Ripple Effect is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer and Illustrator with 4 years of experience to support our client’s mission. This role will work closely with our Communications and Outreach Division to create visual concepts using computer software to convey ideas in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.

General Information 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain visual identity standards for project-related brands.
  • Stylize Scientific Reports in MS Word and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Design and layout websites, elements such as banners, icons, featured images, etc., and work closely with web developers to implement.
  • Develop a variety of communications collateral including PowerPoint Presentations, Infographics, Fact Sheets, Program Booklets, social media graphics, etc.
  • Experience with video editing, animation, and production.
  • Develop Illustrations for client and internal-based projects.
  • Ability to sketch out concepts such as journey maps, infographics, storyboards, etc.
  • Collaborate and develop innovative illustrations for infographics, data visualizations, and other projects as needed.
  • Work with others to develop brands, logos, icons, and other graphic media as needed.
  • Create graphics repositories for blog posts and other digital media.
  • Graphics maintenance tasks (e.g. cropping photos, creating templates, vectorizing images).
  • Work independently and collaborate with team members on project work when needed.
  • Develop style sheets and creative briefs.

Minimum Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design
  • 4 years of relevant experience

Basic Requirements 

  • Experience developing graphics for the government, healthcare, or biomedical sector.
  • Extreme flexibility with ever-changing demands and requirements of clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead a project or task with multiple elements to completion.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and strong internet search capability; Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required; Fireworks or Dreamweaver optional; E-Learning software: Articulate optional.
  • Ability to illustrate customer journey maps, personas, storyboards, and ecosystems.
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on virtual teams.
  • Good customer service and strong attention to detail are a must.
  • Must provide portfolio samples.

The Role

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team.     • Lead. Independently coordinate multiple project efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines, all with positivity and decisiveness

    ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
    • 5+ years professional experience in a graphic design position. Experience in the Architecture/Engineering field is a plus 
    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field 
    • Stunning graphic design portfolio showing a balance of elevated brand collateral and high-concept materials, emphasizing print documents. Submitted copy of your portfolio is required
    • Compelling storytelling style, in both written and visual applications 
    • Strategic, creative thinking with the ability to brainstorm, collaborate, and build consensus among multiple stakeholders 
    • Well-developed communication and analytical skills 
    • Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory, and typography in both digital and print media 
    • Willing to travel in support of remote projects and teams 
    • Expert user of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and the Microsoft Office 360 Suite 
    • Familiarity with After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere is advantageous but not required

    The salary range for this position is $69,200 to $86,500 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance.     Salary Range
    $97,000$104,000 USD

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer with motion design experience to join our in-house Brand team. At Podium, our mission is to help local businesses win.     Our creative team acts as the internal agency working to provide thoughtful, strategic, and inventive design to support the entire company, working closely with departments like marketing, product and sales. From digital and print, to event collateral and company apparel, we prioritize standout design in everything we do. 

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Lead design for digital, paid social, event collateral, print, ebooks, animations, company apparel, brand illustration and other brand/marketing initiatives. 
    • Work with ACD to roll out a new Podium brand by evolving our design system and developing multiple brand touchpoints across various channels.
    • Strategize with internal stakeholders and Brand leads to determine projects and priorities
    • Proactively work to reduce friction and contribute to a positive working environment

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Diverse, standout portfolio showcasing a breadth of work in brand design, digital, and print design
    • 4-6 years of professional experience, preference working in in agency or tech
    • Experience with motion design not required, but highly preferred
    • Experience and knowledge of Figma and Adobe Suite necessary
    • Honed eye and understanding for typography, layout, hierarchy, and trends
    • Ability to constructively give and receive feedback with other designers
    • Work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, ownership, and focus
    • Able to manage multiple project workload, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
