 Overview:

The FP&A Analyst will be an expert on LivePerson's revenue and expense and participate in preparing compelling, data-driven analyses and presentations to influence LivePerson's leadership. This role will report to the Director of FP&A and interact regularly with Accounting and business unit leaders.

You will: 

• Support the global forecasting and core planning process while assisting with the long-term financial models.
• Help produce the financial reporting package. Ensure a high degree of quality, highlighting and communicating key business insights to management.
• Support global revenue and expense consolidations efforts through budget reviews, forecasting and analytics.
• Partner with the business, FP&A counterparts and the broader organization to evaluate the effectiveness of current plans & initiatives, communicate key insights, and make recommendations to senior management
• Support the financial systems and process optimization, capturing efficiencies by simplifying data structure, streamlining workflows, standardizing templates and identifying opportunities for automation.  Implement AI tools to drive automation of transactional work.
• Improve growth and profitability by leveraging expertise in revenue and expense drivers

You have:

• At least 3 years of finance experience in corporate finance/FP&A or related finance/analytical role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
• Data driven mindset with track record of successful financial modeling and analysis
• Experience working with financial tools such as Hyperion, Workforce Planning, and ERP systems

• The FP&A Analyst will join a tight-knit FP&A team that is committed to building out a best-in-class operational and analytical function.

The Senior FP&A Analyst role may span a range of experience and expertise. Through our interview process, we will review your background, local market data, and use a mix of technical and qualitative assessments to determine where you fall in our range. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization.

Our starting salaries for this role range from $84,000-$130,000 per year. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.

Overview 

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical and planning tasks including: revenue planning, expense budgeting, capacity planning, forecasting, general financial analysis, as well as directly supporting our internal business units. • Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations and financial reporting for leadership, board meetings, and investors
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to GAAP standards
• Review and approve vendor spend requests to ensure they are within budget and meet AP guidelines
• Take a leadership role in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing financial systems, and improving data accuracy.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in an FP&A role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and knowledge of GAAP standards a plus but not required
• Exhibit superior ownership of responsibilities and delivery of final work product
• Ability to make sound financial & business decisions with demonstrated ability to present complex data in clear, compelling, and summarized formats non-finance professionals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact within all levels of the organization
• Spreadsheet and presentation guru
• Expert proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry-standard KPIs and processes for SaaS businesses
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Netsuite. Experience with financial planning tools, specifically Anaplan, a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. This person will be critical in forecasting and analysis to drive strategic decision-making throughout the organization.

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll excel by proactively identifying and taking ownership of critical workstreams. Developing solid relationships with business partners to build complex cross-functional reporting that provides detailed, analytical, and actionable insights. In this role, you will:

Qualifications

The FP&A team leads company-wide planning, forecasting, and reporting and strives to provide comprehensive decision support through strong understanding of the business, its needs, and strategy. The team builds strong partnerships and enables cross-functional dialogue and initiatives to connect insights across functions, measure performance, create accountability, and drive business growth.

Lattice is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the GTM Finance team in the FP&A organization. You will report to the Director of FP&A and support GTM and Finance leadership, delivering insights and providing recommendations for driving sustainable growth. You will serve as the liaison between FP&A, Accounting, and GTM operations to find ways to improve, automate, and scale models and processes while enhancing reporting and forecasting accuracy.

What You Will Do

• Support planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including monthly and quarterly closes
• Manage and scale a variety of models related to capacity, attainment, and GTM metrics 
• Maintain and improve the overall sales commissions model, including  calculations and forecasting, while partnering closely with key stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and GTM operations in plan design and quota setting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to give more insights on commission expenses, headcount, and various KPIs
• Seek ways to improve existing processes, business partnerships, and systems

What You Will Do

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent knowledge
• 3+ years of finance, public accounting, or comparable experience; familiarity with the software industry (and SaaS) a plus
• Expert in Excel and Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets); comfortable managing large datasets and driver-based models
• Familiarity with ERP and planning tools such as Netsuite, Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, etc.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $80,000 - $125,000. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
