 Position Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end close, including preparation of journal entries.

  • Prepare and record intercompany debit and credit notes.
  • Perform reconciliation of trial balance to local books.
  • Reconcile monthly tax reports to the ledger for submission to government entities.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register.
  • Assist with recording AR payments received and collections.
  • Assist with financial statement audits as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Education:

  • College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year experience in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Previous experience in an analyst type role is preferred.
  • Previous experience with multi-country support.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite (Oracle PBCS is a plus).
  • Experience in a service company, preferably employment staffing or recruiting.

Exposure:

  • Knowledgeable of local GAAP for each country entity assigned.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Your role

Your experience

  • 3-4 years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, credit and collections
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with NetSuite is preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting rules and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Compensation range

  • $100,000 - $115,000 + RSUs

DESCRIPTION:

Aetion’s Revenue Analyst will support a high performing finance team across a variety of functions. This position involves a keen understanding of Aetion’s business and will be involved in various accounting and financial activities while working as part of the Accounting team. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Monthly close of revenue according to US GAAP 
  • Analyze and forecast revenue across all end markets and customers to provide comprehensive picture of Aetion’s top-line financial health
  • Monitor revenue trends, variances, and other key performance indicators and escalate to appropriate party when needed
  • Implement processes and tools to improve revenue analysis and forecasting over time
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes with a focus on revenue recognition and reconciliation
  • Collaborate in the creation of revenue forecasts and company budgets
  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to anticipate changes in Aetion’s business
  • Partner with Client Partners teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with revenue and ACV goals
  • Analyze and report on Commercial spend, including variances relative to budget, prior forecasts, and Revenue / Bookings attainment
  • Determine commissions according to the company sales incentive plan
  • Provide insights on revenue and profitability across customers, products, channel, etc.
  • Support Commercial Operations in KPI and other reporting as needed
  • Facilitate subsequent evolution and maturity of revenue modeling within Workday Adaptive
  • Develop and provide revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Dashboards for company wide publication

QUALIFICATIONS*

Your experience

  • 3-4 years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, credit and collections
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with NetSuite is preferred

Compensation range

  • $100,000 - $115,000 + RSUs

Job Description

The role of the Regional Financial Analyst is to provide accurate and timely financial information and analyses to local, regional, and executive leadership. Support the implementation of best practices in accounting and reporting and provide oversight of policy compliance and risk management for an assigned territory – predominantly Mexico and South America.   

*This position will work remotely, with the ideal candidate residing in the Charlotte/Salisbury/Greensboro NC area, preferred, or commuting distance to Carlisle, PA facility. 

*This position is required to speak fluent Spanish. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly review financial submissions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring finalization in a timely manner.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports, including regional summaries and analyses, and lead and document financial analyses projects.
  • Perform financial functions including but not limited to, evaluating, auditing, planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost control analyses.
  • Act as a consultant within assigned territory by partnering with Operations and Finance teams for financial policies and procedures, and financial plan budgets, forecasting and performance.
  • Continuously review local/regional operations for effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate and work with management and local/regional/Corporate Finance teams to standardize processes and implement shared best practices.
  • Partner with local/regional Finance teams to document local processes and procedures in both the resident language and English, and ensure documentation is maintained and kept current.
  • Complete ad hoc analyses, as requested.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in accounting and reporting with an emphasis on process setting and internal controls; or equivalent education and related experience.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or a global and multi-cultural organization, and experience as an internal or external auditor, strongly preferred.

Prior experience with Cost Accounting, and experience with Mexican/Brazilian accounting standards and taxation, preferred.

Prior experience with SAP BPC, and Infor Visual Manufacturing, a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Accounting/Analytical Skills.  Strong accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis skills. Strong knowledge of US GAAP.   Ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and factual business case. Strong financial analytical capabilities for developing profitability strategies. Ability to identify problems, collect objective data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Responsible for providing status updates to other departments regarding sample submission.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining reports including but not limited to quality data trending, COA on shared drive, ingredients test informational spreadsheets, laboratory log spread sheets, etc…
  • Reviews COA (Certificate of Analysis) from raw material suppliers, Co-Manufacturers, 3rd Part Laboratory testing, with approval/non-approval notifications to all parties.  
  • Maintain COAs (Certificate of Analysis) on the company network drive.
  • Conduct review of raw materials and finished products within two days receipt of COA.
  • Prepares and submits samples to the appropriate 3rd party laboratory testing facility for New Product Development, R&D prototypes, and quality finish product samples.
  • Communicates notification to supply chain, operations, and leadership teams of release when results conform to specification and when out of specification.
  • Track all finished product releases with status monthly by vendor and product for management.
  • Manage OOS (out of specification) investigations for all products that fail to conform to specification, complete report.  
  • Works closely with the Co-manufacturers, Product Development, Regulatory staff to resolve quality issues regarding product testing
  • Review and approves monthly lab invoices for AP and tracks all lab related costs monthly.
  • Work closely with team to inspect, record, and maintain retain samples to ensure compliance with cGMPs including but not limited to an annual inventory audit
  • Follows and complies with approved regulatory policies and standard operating procedures, GMP 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117, 21 CFR  507, or any other law, rule, or regulation.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science
  • Fluent in both English AND Mandarin, required
  • Minimum one year of direct experience in the pet food and or dietary supplement industry with 21 CFR 11, 21 CFR 111, and 21 CFR 117 experience
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) in both English and Mandarin
  • Energy and enthusiasm to develop processes from the ground up, drive and track tasks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement process.
  • Vigorous attention to detail

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for supporting and analyzing the invoice to cash receipts cycle. This includes analysis of transactional trends and recommending actions to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build reports, datasets, and queries of downstream engineering interfaces that are complete, accurate, timely, well-documented and suitable for Finance use cases.
  • Prepare reporting and analysis on weekly and monthly cadence.
  • Craft and enhance visibility of relevant KPIs necessary to measure department performance.
  • Takes a detail-oriented approach to analyze and report billing and accounts receivable related transactions, including data quality analysis and various reconciliations.
  • Identifies issues and recommends process improvements and corrective actions as appropriate.

  • Review credit applications, other sales-enablement activities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to new processes and systems in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Effective & professional communications with a variety of departments, customers, and over the phone, email, and in person while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years related experience or at least 7 years of proven progressive working experience and related coursework or education in Accounting or Finance can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with accounting systems and accounts receivable workflow are preferred.
  • Advanced skills with Excel
  • Ability to perform multiple duties, under tight deadlines while demonstrating knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable best practices.
  • Possesses strong administrative and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
