About the role:

Forter is looking for a Director of Business Valueto lead a cross-functional program driving end-to-end value creation for prospects and customers. This function is part of Forter’s growing Pre-Sales team working closely with GTM, Product, Marketing, and Operations.

This is a high visibility role expanding business value impact across the organization. You will be directly responsible for quantification of Forter’s economic impact through high-touch engagements with prospects and customers, self-service programs, & evangelism. What you'll be doing:

  • ACV growth: Work with account teams to quantify the disruptive impact of Forter’s platform offerings and engage with key client executives

  • Drive value realization: Partner with the customer success team to measure and build joint agreement with our customers on the value delivered

About the role:

Forter is looking for a Director, Solutions Consulting (SC) to lead our team across the U.S. You’ll be reporting to the VP, Global Solutions Consulting and be responsible by leading the charge in identifying and recruiting top talent to join the team as a Solutions Consultant, partnering with regional sales directors across the U.S. to ensure that the SC team is aligned to meet the needs of the sales organization and work with cross functional leaders to enhance the value added services that our team provides to our GTM organization.  You will be focused on executing quarterly and annually to sales goals established by sales leadership and finding creative ways to add value to our customers in the sales cycle and over time.

You’ll be the leader and manager of the U.S. SC team and you’ll be expected to think 12+ months out about your team with a clear business plan, the KPIs that your team is aligned with and be flexible to work with cross functional leaders in achieving these goals.  You will be the type of individual who enjoys being a trailblazer in establishing how the team will add value within our organization and ecosystem, bringing new ideas to the table, and with a high growth mindset, you will constantly be looking for ways that we can challenge the status quo and regularly drive innovative approaches that add value to the wider pre-sales and GTM teams as well as our partners and customers.  Leveraging your network of talent, you’ll be focused on identifying best in class team members who can make a marked impact working with our Enterprise customers. The team you build will be made up of team members who are business and technically savvy, and will leverage their past Pre-sales experience to drive our U.S. business forward.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Clearly defining the plan for the US Solutions Consulting team by taking direction on Pre-sales and Sales goals from applicable leadership and developing and driving the vision, priorities, and core value pillars to drive efficiency and cohesion across the team
  • Setting individual and team KPIs based on the organization's sales goals and working closely with different stakeholders across the organization to ensure those goals are met / exceeded
  • Being a coach and mentor to team members with clear and regular career coaching and feedback
  • Assembling a world-class Pre-sales team through recruiting and retaining top Solutions Consulting talent
  • Developing relationships with trusted technology partners to maximize the impact with our customers
  • Building, implementing and scaling processes as necessary for the growth and benefit of the team’s success
  • Regularly accompanying team members to sales discussions and customer account reviews, capturing and sharing feedback (both internally and externally) to refine processes and provide insights and suggestions to our Product and Go-To-Market teams
  • Enriching our Pre-sales team with key insights from internal dashboards, reports, and data so that we can challenge our status quo and innovate as we build a world-class Pre-sales organization
  • Partnering closely with the rest of our global Pre-sales leadership team, providing valuable field inputs which will help us identify ways in which we can drive operational efficiencies across our sales segments (Commercial, Enterprise, and Strategic Sales)
  • Working with our other Forter leaders in collaboration to ensure alignment and best practices are being achieved

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of proven leadership & management experience (preferably pre and post IPO)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a pre sales leader
  • Proven track record of success working for a SaaS company, with payment industry background as a preference.
  • A keen operational sense to identify gaps and implement process where necessary
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment, be trusted to drive initiatives autonomously and gain buy in from a wide collection of stakeholders
  • Present our solutions in a clear manner to both technical and business audiences
  • Work with Sales Directors, meet with clients, and deliver technical insights for business questions regarding the sales process
  • Help remove barriers with potential prospects by clearly articulating Forter’s integration, technology and projects scoping with a relentless drive for quality

About the role:

As the Trusted Identity Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy across a diverse set of Enterprise and Strategic accounts in North America. You will work in close partnership with a cross functional team of Account Owners, Customer Success Managers, Sales Consultants, Sales Development Representatives and Regional Marketing Managers to develop and manage a strategic sales pipeline for Forter’s Identity Protection product. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with a large list of existing clients across the Enterprise and Strategic segments, as well as source your own opportunities across North America, utilizing a consultative approach to identify pain points and challenges that Forter's Trusted Identity product can help solve
  • Manage a sales pipeline and process from initial outreach to presentation, negotiation, and close, working with current account owners and building a pipeline of new prospective 
  • Identify and build relationships with economic champions / buyers within major accounts and position Forter's value proposition to the appropriate lines of business and technical teams
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Strategic Alliance, and Marketing teams to drive leads and account activity, as well as with our Pre-sales Solutions Consultants to create customized sales presentations and tailored ROI models
  • Provide field analysis and feedback internally to help shape sales collateral and longer term expansion planning
  • Build a strong understanding of the Customer Identity & Access Management space and familiarity with its ecosystem (competitors, partners, resellers)
  • Represent Forter at industry events and sales meetings with key eCommerce players in North America

What you’ll need:

  • You must be highly driven, while also showing integrity, high emotional intelligence, and exceptional executive presence
  • Ability to manage a broad territory and be able to skillfully run the entire sales process, backed by a team of fraud and security experts
  • A self-starter with a passion for winning
  • A strong network with a proven track record of enterprise sales across key verticals, including Banking/FinTech, High Tech, SaaS and Media & Entertainment 
  • Demonstrated success in target account selling in a multi-regional capacity across North America
  • The ability to build strong relationships, as demonstrated through prior experience prospecting and leveraging industry contacts to develop and close new businesses
  • A strong understanding of the security industry, including bot protection, consumer identity, and MFA;  Strong understanding of CIAM preferred
