Work collaboratively with Customer teams by providing insight and support when they have technical questions and readily joining other teams in speaking to their clients when needed.

    Competencies and Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of technical account management experience in an enterprise software organization, preferably in the Retail and Ecommerce space.
    • Exceptional Communication skills, adept at confidently presenting robust and thoughtful solutions to clients, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including C-Suite executives.
    • Strong Client Management and Relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of delivering first-class customer service and exceeding client expectations.
    • Data Literacy, comfortable working with and interpreting data sets to derive insights and build compelling narratives.
    • Technical Understanding and Communication Proficiency, with the ability to adapt communication to stakeholders and a solid understanding of technical aspects relevant to Ometria's partnerships.
    • Meticulous Prioritization and Self-Management skills, thriving in fast-paced environments and effectively managing multiple tasks under pressure while contributing collaboratively to ideas and initiatives.
