Your Career

As a member of the Palo Alto Networks sales leadership team, you will build and drive the Prisma Cloud sales teams to exceed company objectives and grow the district according to plan.   • Deep understanding of how to build a district in a fast-growing dynamic environment, leveraging the broader Palo Alto Networks community and creating a culture within the region that supports the objectives of the Company
  • Proven experience selling and managing sales teams in the technology industry with a preference for a mixture of network infrastructure based security appliances, software and cloud
  • Self-motivated

What you'll do as a Network Specialist Solutions Engineer

As a Network Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for designing network solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients to assess their requirements, develop network architecture, and provide technical guidance through the sales engagement. You will be expected to ensure that network solutions are reliable, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and experience in network architecture and design.

You will work closely with our Account Executives (AEs); generalist SEs, as well as every other team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support. 

Responsibilities

You serve as a trusted advisor to our customers and to the Cloudflare team; helping them find the best solution for the customer business needs with Cloudflare One.

  • Guide qualified prospects through the Solution Design and Proof of Concept stages of sales engagements; showing them the key capabilities of the Cloudflare Magic product portfolio.
  • Work with your Sales Partners to consistently achieve Pipeline and Revenue goals.
  • Understand our customers IT landscape and security requirements and develop an architecture for our customers to support their business needs.
  • Articulate the benefits of the Cloudflare Magic product portfolio vs competing solutions.
  • Promote retention by capturing and communicating gaps in product or features.
  • Assess client requirements and design network solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop network architecture and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to clients and internal teams.
  • Help creating Reference Architectures, Implementation Designs and Design Guides based on Cloudflare solutions and industry use cases.

Skill Requirements

  • Curiosity and learning agility.
  • 3+ years of experience in network architecture and design, including DDoS mitigation and other similar technologies.
  • Experience interacting with senior level/executives to communicate a message of network and security transformation.
  • Familiar with trends in cyber security (e.g. RAT/trojans, malware, ransomware, phishing, adware, cryptomining, spam, botnets, info stealing, scareware, etc.).

  • Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including monitoring and analysis of security events, incidents, and breaches. Manage security tools and technologies to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Lead incident response activities in the event of a security breach or cyber-attack. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including clients, to contain the incident, investigate its root cause, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate clients about security best practices, policies, and emerging threats. Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Manage relationships, products and services provided by security vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Evaluate and recommend security products to fit client security needs and requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security. Ensure compliance with applicable security requirements and participate in audits and assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks related to security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts. Generate regular reports for executive management and clients to communicate security status, metrics, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with client management to provide strategic direction and guidance on security-related matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security principles into business processes and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the technology domain, preferably in the MSP or IT services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and methodologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity and access management.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends, cybersecurity concepts, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align security initiatives with strategic business goals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualities:

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and regulations, with a focus on the alternative investment industry.
  • Experience in incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations management.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience in building and leading high-performing security teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute security strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and incident response management.
  • Experience with network security products such as Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls or Prisma Cloud is a plus

As a member of Shift Technology's Infrastructure team, your role as a Cloud Operations Team Leader:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team (2) of Cloud Operations specialists in US
  • Will be tasked with serving as the primary point of technical escalation contact
  • You will be responsible for being the point of contact for any operational escalations within the organisation.
  • Ensure that the Incident management process is running as expected, and that the operations team is handling incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operations team will be responsible for the Incident management process, so need to ensure the process is running as expected.
  • Manage support tickets (changes, requests, incidents, etc.) and escalate to the appropriate resolution level.
  • Monitor alerts and follow their evolution, escalate as needed.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, and OVH) and take care of the infrastructure backup and the backup checks.
  • Maintain Linux and Windows systems, network, and security software/equipment.
  • Apply security patches to the entire IT infrastructure.
  • Deploy new client projects and infrastructure based on established requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day infrastructure work and ensure that desktop computers are compliant with security policies.
  • Cultivate great co-worker and client relationships.
  • Available to work during weekends based on the team’s rotation schedule. (1 in 3 weekends)

Technical Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience working with cloud computing - e.g. Azure or AWS or GCP (Required)
  • Networking and firewall expertise - VLANs, Zone based firewalling, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, URL filtering, IDPS (Required)
  • Proficiency in Windows, Office, and Active Directory is required
  • Infrastructure security experience - Patch and vulnerability management
  • Backup knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation or ARM, for deploying and managing cloud resources. (good to have)
  • Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization techniques, including resource tagging, reserved instances, and usage analytics. (good to have)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions, such as Grafana (Required)
  • Experience with Jira ticketing system and Confluence (good to have)
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Git, Jenkins and Ansible, for automating software delivery and infrastructure management. (good to have)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2, and experience implementing controls to meet these requirements. (good to have)

  • Deep understanding of Cybersecurity space required 
  • Understanding of Public Cloud Security space preferred
  • Prior experience selling SAAS or Cloud solutions
  • Excellent communication skills including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills being able to articulate complex topics
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques
