Tau Six is hiring a Remote ServiceNow Developer (TS/SCI)

Tau Six, an agile small company delivering cutting edge cybersecurity and systems integration services to the US National Security market, has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Developer for a Department of Defense customer. In this role you have the opportunity to help design and implement innovative and efficient business automation for a critical DoD customer.

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with expertise in creating workflows to automate business processes and developing custom applications using the ServiceNow App Engine. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions and a deep understanding of the platform’s capabilities. This role requires active participation in Agile development processes, a minimum of three years of professional experience in ServiceNow development, and an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Development:

- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow workflows to streamline and automate business processes.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective workflow solutions.

Custom Application Development:

- Build, configure, and maintain custom applications using the ServiceNow App Engine.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of custom applications.

Agile Development:

- Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Platform Administration & Support:

- Maintain and optimize existing ServiceNow modules and integrations.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for ServiceNow-related incidents.

Collaboration & Documentation:

- Partner with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to deliver solutions aligned with organizational needs.

- Document technical designs, workflows, and development processes.

Compliance & Security:

- Adhere to security protocols and best practices to ensure sensitive data is protected.

- Work within the parameters of government regulations and security clearance requirements.


Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Administrator.

- Expertise in designing and developing workflows to automate business processes.

- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow App Engine for custom application development.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform features, including scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API)

- Current Top Secret/SCI U.s. Government clearance required
