Qualifications for the Role:

Key Requirements

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Expertise with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm package manager.
  • Expertise with logging and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
  • Hands-on experience supporting/developing cloud enterprise technology and infrastructure in AWS.
  • Knowledge of development, security, and system administration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the metrics and report on the ROI of the analyst relations program
  • Identify and track all relevant analysts including research, blogs, and social media content as well as their upcoming research agenda
  • Request and schedule regular briefing and lead the execution of presentations and demos with marketing, product, product marketing, SMEs, and executives
  • Develop and maintain a process to documenting interactions and disseminating information to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive regular communications and updates to analysts and stakeholders
  • Project management the evaluation process (i.e. Magic Quadrant, Wave), ensuring questionnaires, customer references, and fact-checking are flawlessly executed
  • Drive internal communications related to the analyst relations program, specific opportunities for engagement, and how revenue producers can leverage analysts to close more business
  •  Support the planning of conferences and events with Gartner, Forrester, and other analyst firms
  • Partner with PR to ensure that analyst coverage is maximized and to build awareness within the media of BlueVoyant’s capabilities
  • Own BlueVoyant’s Gartner Peer Insights presence and proactively work to drive up the number of 5-star reviews
  • Support the demand generation effort by identifying analyst content that can be leveraged to drive qualified pipeline
  • Manage internal SAS days with the analysts and work with the product team to turn insights into actions that improve our presence in analyst reports

  • Experience supporting the enablement & growth of a channel partner sales team to help them effectively articulate and position the value of our solutions to increase pipeline & sales.
  • Experience with MDR platforms, SIEM, 3rd Party Risk & Threat Intelligence solutions a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Resellers, Azure and M365 suite of security solutions a plus.
  • Deep background in security technologies & managed security solutions
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with the BlueVoyant product, marketing, and sales team.

BlueVoyant is looking for an Incident Manager to join our Security Engineering team. You will be responsible for providing command, control, and communication for the incident response process during and after production outages and/or service disruptions. The goal is to drive the adoption of best practices through focus on stability and improving operational transparency across the organization.

The role is an opportunity to manage business impacting events and incidents for our Global Organization. The Incident Manager acts as a catalyst to accelerate incident response while striving to reduce the duration and severity of business impact. The Incident Manager will be in a unique position to interact with people and teams globally, across all levels of the Firm, and influence decisions that have a direct impact on operational stability. 
The role will also be involved in advising and consulting on processes related to Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management. You will be responsible for engaging directly with all functional engineering and service teams to ensure SOPs are well defined and continuously reviewed for improvements. There is a clear leadership trajectory for the right candidate as the organization continues to grow. 

Some Of The Things You Will Be Doing Include:

  • Notify relevant teams when an incident occurs with initial details. Continue to keep customer-facing teams informed as the incident progresses.
  • Coordinate responses and field questions while an incident is ongoing. 
  • Interact with technical incident response teams. Gather details on incident impact, progress, time to resolution, root cause analysis, etc. 
  • Track and coordinate any post-incident follow-up activities, especially ensuring that lessons learned, and action items are appropriately documented and tracked
  • Manage the process for formalizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports 
  • Track and report on incident data, SLA requests and amount, and other incident metrics that may be identified.
  • Track Incident Mitigation Actions/Action items. 
  • Formalizing standard procedures and playbooks for Incident Response plans
